We had no idea what we were looking for, and she took the time to help us figure out the style and layout we needed. Hired Jen 2 months back for colour consultation , colours she suggested turned out really ugly for the kitchen cabinets so we had to buy different colour again after consulting Benjamin moore's employee. Accent walls she recommended to be darker in living room and master room , even in the bright sunlight it's only a shade lighter than other walls which looks wierd . Paint for all bedrooms was grey but have a undertone of blue in it so it does not looks grey. I was hoping to get staging done from her but I am disappointed.

Driftwood Decor and Design recently staged our 3 bedroom detached home before we put it up for sale. Being new to the whole staging thing, we did our research and got a couple quotes before hiring anyone. We could not be more thrilled with the work Driftwood Décor and Design did for us. My husband and I live in a rental apartment and we initially had some trouble finding a designer who was affordable, and who would take on a project in a small space. Jennifer is a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. She has an amazing sense of style and possesses an excellent aptitude for reading her clients, and she designed a space that reflects us perfectly. As my husband and I are both designers in the digital media realm, we pledged to each other that we would not micromanage the process and instead take advantage of Jennifer’s expertise entirely, and we are glad we did. She came up with ideas we never would have had and convinced us to take risks we never would have taken on our own, and it all paid off amazingly well. As lifelong renters, we never expected that we would be able to truly make a place a home, yet still be able to take it with us should we ever have to move. Jennifer’s ability to sniff out amazing deals allowed us to replace nearly everything we had with elegant, designer or custom items, yet still stay within budget. Jimmy’s incredible talent assembling, installing, painting and fixing existing problems left us with a place where everything is solid, everything is level, the walls are flawless (both paint and plaster), nothing was damaged, and they cleaned up after themselves every day so we were able to live here while the work was going on. And the whole project took less than 8 weeks. What do I like best, besides everything? The custom chain/rail picture wall in the hallway, the custom solid Mennonite cedar chest, the fireplace, the colours, the rugs, the lamps, the furniture, the curtains, the bathroom, the music studio, the comfort of knowing all the bookshelves are attached to the walls, that everything on the walls is totally secure. Hiring Driftwood Décor and Design is absolutely, without a doubt, the best decision we ever made.
