We worked with Pure Elements of Design for a variety of aspects of our current home. We designed a custom home plan for our country lot and had Armand provide design services for the following: all exterior colors and stone choices, all cabinets (kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, walk-in pantry, butlers pantry), backsplash decisions, all flooring selections (hardwood and tile), and all paint colors for all rooms. We later finished the basement in a second project and had him assist with: all bar and bathroom cabinets, floor selections, and paint colors. Not only did he help us with all the selections, but he also provided all product and installation services. The cabinet installer he used for us is incredible and can't be beat - and the tile installer does amazing work too. We did our own floor installation and all paint but he still supported us in any questions we had related to those parts. All in all, we couldn't be happier with our house and we get very nice comments from anyone that enters our home for their first time; and even some people that come back time and time again comment on how they love our house. We are currently designing a custom cottage about 2.5 hours outside of town and Armand has been supporting us with that as well. He will be also be providing design services for all cabinetry, flooring selections, color selections (including our custom timber stain colors), etc. We're lucky to have found Pure Elements of Design and will use Armand for years to come on any other projects we take on.

Extremely disappointed with what was done in my master bathroom. The project was not cheap. I thought if I pay a lot, the process will be painless but it turned out it is a gang show since November 2020. I will never use them again and I do not recommend them. The list is very long: 1. Showed them on their website which tiles I want. They delivered different one. When I told Armand this is not the tile I wanted he assured me the results will be same beautiful. 2. White frosty grout on the same tiles turned into grey and brown in some places. They told me the ceramic tiles I have chosen are bleeding to grout. Consulted with another contractor who said grout was not properly mixed. BTW, I did not chose the tiles and designer " assured" me it will look pretty. 3. Contractor -Don - did everything by himself including plumbing and electric. It turned out that shower cartridge was broken and I was told I have problem with my water heater. I had to call my plumber - pay my plumber- and reliance to learn nothing wrong with my water heater. Don just did not know how to properly instal it. There was no padding in the sink faucet. Don fixed twice but could not locate the leak so finally plumber had to show him were to look for a leak. I was told by Don this is a condensation problem, and there was no leak, 4. Tub had so many issues the water leaked to my sitting room - Don blamed my kids splashing water and I was told by "designer" to teach my kids how to use it because this is not a swimming pool. Turned out that there was no padding were the drain is and the shower wand was leaking under the tub. Not to mentioned I had a drain exposed on the side of the tub because tiles were not properly cut. Took me 3 months to made them to cover it by moving tub by two cm. They finally did it after hearing about court. Btw. They were not planning to fixed my sitting room ceiling because they said my white is already a bit dirty and it will be very hard to much white colour. I thought you suppose to paint the whole ceiling if your poor workmanship damaged it. 5. Lastly mirror. Not only was replaced 3 times- first was put on silicone with crack, second was not my mirror which was not put straight but again I was told that the mirror was put correct, according to grout and grout is not straight. (if my grout is not straight, then tiles are also not straight, that in means my walls are also not straight, so this probably means my home is not straight. what a joke!!)With the 4th mirror they had to create "designer illusion" because contractor Don put the lights not symmetrical. One is 11 cm from mirror and the second one is 14 cm from the mirror. 6. During covid and lockdown there were 5 "experts" in my bathroom looking for mistakes (plumber, helper of plumber, contractor, designer, coordinator). when i said to them 5 is too many people during pandemia they blamed me that i did not allowed contractor to fix mistakes, i did not allowed him to be in the house. 7. During visit in my place, they took out other house project and designer with plumber discussed it in front of me. So professional!!!!

We worked with Pure Elements on the renovation of two bathrooms, our master ensuite and main bath (renovating both at the same time!). We had no idea where to start and they took care of everything from the layout, budget, material choices and coordination of a whole team of suppliers and contractors. They presented options but didn’t overwhelm us. The entire process was easy, stress free and most importantly fun! Pure Elements makes it look effortless but that is probably because they are so good at it. We admire their attention to detail, high standards and professionalism. We have contracted with Pure Elements of Design for renos in two houses. The first instance was for a bathroom reno in our townhouse. The designers, Carmen and Armand were more than helpful in assessing the space, changes requested and making recommendations. They asked many questions about our wishes and how they could be accommodated or wisely revised to ensure success. The work was done very quickly by their contractor. We had our bathroom back within less than one week! We have since moved into a condo apartment which desperately needed updating in the kitchen, two full bathrooms along with closet space. We again turned to Pure Elements of Design. The designers came in during the pandemic fully cognizant of all safety precautions. They spent time with us to assess our wishes for the reno. Again, they made recommendations, adjusted our expectations where needed to ensure the best outcome possible. They took time to draft up drawings, bring in samples of finishes for us to choose from which was very much appreciated during the pandemic. The exception was for bathroom fixtures, where they accompanied us to the supplier showroom. Full pandemic protocols were in place. Their contractor was very efficient to reno two full bathrooms, kitchen counter and backsplash, update closet space and completely replace all doors along with removing glass partitions to a sunroom which opened up the living space. To top things off, Carmen and Armand made recommendations on paint choices which we loved. Carmen and Armand didn’t disappear after their initial planning work was completed, but they made appointments to come and assess the work in progress. This gave us a comfort level that should there be a “glitch”, they were fully accessible. I cannot express how much their experienced guidance and expertise were invaluable to the success of this massive project which took approx. four weeks in total. I highly recommend Pure Elements of Design and would definitely use them again.

Pure Elements of Design assisted me in 3 major renovations in my home over the past 5 years along with installing tile flooring in my front hall. The 3 bathrooms including the mudroom turned out wonderful with the workmanship exceptional. The owners of Pure Elements of Design are very professional, responsive and provide excellent after service. I have complete confidence with this company as they have an extensive connections with quality suppliers and contractors. The recommendations made by the designers are practical with great efforts to stay within the budget suggested to them. The projects have been completed on time and the communication throughout the project was excellent. I truly did not worry about any aspect of these projects as I trusted this company in providing me with the end result I envisioned. We had a vision of what we wanted in an office space, Bulger, Young law office, and not only did Armand and Carm deliver, they exceeded our expectations. They were constantly on site and worked with our contractors on a regular basis. They were always available to us no matter what the hour. They found office furniture, helped with the selection, and took care of the delivery and construction of it. It was turn key to us. We couldn’t have asked for a more efficient or better organized office space than what Armand and Carm designed for us. We continuously receive compliments about it. They were there when we wanted other additions to the space and took the stress of having to search, order, and construct what we wanted. We will and have recommended Carm and Armand to many who have remarked on our beautiful space. It is a pleasure to all who enter the office and for staff and owners to work in.
