Donna and her team have renovated 2 complete homes for me from top to bottom. The results have been outstanding. There are always issues and delays on projects like these and they were handled promptly and efficiently.

Sept 4 2019 - ....this update is long overdue which I apologize for, I meant to come back after our project was completed, an oversight on my part -and reminded when I reached out to engage Bliss in another project, something I wouldn't do had I not been happy. Our end result was a beautiful bathroom and living space that we enjoy everyday, the quality of work was never an issue. If you want a great end result, and can accept that sometimes schedules can prolong things, they really are great to work with. I would certainly come back for our next project and hope to work with this team again, and have referred them to friends. Original post. We had a fairly easy project that was originally planned for about 3 to 4 weeks, we are approaching week 12. The quality of the project for the most part has been really good...when they show up. We are also having a huge struggle getting it finished with only 3 small tasks to complete. Response and attentiveness is hit and miss. Cheryl who manages the email is helpful. I understand that this industry is really busy right now given people are renovating as opposed to buying, and as a project manager in my own work, I know dates slip but you have to do a better job communicating delays and why, and level setting expectations, if the guys you source out to are causing such an issue and your clients are getting frustrated, that will eventually catch up with you so either find new guys or more. We had planned on doing a new kitchen and full basement projects with this team because where they are good, they are really good... but at this point, the frustrations are starting to outweigh the good. I'm not very positive we would come back.

We hired Bliss to update our kitchen. The results were great but getting the project done was very frustrating. The work began on Nov 2 and was to be completed the following week ready for the countertop template. The drywall people took 2 and a half weeks to demo the original bulkhead and make good the ceiling and adjacent walls and have ready for paint. The drywall people stalled the entire project and our small kitchen was not completed until the 16th of December. Far too long for this small kitchen but like I said the results were very nice.

You would think that there would be speedy service during covid. Especially when it comes to quotes. 1 month waiting for a quote since late August. Unprofessional. There is no excuse to have to wait 1 month for information. They barley pick up their business line. And the miscommunication between staff is ridiculous.

I just had my kitchen cabinets refinished. I can't believe what a beautiful finish. They where brand new. Not a flaw. I would without a doubt recommend bliss.

Started a main floor project with Bliss in May and took them until October to potentially try and finish it. Lots of errors on their part, and lots of careless work done. We had them take a wall out that contained some duct work. Instead of saying hey this is going to disrupt the air flow/balance in the house and let’s only go so far, I have to hear it form the inspector. By this time a beam was in place so they couldn't put it back and had to put the duct work elsewhere with a huge build out on the main floor and their contractor told me don't worry that he will take it down and the inspector doesn't know what he's talking about and that their hvac guy (who said this is ok) does. They cut the hvac line to what they thought was a small section in the basement and ended up cutting off the heat run to my daughter’s room. Their contractor came back to look at it and told me that I should fix it myself as I am handy. He initially refused to fix it until again I complained to Donna. Sloppy drywall work, they can’t make edges on the wall or parts of the ceiling line up properly. Then their mud and tape person had to be the sloppiest person I had ever seen. Drywall mud on the blinds, on the walls and on the windows. Did they clean it off, NO. Also paint drips marks all over the place. Our electrician asked the person to fix a hole in the drywall ceiling (that they hung and cut out) for the electrical box as it was too big and the light trim wouldn't cover it. He shouted at him to not tell him what to do. Other spots where they put new drywall also needed to be fixed and he told me he will bill me for all this extra work. Drywall ceiling in the basement had to be opened up for the plumbers and they again couldn't fix it right the first time. They repaired the drywall but didn't sand it down, so again had to have them come back and fix it. I have had other drywall contractors do work in my garage which is partially finished and didn’t make a mess and did a better quality job. They chipped 4 of our kitchen tiles while we were away for a few days and didn’t bother to say sorry we did this, but we will fix it. Instead I have to complain as to why I wasn’t told about this before they would fix it. In the process they chipped another tile elsewhere (tools fell??) and still haven’t fixed that. Couldn’t get the hardwood floor and tile to look nice. One tile still looks out of place. They couldn’t get the backsplash feature done correctly (looked hideous as the colors were completely off on a edge feature) and told us that it’s the suppliers fault as they just put on what they get, and initially wanted to charge me for extra pieces when they didn't make it look right in the first place. For each thing they did wrong it probably took 3 tries for them to try and fix it. We had lots of other things we wanted them to do (carpet on stairs, new flooring in and paint bedrooms as well as fix up the washrooms. Those we are now going elsewhere for.

Donna and the Team at Bliss Home Innovations are amazing! I first became aware of this team's spectacular work through neighbours who had their main floor as well as their entire second floor renovated. The transformation was unbelievable! I obtained Donna's contact information and she agreed to met with me right away. At the time we had just had our offer for our first home accepted and we we were organizing our two visits prior to closing. Donna attended the first pre closing visit and I really felt like she listened to us and everything we had to say about all of our concerns and all the dreams we had for our home. She then invited us to her gorgeous show room where she helped us pick out possible materials and specifics for our renos! It was there at that meeting Donna presented us with not one or two but a few drawn professional plans for our home that were all different! Her show room was an awesome one stop shop for everything and really showcased Donna's talented eye for design and why this company is so successful. On the second and last pre closing visit Donna brought the plans and all the sample materials to my house to help me visualize the choices we had made together! The demo started the day after closing! We were thrilled with the timing. The entire experience from start to finish was 5 star! I especially enjoyed the way she and her team worked together and communicated throughout the entire process. The level of talent and professionalism I experienced with each and every single worker on this team was outstanding! Like any major project there are always unforeseen hiccups, but each was delt with in a timely and professional manner without me having to mention it or complain. This company consistently demonstrates excellence in custom service and if you are thinking about doing renovations of any kind we highly recommend you should call Donna and Bliss Home Innovations. We couldn't be happier with our end result and will be using Donna and Bliss for future renovations.

My wife and myself so enjoyed working with Donna Price at Bliss Home Innovations. To be able to have a "one stop shop" at her design centre was such a pleasure. She helped us pick all of our colours, counter tops, flooring, paint colour and handles and accessories. We were so tired of running all over town trying to do it on our own. Donna is so professional and really knows her "stuff" - We highly recommend Bliss Home Innovations - Donna goes the extra mile to make sure we were happy and looked after. She also deals in quality which we loved. She is trustworthy and so patient. I have to say it was such a great experience.
