Incredibly rude staff, will never be shopping there. Went in hoping to purchase a custom sofa and the staff did not even say hi to us. They continued making comments about us walking the wrong way in the store, instead of simply telling us where the arrows are. We will be buying our sofa else where.

Well I guess from reading other reviews that nothing has changed !! I entered your store to enjoy a nice browse and was greeted immediately with follow the footprints. Not a hello how are you but a command. As a frontline worker I’m well aware of the need but it is a little intense. There was no one else in the store. Instead of defending this rude behaviour on several other emails maybe you should do some gentle coaching with your staff. I also asked for assistance with an item and was told the measurements should be on the tag. Like really I would not of asked if it was on the tag. Sorry to bother anyone I won’t be back !!!

Terrible! Tried to return wallpaper in original packaging for credit and they refused. Many many places in Collingwood will let you being home something form a design project and give you a chance to see if it fits. Not this place, stay away.

We were visiting Collingwood today and stopped into this store. I had a few items picked out and wanted to look around some more. I was told by the staff, I believe the owner, that you have 9 minutes and then we close. I was shocked to say the least. With stores just opening and people starting to venture out during Covid, you would think they would be happy to make a sale. I should have left the store at that point, but we drove 3 hours to get there. I will return to Collingwood, but never to that store.

BUYER BEWARE! Horrendous customer service from the staff at this store and especially the owner! Rude, dismissive and argumentative is how I would describe our experience with the staff post-sale with At Home Decor. Since we live an hour away from the store we purchased the light over the phone (in good faith that this is an upstanding business) to secure the product until we could return on a weekend to pick it up in person. Only once we had a chance to bring the ceiling light home and attempt to install it did we notice that it had a lengthy rope component which was not part of the display in store. Unable to make it work for its intended purpose in our home we then began the process of trying to return the product (within the seemingly discretionary 7/10/14 day return window - wholly dependant on the owner’s mood at the time) by calling the store. I spoke on the phone with two separate staff members - that had confirmed with the owner then and there - that we could return it that coming Saturday. Living about an hour away a personal friend (with whom I work) who lives in Collingwood offered to make the return on our behalf. When he arrived he was stonewalled and denied the return. When we finally managed to reach the owner again she continued to argue with us that the product was final sale (reneging on her word) although it was not labeled as such, nor was that communicated to us at time of pick up or on the phone when I made the purchase. Her final words before hanging up on us were to the affect of, “If I do this for you then I’ll have to do it for everybody!” An unbelievably poor experience with this business and I would caution EVERYBODY to look far and wide for your home decor before ever dealing with this store. As a digital marketing and sales manager at Western Canada’s premier CBG franchise here’s a lesson for all businesses in the digital age: 1) The customer always comes first. 2) Transparency is the key to a successful sale. 3) Your digital presence is your reputation in your community. 4) Under promise and over deliver. Best of luck!
