A great boutique furniture store in the North End of Halifax. We used them for our guest suite furniture and get compliments everyday. The owner and designer are very patient and can work with any budget. The customer service was excellent and we would highly recommend them to our tenants and everyone else. The Dawson flip sectional is the perfect apartment size luxury sectional at an affordable price! The J ????

Good place with quality furniture if you have super deep pockets. All store employees were preoccupied and seemed not bothered about someone walking in. Except for one guy who was kind and sweet enough to show me around the store with a lot of patience. This store needs more people like him.

Great products, prices a little steep. We have been in for a visit a handful of times in the past few years and regularly the staff are disengaged or preoccupied. With the exception of Brian, we have met him a few times and has been super helpful, approachable and down to earth. Not just Attica, but more shops need more people like Brian within their establishment.

As the other 1 star review states: I was treated EXACTLY the same way. I'm 39 but dress casually and look young for my age. I went in to the store today with a good budget to spend on gifts there (trying to stay local and out of the mall). NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON WORKING said hello or even looked at me. I wandered around the WHOLE STORE and not one staff member acknowledged that I was in the store at all! I'm disgusted. But the sales man was all over an older couple who didn't even seem interested lol. And to top it off I lost my favorite touque there and won't go back to even get that. Thanks for the holiday cheer, employees. Good store if you're old and white

Despite reputation for being expensive, there is actually a wide range of price points. Scored a leather Canadian-made sofa on sale at a very reasonable cost. The staff were friendly and helpful. Shout out to Christine and her coworker who helped us pick up our couch yesterday.

I made an online order and this store decided to cancel it and not honour their online promotions. I would never do business with them ever again and do not recommend any one else does either. These types of business practices are not professional and I hope they reconsider the way they advertise and operate.

Great products, great prices and a beautiful showroom, makes Attica a great place in Halifax for any furniture needs. I bought many beautiful items for our business, and I am so happy that we did. Love all the pieces and Suzanne is also a great designer and support behind the scene. We will be back for sure.

I've been shopping there off and on since they first opened on Granville Street. I love their new spot on Robie, though, it shows everything off so well Over the years we've bought a beautiful dining room table set and sideboard, leather sofas, storage items and various odds and ends. It is a great place to browse through looking for inspiration. What has always struck me is, when you are looking for something specific that they don't have in their showroom, they will really dig in and help you delve through their many catalogues to put together the look you want and then order it for you. They also do custom work and Christopher Joyce is a real artist in combining wood, metal and other materials to create one-of-a-kind installations (many are featured in the showroom). This adds a dimension that no other home furnishings store in Halifax can match.

Was looking for a new kitchen table. Looked at a ton of tables. Came back to Attica. Great looking furniture. Shipwrecked chairs and a lava recycled concrete table. I believe the quality is superior to the box stores, hands down. If you want quality and a forever furniture then go here. Was a bit pricey however, quality is equal to the price. Sales folks were super nice, helpful and not pushy, good balance. I would buy from Attica again. Five star.

I went into Attica today with the intention of purchasing a rug. I had done my research before hand and was aware of the cost. None of the sales associates tried to engage with me or help me find what I was looking for. I am a young person in my mid 20s and I don’t think they took me seriously. They all stood up at the front chatting amongst themselves and didn’t even look my way. I stood at the cash for a few moments hoping this would get their attention but I gave up after a few minutes and left. Pretty upsetting that they wouldn’t even give me the time of day. I’m disappointed as I wanted to support a local shop with my purchase and their products are beautiful, but needless to say, I left without a rug.

Five years ago i purchased a 12' by 14' wool rug from Attica. It was very expensive. From day one I complained about the fibers which were loose. I was told to clean it more. I had it professionally cleaned (also very expensive) and even purchased a fine vaccuum cleaner to clean it daily. The fibers, after all this time, continue to be everywhere, on the furniture, on my clothes. It is not nice to sit in that room. I wish Attica would just bring a truck and take it away. I would put it on the street but my husband and I are in our 70's and not strong enough to move it. It would have been nice if Attica had taken some responsibility for selling us a defective product.
