It had been over 7 months since Dochia started my project in March 2019, today is Nov 4th 2019. We contracted with Dochia on Package B with a fixed price and scope that defined in the contract. The scope was never changed. We has not got the drawings delivered and signed off that can be used for the construction. We had paid 7/8 of the full amount of the contract, and we had started plumbing and back framing. The design is still not there. ( The interior design drawings are critical for the stage of plumbing and back framing ) We complained about the quality and the delay, Dochia disagreed and stopped the service today. Dochia suggested us to find other designer and Dochia will transfer the design to other designer. Dochia did not indicate weather or not there was a fee for the transfer. Dochia kept saying that they had unbilled hours when the package B is not completed. Client never asked any extra work other than the scope of package B. Not sure how the designer can intend to bill client extra hours without notice in advance.
