We worked with Cynthia for over a year on the design, build and furnishing of our cottage/retirement home. It was a complex project working with an architect, our contractor and sometimes conflicting wants between my husband and I. Cynthia made the project feel almost seamless with exceptional communication, attention to detail and a constant willingness to go the extra distance. For us, the biggest gift Cynthia brought was being able to listen to a bunch of half baked ideas and synthesizing them into what we could barely imagine. The final project is beautiful beyond our wildest dreams. It is our taste, not hers, but taste we never knew we had until she brought it to life. Cynthia is brilliantly creative, a great listener, well connected to sources and a thorough professional.

I have known Cynthia for many years and won't use anyone else for any design projects for my home. She has designed my front yard landscaping, my backyard patio, my bathroom, my den and window treatments in my living room and kitchen. I regret decisions I made prior to using Cynthia and regularly joke with her that I used to think I had good taste until I started using her services! The most notable project Cynthia did for me was my home office when I gave up my corporate career for my own business. She created a work space in my home which I LOVE working in. It makes a huge difference to productivity when you like being in your work space. Cynthia knows how to introduce unique, colourful designs. She works within your budget and existing pieces to create a beautiful home that you will enjoy being in. I love entertaining and my friends regularly remark on the work Cynthia has done. I have no hesitation in recommending her and many of my friends have or will be using her. Cynthia has great ideas and working with her is easy. The sub-contractors she uses are all polite, hard working, and trustworthy. She is conscientious and cares about her clients and the end product. She will give you options and choices, but my recommendation is to sit back, relax and let her run with it!

Cynthia Ferguson is the worst designer I have ever used. She is very fragmented and doesn't follow through. We have had to do many repairs and re-upholster our sofa. Very disappointing and very expensive.
