Working with Alex and his team was an absolute pleasure. From the very first meeting, Alex listened well, was up front and very easy to deal with. He was flexible and accommodated my wishes kindly. The contractors that Alex provided delivered high quality workmanship. I want to give a shout out to Sandro and his team who took care of building the retaining walls, all the interlocking work and laying the coping tiles on the porch. All the stone work that he and his team did is really beautiful. Another call out goes to Paul for the deck lighting - it looks great. Ihab must be commended for the really efficient and professional irrigation and sodding. From installing meters and connecting to our existing system, he took the time to make sure everything worked perfectly. In addition, he was obliging and helpful. Alex ensured that the work was done in a timely manner, meeting promised deadlines and communicating with me throughout so that I always knew who was coming and when. The site was always left neatly stacked at the end of the work day. Alex was very present. He checked in on the site daily to ensure that all work was going according to plan - and it did. We are thrilled with the job and all the neighbours passing by remark on the excellent job. Thank you Alex and your Captain Handy team. I am very happy that I chose you for this project. I give you a 10 even though there are only 5 stars to give!

This company has been in business for 2 years, the owner will claim he has been in business for 8 years, all the reviews are fake, I did the work for this company and the names of the home owners don't match the names of the account for the reviews, he pays people to write reviews and uses other people's emails to write a review himself, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, I use to work for this company as a Forman and he even took my tools not trust worthy.

I can't say enough good things about Alex and Muki. They came to our rescue after I had to fire the contractor I initially hired for our bathroom (an all around horrible experience). A good chunk of work had already been done, but it had been done poorly with sloppy shortcuts taken everywhere. No matter for Captain Handy, though. They worked tirelessly from morning to night, including the weekend, to fix the previous contractor's mess and give me my bathroom back in a timely fashion. The bathroom now looks absolutely amazing, and their workmanship and professionalism instantly eased the anxiety and frustration I had been feeling up until that point. My only regret is not hiring them from the start, but these guys are now my go-to people for future work. Now do yourself a favour and stop spending any more time reading reviews and just call them up - you won't regret it at all.

My patio was just done by another company, and so I needed to finish the backyard with new sod and all the garden beds cleaned up. So, I reached out to Captain Handy, and let me tell you: Ihab and his team was phenomenal. It was a rainy day with only and off showers, but the team pressed on until completion! My backyard is now completely transformed, and not only that, the team went above and beyond to get my front lawn patched up with the left over sod (completely damaged from from the previous patio team).
