Level One Construction Ltd and myself, have used Cara on many, many, projects. I could not be happier with her suggestions even when I doubt the end result, I am constantly surprised at how a project turns out. I leave it to the expert (Cara) and she has not failed my expectations, either with my company projects or my personal flips. Cara I have to say you are amazing and talented and I don't pay compliments easy. Looking forward to the next flip! If you want a professional to create a professional project I cannot recommend Cara enough. Personality, exceptional talent and work ethic goes a long way!

We have just moved into our condo which recently completed its complete renovation. We were extremely fortunate to have Cara as our designer. She was very careful to spend a lot of time initially trying to understand our tastes and preferences (not easy!). She then prepared a variety of general suggestions of options for us all to discuss. We were able to refine our thoughts and moved forward to receiving very detailed plans and specifications. We could make changes before finalising our plans and submitting them for work to be undertaken by the contractors. We are delighted with the results - a complete transformation of a once awful space. Cara was always available for any questions and oversaw the work while we were away and kept us updated on progress. Overall we could not praise Cara's work highly enough - and added to everything she was a delight to interact with and became a real friend.

She understands that not all projects will be entered in a magazine and that's there's more to it than getting on the front cover of a magazine. Our family had done our first renovation in Vancouver for a 37 years old townhouse floor to ceiling throughout our house. We highly recommend Cara's service before starting your renovation. While in selection of contractor, more than one contractor told us to hire a designer for our project, we were in doubt in the beginning until we met Cara Hansen of Triple Dot. Cara were recommended by our contractor Level One. People are focus to find a good contractor but in our experience, a good designer is a starting point of a renovation. In our first contact with Cara, she told us she can give us a free consultation. We met Cara in our first meeting, she arrived on time and well prepared of her presentation about her role in our project. Cara is patient, easy communicate and listen from the client. We walked through our house with Cara and told her our wish list in our project. After listened our goal, Cara provided thoughtful feedback according to our needs and provided alternative during planning and designing. Her talents were performed during material selection, she picked all materials toward the theme, budget control and our needs. During renovation in the difficult period of COVID in February to May. Cara continue to work with our contractor, follow up any questions about her design and give instructions to the contractor to fully utilize the material to upgrade the areas where it can apply. At the end of the project, Cara provided windows covering and furnitures selection to our family. We are happy with it turn out, hope you are the next one.

Cara is an incredible designer and invaluable in realizing the design of my 20+ year old 1 bedroom condo full renovation (incl. custom cabinetry - media cabinet in the living room, bedroom closets, kitchen & bathroom). And by working with Level One Construction throughout the 3.5 month renovation period, she ensured the outcome met and exceeded my expectations. I loved her process of asking me to provide inspiration photos of design and products I liked; and in our meetings during the design phase she sought my input and knew when to gently push me out of my comfort zone so that we ended up with exactly what I needed. Cara’s design was better than anything I could conceive or imagine. My friends paid her the highest compliment when they told me “my home now truly reflects me”.

Cara is the best designer we could have. She knows how to transform our home to a piece of Heaven. She used the space in a very clever way without any waste. She is friendly and open minded, always smiling. She is highly passionate and devoted to her work, and the results speak for themself. It's beautiful. She followed our budget and even if we liked a luxurious type of design, she did her best to find something similar more affordable. She designed our entire flat : living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. For now only 1 bedroom, the kitchen and living room have been done so far and we love it !!! We can't wait seeing the master bedroom and bathroom. I highly recommend her, she is incredible.

I had Cara from Triple Dot Design Studio provide all of the design and quality control for our 3-story townhouse reno after a water leak forced us to make some decisions back in March 2020 when the pandemic was just starting up. I did a lot of research and spoke to 3 reputable designers in the Vancouver area, all who’ve won awards for their work, and I ended up going with Cara since she was the easiest to discuss things with, and I really loved the photos I saw of her past work. 11 months later during pandemic times, we’re at the very tail end of our reno where we can appreciate the beauty of what we’ve got. Cara has an incredible ability to understand our wants, and her process in translating those to something that can be built is very impressive and a pleasure to be a part of. I can’t think back to a single decision that required more than 3 sets of options before she’s absolutely nailed what we were looking for. Now that we can actually see the end result, I’m happy to say she’s surpassed my expectations and really has transformed our kitchen and home into something incredibly functional and beautiful, beyond what I had dreamt up in my head, even after reviewing her drawings and renderings of the kitchen. In the end, all of the decisions were ours, but Cara kept us within the guard rails to ensure we’d have a cohesive end result. We ended up with a complete overhaul of the bottom floor where the kitchen, dining and living space is, and up on the 2nd floor we updated 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a hallway. Anyone who walks into our place is blown away by the transformation and how open it looks compared to how it was. We’ve had 2 people literally tell us “how is this possible?”. My advice to anyone considering doing a major renovation is to hire a good designer. If you like what you see on Triple Dot’s website, take my advice and see if Cara can pencil you in for a consultation. One of the best decisions I had ever made.

From the moment we started working together, Cara was extremely friendly, responsive and attentive. Her attention to detail is exceptional, and she exhibited the highest level of professionalism in every communication and interaction.
