FINALLY!!! My world has been unsettled for too long. (In March 2020 my last road trip before the shutdown included FL stores in SE Ontario.) I posted this to our huge vaccine-finding group on FB. Someone commented, "If we all could find something to be as joyful about as you are about Fabricland, the world would be a much nicer place. ☺️"

This place enforces a strict mandated mask policy regardless of medical exemption. They will literally barr you from entering the building!! Do not shop here. Please shop somewhere where they ACTUALLY know the by-laws and how to follow them. This place is forever lost!

Great selection for such a small city, but they don't have swatches available for feeling the fabric without everyone needing to touch the actual bolt. It's definitely worth going if you're not terribly particular with what you're getting, because they only really specialize in fabric, so selections of other things are there, but kind of basic in most cases. For example, they only had three sizes of thimbles to choose from, and while they do have alot of random tapes, ribbon, etc, they dont have alot of variety in terms of simple woven tapes etc. A great place for machine sewing, and an okay place for hand sewing. Oh, and a map would be super cool. The place is packed with lovely stuff, but it's kinda hard to find stuff.

Place was okay but felt severely unorganized. (They may have been doing inventory at the time, I'm not sure.) The big issue I had was being completely ignored by staff. When I finally picked some material and brought it up to be cut, I was again ignored for a few minutes, standing there looking like a a confused clown. Finally, the person at cash pointed out to a co-worker that I surprisingly wasn't standing there just to look good, but in fact, wanted to purchase some fabric! Overall, it was good, but strange!

Fabricland can sometimes be hit or miss when it comes to selection of fabric but they never failed to provide help. prices can be quite high at times but if you wait for sales you can always get top quality fabric for bottom of basement prices.

Great choices in fabric, clean and great environment for shopping..could use more spandex material, other the that yes parking could be better for most downtown be prepared,.the older ladies are not very happy with what they are doing, not sure why they are there..quite hateful really..Spent 90 something there that time and she measured wrong too..I love my elderly so it's not that, it's the attitude..Management please put in a complaint box for names to be put in, so you can know who, and where the unpleasantness comes from..
