It started with an idea of what I was looking for and then bombarding Julia with photos of styles, first wing chairs, then accent chairs, and finally dining chairs. Have been searching for a sectional sofa and found Critelli's through the Barrymore website. So happy i contacted them, they were priced the best for this particular sectional we were looking at but i can tell you that they have some of the best customer service i have had at a store level. They helped me pick the fabrics and take several samples home to figure out which is the best suited for our living space. They were helpful in answering all my questions and concerns and guided me through my indecisive decisions. Misette is my main contact and also worked with Dina and both have been awesome to work with. We had over the years, purchased some furniture and household items from Critelli's, and we were now faced with having to replace furniture and finishing items for our entire home. We were to say the least, traumatized, overwhelmed and without a clear notion of where or how to start the process. Upon hearing of our tragedy in the newspaper, Misette took it upon herself to contact us directly and insisted that Critelli's and Transitions by Critelli would do everything possible to assist us and ensure that our new house to be built, would once again become our home. Not only did they find us those key pieces, they went above and beyond to source all of the furniture for our entire home. In the process during construction, one of their designers, Melanie even paid a personal visit to our home to ensure that each item chosen reflected not only our personal style, but also evoked the right emotional response in order for us to begin to heal. She spent countless hours with us, offering advice, and more importantly, patiently listened to us speak of our plans for our new home. The staff were always prepared to offer helpful suggestions, while being respectful and sensitive to our feelings of loss and the conflicting emotions that such an experience evokes. While we would never wish to experience such a tragedy again, this experience blessed us with friendships with the Critelli family and staff which will remain for many years to come. We will be forever grateful to Critelli's and their staff family for everything they have done for us. Transitions New Lifestyle Furniture by Critelli is a fabulous shopping mecca. Our “relationship” began when we found the perfect sofa for our new residence – it had all the features we wanted. Joe helped us complete a purchase we had originally initiated with Barrymore Furniture. After Barrymore went bankrupt, we would have lost our deposit and not been able to complete the purchase, if Joe hadn’t stepped in. He was able to negotiate an equitable arrangement with the manufacturer, Stressless, and together they were able to fulfill our order and turn a bad situation into a positive experience. His delivery folks made the trek from St Catharines to Collingwood and we had our chairs within weeks of first speaking to him. Many thanks to Joe and his team. I bought a complete set of dining and kitchen table and chairs worth almost eight thousand dollars.After 2 years the leather of the kitchen chairs are cracking. I call them and send them the pictures of the four chairs. They told me I bought a chairs mada from China. The sales lady never told me that the leather chairs are made in China ????????. Now I end up having a four chairs of garbage. The sad thing about this there is no label that is made in China they remove the label.They are not honest to the customer. I will not recommend this critellis company.

My boyfriend and I recently purchased a couch from Critelli’s furniture. Our experience from beginning to end was beyond expectation. Prior to visiting the store, I had talked with Julia about the style of couch we were looking for and how much we wanted to spend. Upon arriving at the store, Julia had already arranged options for us to look at. We had LOVED what she had picked out. We also loved that we were able to customize the fabric and colour of the couch, and again Julia was very insightful about what would look best given our style and colour scheme. Our delivery was estimated to be 8 weeks, however it had arrived within 5-6 weeks! Critelli’s had notified us (the lady who called was very polite and professional - though I don’t know her name) and were able to set up a delivery within 2-3 business days. Today I received a call from Misette Critelli to update me on the current circumstances at the store since the provincial lockdown was enacted. We had ordered a Stickley writing desk and chair to match the other furniture we had purchased from the store to decorate our second floor.
