I would not recommend attending this school. They are narrow minded, do not encourage new ideas and reinforce archaic values.

Currently attending. In general it's a really amazing experience. Feels disorganized at times, but overall pretty great. Amazing staff

Very few good teachers. I recall teachers saying inappropriate things to me on more than one occasion. Guidance counselor being useless, head of the place being unaware and oblivious. You're better off saving your money and watching youtube tutorials because honestly it isn't worth the $$$$

Creative and inspiring, I'm a floor tech at the best college ever! My favorite place too work at, just simply the best of a little slice of life.

I've had an amazing 4 years here at NBCCD! The instructors and staff ensure that it is an inclusive and drama free environment. Everyone is so friendly and inspiring. If I was ever in a creative block, all I had to do was walk through the halls and admire all the amazing work hanging, or go visit friends working in other studios. I would highly recommend anyone interested in the Arts or Craft to come here!

The Foundation Visual Arts program was a wonderful learning experience, filling in all kinds of holes in my knowledge, exposing me to new explorations. As a mature student and experienced craftsperson, I felt accepted and challenged at the college – attending was the best gift I’ve given myself in a long time. The Advanced Studio Practice program then gave me tools to launch my practice as a professional. So worthwhile.

I'm a student here and I couldn't be happier at a college. 5/5

Karen Brown

Would have been nice to know ahead of time that only students could come into shop. I drove over an hour one way to get yarns. There was no other customers in the building when I arrived. So it would seem just the students don't contract Covid?? Ridiculous rule!
