Not recommended. Drove all the way from Oakville as elderly gentleman gave assurances of great service , prices, and great material. Once got there was totally ignored as he was talking to clients. Waited and introduced myself but was paid no attention and referred to 2 guys his installers to deal with. These guys spoke very little English and were like vultures wanting business and after speaking to both separately got different facts about material. Total sham....

I bought hardwood flooring from Canadian Flooring for $2.99. It was a decent quality (not perfect as I expected). Owner is quite strait forward person - doesn’t promise what is not true. He directly tells the truth. Does not mislead customers, of course he doesn’t accept returns since he explained that $2.99 price sales are either a custom-made color order or final sale. Obviously when purchasing at half price there is no return. This is the only store that offers the option to inspect all materials before pickup. I was very happy with flooring material and very professional service. I will recommend Canadian Flooring to my relatives and friends.

A few years ago, we purchased flooring for the main floor and upper floor of our house. The quality of the engineered hardwood was exceptional. Finding a Canadian made floor at our price point was difficult but Canadian Flooring had a variety of floors at a very reasonable price! Great Prices. I was offered crazy cheep imported hardwood to still unbelievably cheep Made in Canada Select and Better product lines. Canadian Flooring gave me the pro's and con's of each product at each price point. I choose the latter and was able to meet my renovation budget without having to sacrifice the quality of the materials used. Canadian Flooring's Select and better Made in Canada product line was priced almost at par with other major GTA hardwood vendors lowest quality lines. SO bottom line, if you are looking to save some money on your material costs, give these guys a call to make sure you are not overpaying elsewhere.

We called in today (March 25) only to be told that the shipment has been delayed till mid of April. I wouldn't have known it have we not called. Irresponsible owner. I made the mistake of entering this place of business today and would like to share my experience. An elderly gentleman was at the counter and I approached him and said " hi I need some flooring.. laminate hardwood," His immediate cold response was " I don't do installation!". I was baffled since that was not what I mentioned so I added " no, I have my measurements can you tell me roughly how much I would need and the cost?" He flashed his hand in a dismissing manner ( you know when someone is like 'shoo') and said "You go do it yourself" and proceeded to ignore me as if I wasn't there. I have never felt so humiliated but being a black person who experiences racism I knew the feeling all too well. Needless to say I left. I went to the Home Depot just East of this place where they treated me like a human being and helped me to narrow down my needs to 18 boxes at a cost of 590 (pre-tax). Canadian Flooring lost out on my business and money. I hope that no one else ever has to experience the lack of respect and service that I had today, I would also advise others not to support a business that would treat someone this way. Even one star is too high a rating for that place..

Great experience, I can definitely recommend this place. I've visited few stores including HomeDepot nearby, this place has huge selection for any budget and the prices are very reasonable. What I also liked - there was absolutely no pressure from the sales person, no hidden fees (some stores may charge restocking fee when you return unused boxes). I had a couple of extra boxes left, returned them with no problem at all. Can't really find anything to complain about :)

I went to Canadian Flooring about 2 hrs ago. As with Mel C.'s review, I also had a bad experience and I felt sorry for entering this store. I was very humiliated with the treatment that they showed me. When I entered at the door, a gentleman approached me and asked what I need. At the beginning of our conversation, I asked information about specific hardwood (hand sraped). He answered "whatever you want". Every time I asked him information about hardwood, he answered whatever you want. I found out that he was there soliciting because he is an installer only. And he was trying to get me to do the installation. I asked if he does a free estimate. He said $45.00 to come and measure the house but will be applied towards the labour cost. When I declined then another older man came and asked what do I need and when do I need them but his approach was very rude right away. When I said I want that wood, he took the display and said it's better to put it on the floor to see how it looks, then he bang it on the floor, then he asked when do I need it. I did not answer right away because I don't like the rudeness. Then he screamed "ESTIMATED DATE!!!". I answered "I don't need anything, you are very rude" then I walked out. When I was in my car, he came outside and knocked my window, I rolled down a bit and in a very low tone he asked "What do you want? and his face looked like he was apologizing. I said "don't scream at me like that in front of other customers. Is it because I declined the installer that's why he treated me that way? I told him I am going to write a review about my experience with this store. I never wrote a review before but I thought I have the obligation to do this time. It doesn't worth the price even if they are cheaper. If he is a sales person NOT OWNER, then this must be a wake up call to the owner.

This was our 1st attempt at installing hardwood floors. We found Yuri to be very helpful and knowledgeable. We went there on a Saturday and even though it was quite busy he took the time to show us our options. He was helpful when we were worried we might be short and gave us the same price as the bulk purchase. In the end we did not need those extra boxes and he was kind enough to accept them back and credit us. His response time via email was quick.
