I was at Yorkdale Mall tonight and I wasn't surprised to see that the anthropology store has permanently closed. I stopped shopping at Anthropologie when they discontinued their petite line in Ontario. The petite section at Don Mills is now a mini flea market with a ridiculous array of dishes and odds and ends. Bye bye Anthro.

Great clothing store with a large variety of clothing. Very clean and in a great location. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. I like the personal touches thought the store and the bench in front. It seems to be the place everyone wants to take selfie pics. Way to draw in the customers!

If you are looking for something unique to wear, you will find it at Anthropology. Whether you are petite to plus size, there is always something beautiful you will find. Highly recommended.

Helios Rise

This Anthropologie location is massive. It is definitely one of the largest locations I have ever seen, both in the U.S. or Canada. They offer a huge selection of clothing and products. Their prices are on the higher end, which should come as no surprise if you are familiar with this brand, but the quality is absolutely worth the price. I recommend this location, especially if you are looking for a wide selection. My girlfriend always finds plenty to buy here.

I like most things about this place. The name. The look. The clothes they sell, the materials. The embroidery, the florals and prints I didn’t know I needed or appreciated. I now know I want a button down with zebras, which I can’t afford. I also realized I really liked embroidered blouses. All sorts of them and that I wanted to be an author who carries a canvas tote and wears a hat and a caftan and needs a sassy cat. But where’s the chair and the rest of the furniture I like on Instagram. I need more stuff so that I can please my eyes every time I come in and silently promise myself to win a lottery so that I can buy everything they make because Anthropologie is my style.

I have loved Anthropologie for many years and while I think the quality has slipped in some ways, the prices keep going up. That's the only reason I can't give 5 stars. Sometimes I'm willing to pay full price but only when it's a piece that seems to be made well.

Beautiful store and nicely merchandised, I come here just for the inspiration. This is an expensive store so don't expect any bargains here, even the sale rack is still pricey. They do have smaller "Knick Knack" items such as soaps, oils etc that are reasonably priced.

I had to write a review for this store as the customer service is exceptional. I had the pleasure of dealing with BELLA and she went above and beyond to help me get a dress. She was sooooo nice and accommodating. One of the managers Georgia is also someone with skills that shine. She took the time to take care of me in a pleasant manner and as a customer I appreciated this kind of service. It is so refreshing to have my faith restored in the business shopping experience. So much has changed especially with customer service but not with this store. They stay true to providing quality service and I am very grateful for that. BRAVO ANTHROPOLOGIE for a service well done. Great store and helpful staff. Clothing, jewellery and accessories are always beautiful. Parking makes it so you can't just "pop in" but ample parking in the garage or main parking lot north of the store. Prices could be a touch lower but if you are lucky and catch a sale with an extra percentage off markdowns, there are some sweet deals to be had!

Their customer service absolutely sucks. I was in the store last week. The sales staff told I could order two out of stock beauty products for pickup at their store. She handed me a card with their contact number and email. I sent an email a week ago, no reply. I have tried several times to get through to the store and the phone rings and rings forever. Nobody picks it up. What kind of customer service is that?

Hello, I am very disappointed as a first time customer and probably would not shop with you again. I tried to place the order online and the system was not working. I called the line and specified that I was calling from Canada and the person on the phone did not specify that they would charge in USD. I specified that I did not want shipping charges and asked the rep on the phone if any additional charges would be charged to which she replied I have sent an email as confirmation so you know that only $ 134.40 will be charged. The overall charge on my bank statement was $ 181.35 which is $46.95 over the price specified since your customer service rep is incompetent to advise the customer that this was USD. I am very disappointed in the service with both the calls that I made to the customer service as the reps spoke as if it was my problem and was not apologetic about what had happened. I even asked the rep to refund the money and stop the shipment. It is despicable the way your company does business. I have never submitted a bad review online but for the first time I will be giving your company a very bad review.

Generally nice workers except for one lady who just didn’t seem to want to speak. I complimented the bags and had no reply from her. Also when I needed money back she asked another worked to go get the change and said no apologies for the wait. When I was leaving the store I said “have a good day!” and had absolutely nothing said back to me. The whole time at cash she avoided speaking whatsoever.

Love the store and it can have a good sale selection in the back. If you couple it with a sale promotion it's worth the good deals. It just takes a bit of hunting sometimes and multiple visits.

Sales lady minding the door was tremendously rude. As social distancing rules are in place, I was waited in the line outside the store to go shop inside. Two customers left the store, so the woman/customer in line ahead of me went inside the store. Then, I went inside the store, and the sales lady (petite with long brown hair) told me to wait outside as there is a line! I told her that I waited outside already. I went back outside and waited, again. As another customer left the store, I went inside the store again. The rude sales lady told me to wait outside again, because she has to do a count of the customers in the store first before she lets me in. It was obvious to me that I should be let inside the store, as three separate customers already left the store while I was first in line, patiently waiting outside the store. This terrible sales lady minding the door should do her job properly and know how to count.

Omg havent been here in years and was SO delightfully surprised to walk in and see 1) They finally have a gorgeous Plus 14+ Section with many options 2) The Home Decor section literally makes me weak, I want one of everything it's all so beautiful and current! Will definitely be shopping here more now, just wish it was a tad less pricy.

I always go to check out Anthropology as I love the decor and the unique pieces that they sell. It's such a positive vibe when you go into the store and the staff is very helpful. After shopping at Anthropology I go for a stroll around Shops at Don Mills which makes my visit complete.
