we shopped around A LOT before coming here and found ourselves underwhelmed and uninspired by the big chain companies. We wanted our home to relflect us and not look like just another bland cookie cutter set up. We met with a couple of the staff and met the owner Sonya who was so knowledgeable and helpful. The store is exquisite and we ended up touring the show home too which gave us so many ideas. Everything is hand picked and unique and so beautiful. The entire process was made so easy and assembling our new home became a fun process instead of a stress fest. Massive thanks to all the staff that helped us furnish our new home. We love it and can’t recommend you guys enough!

She knows my taste and always sets aside beautiful pieces to choose from. Byron does a great job installing window coverings and hanging pictures as well. I want to thank the installer for doing a fabulous job in the resizing and installation of my my old blinds in my new addition. The installer was wonderful and provided some added help with rehanging a stain glass art piece in the window to better fit with the blind installation. I am very happy with the resizing of the old high quality binds.

Suffice to say a project of this size always comes with hurdles and headaches - however I can say that dealing with this company was an absolute breeze. They were incredibly knowledgeable and were able to help us completely furnish / finish our new renovation in no time.

I was very disappointed with my brief encounter with this company. Not only in the way that I felt I was dealt with over the phone, but I had selected the company because we had done business with them in the past, although more than 25 years ago. I called to get an appointment with a consultant at their store. I waited 3-4 days for a call back from one of their consultants to set up a meeting time. When I did not receive a call from the consultant I called the store. I spoke with someone who offered no apology for the lack of reply from the consultant. I did try to set up an appointment for 2 to 3 weeks in the future. I asked for a 5pm appointment. I felt that this business only wanted to accommodate me if I was able to come to the store no later than 4pm. Should people have to take time off work to get an estimate? As we continued the process to book an appointment I was not getting a good feeling from the person I was speaking with. At that point, I thought if I am feeling this way by just talking to someone on the phone, why would I want to do business with them. I told the person I was speaking with that it appeared that a 5pm appointment could not be accommodated so I was going to pass on getting an estimate from them.

Fabulous website; great shop with relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere; helpful accommodating staff; lots of ideas and a wide selection of inventory and suppliers to cater for all tastes and projects, large or small. From our experience the company obviously takes design, creativity and individual service very seriously.

I worked with Angie, to put in window treatments for my house. Angie was very patient with all my questions and accommodating to my schedule. In the end, I chose shutters and Byron came out to measure and installed them upon their arrival. I had a very positive experience with everyone at Windows of Fashion. When I am ready to do more, I'll be working with Angie again!

We built a custom built home and had our entire house with the exception of one room all in hunter douglas silouettes. We thought we would give windows of fashion a try so we did and what a huge mess, when i say huge i mean huge as it a fake wanna be hunter douglas no name installed in my home. We left someone here for the installer and came home to a blind that first of all is not marked hunter douglas anywhere on it - first clue ! and doesnt even open properly and sit flush when you pry it open and get rope burn on your hands.. So i contacted windows of fashion and informed them that this blink is horrible we need this looked at ( at the time i didnt know that it was a fake) only found this out recently when i had a hunter douglas rep come to our home to inspect it and deeemed it fake ! They are open saturdays but dont have techs willing to accomadate any customer- how does this makes sense? only monday to friday well people last time i checked work during the week- how poor is this? So i was in communication with someone at the store to try to accomadate after 500pm and this never got done. I was told i had 10 years to get this taken care of. They just gave me the run a around and never cared to fix this at all. I have been emailing and emailing them for a few years and never a response just ignored every email that i have sent. Its obvious the avoidence now is due to the fact that the company scammed me of 1300.00 and made me believe i was getting the real hunter blind this is why im being igorned as they got caught and not willing to give me my money back or order me the real hunter blind i paid 1300.00 for. So my next step was the better buisness bureau and this gets even better. The bbb is gov of manitoba and one should know better NOT TO LIE TO THEM RIGHT? the response from windows of fashion to the bbb then to me was that WINDOWS OF FASHION CREDITED ME 1300.00 FOR THE BLIND which is the biggest lie that i have seen in my whole life!! so now im working with my sister in law whom is crown prosecutor in my province to get them sued and get my money fully refunded!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS AND LIARS !!! WHAT YOU ORDER IS NOT WHAT YOU GET- THEY WILL INSTALL FAKES NOT THE REAL BRAND NAMES!!! i even emailed the owner yesterday letting him know to order me a new blind or give me 1300.00 back NO RESPONSE I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE STILL NO RESPONSE *** STAY AWAY*** ** its hilarious to read your response " windows of fashion" you are lying through your teeth!! you did not offer my 1300.00 back as a refund of any kind of offer to even try to order me a new blind!! you wanted to send a tech to fix it!! AND THAT DIDNT EVEN HAPPEN! THIS IS NOT A HUNTER DOUGLAS I HAD IT INSPECTED PROFESSIONALY... so stop trying to cover your tracks !! you wont win!! really you will not!! like i informed you my sister in law is crown prosecutor in manitoba and my next steps will be illegal action!!- THIS IS A FAKE BLIND NOT HUNTER DOUGLAS AS SPECIFIED ON MY BILL THAT I PAID FOR. The blind from the day he installed it never opened properly- i get rope burn on my hands when trying and ITS NO WHERE MARKED HUNTER DOUGLAS AS ARE THE OTHER ONES FROM A REAL BLIND COMPANY IN THIS CITY!! its was deemed as a fake by a hunter douglas specialist whom visited our home. All i had was a runaround from your company and never a promise to replace to an actual hunter douglas. We make over 1 million dollar salaries here and i would not be fabricating this and wasting my time if infact i was treated fairly- we were ripped off and lied to from your company and ours lives are fantastic- nothing wrong over here LOL perhaps you have issue over at your buisness that your need to address and take courses on proper PR for buisness - red river collage has some great courses for companies!!!! i will ensure to tell our friends whom are home builders in this city not to do buisness with your shady company we happen to be friends and family with 5 top home builders in the city. STAY AWAY PEOPLE THIS REVIEW IS TO PROTECT YOU ALL!
