We bought our house in town a year ago and knew that we wanted to update the master bathroom and closet. It was very dark and the set up was a little unconventional. We talked to Melody and she drew up some plans for a new master bedroom as well as a beautiful living room fireplace.Then Covid hit and we put our plans on hold. We purchased our home with the intention of having renovations done prior to moving in and wanted one individual to coordinate the entire project. I was referred to Melody and Tangible Dreams through a colleague and I was impressed with their website and various past projects. We were not able to have contractors look at the house before possession date, but when I contacted Melody she asked that I send her photos and a list of things we wanted done including redoing the basement bathroom, laundry room and walkout stairs, replacing and restructuring the fireplace, replacing all carpet with flooring, installing a custom master closet, and painting the entire interior of the house. When Melody arrived to do a walk-through to provide a quote, she had some of her affiliated trades people come also. They were all very professional and asked specific questions to ensure they understood what we envisioned for our home. Tangible Dreams was able to provide a very accurate quote by taking this team approach. The master quote was updated as specific items were decided upon with detailed line items and product numbers, so we knew what each item was and where it was going. Melody is friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable and design savvy. She is a genuine and honest business woman and ensures to maintain frequent communication with her client and affiliated trades people so everyone is on the same page. She was very patient with my indecisiveness (arising from lack of design sense) and helped us choose paint colours, flooring, hardware, and fixtures that complemented our personal style and our house. Despite the pandemic situation, Tangible Dreams was able to complete our project several days earlier than estimated and stay on budget! I highly recommend Melody and Tangible Dreams and would not hesitate to have them work on any future projects in our home.
