I was not thinking about getting an interior designer to help us with any thing at all. I figure how hard could that be. But having Janet's help when it comes to choosing the right color, tile, and even finalize style and the details of the whole house probably the best thing we've done for our little house building project. Janet is so patient, approachable and with excellent taste. She is simply the best to work with. We love the house we are currently living thanks to Janet!

In sending this post my only concern is that I have enough space to state all of the amazing attributes of Janet Courtney of JC Interiors. Janet has a very unique blend of professional attributes that served to bring a home renovation project that we recently completed to a very satisfying conclusion. We recently renovated our kitchen, dining room, living room, staircase and front foyer of our home. We had a contractor complete the work, but we would have been lost in a forest of decisions without Janet to guide us through the process. Janet is very creative and has as wonderful ability to visualize completed stages of a project before hand that are both beautiful and functional to the home owner. For example, she took space from an adjoining bedroom to make room for a kitchen nook and pantry. This was a real game changer in the renovation; she moved our original design from good to best. She also has a keen eye for color coordination as she used the color of our kitchen island as a theme color for our banister and living room ceiling fan. Janet is an excellent communicator who focuses on understanding her client. She really listens to what you would like done and she takes the time to get to know you as a person and your specific concerns regarding the home rennovation. She, therefore, does does not have a problem suggesting new and innovative ideas from the latest design features on the market. She consistently and confidently matchs the homeowners taste, with their budget, and personal style preferences. Janet is always available. She was quick to get back to us with even the slightest of our concerns. We never felt abandoned because Janet was right there with us every step of the way through the project; cheering us onward and supporting us toward the ultimate goal of loving where we live. Ms. Courtney's bubbly personality is infectious. She is eager to jump into the renovation journey with you and her wonderful sense of humour is amazing. This attribute along with her organization and detail oriented professionalism served to not only convert our very outdated upper floor of our home to a very functional and beautiful living space, but provided us with a lot of great memories too. All the friends and family that have seen this amazing home transformation just say "Wow!" and "Wow!" again. And we say "Thank-you to JC Interiors!"
