Prices seem to be different from Walmarts in bigger towns on a lot of items; the three star is because the only department that has an inkling of customer service is electronics. I shop there weekly, multiple times most months, get followed around depending on how I am dressed, whether my tattoos on my arms show or not, and have NEVER stolen a thing. I always pay, am always friendly and polite, and even worked there years ago as an independent contractor with no negative issues. Very discriminatory towards people of colour; especially first nations shoppers.

Store is smaller than the average Walmarts.. No McDonalds inside as it closed it's doors a few years ago...place is clean and tidy. The only reason this store is open is because one of the Walmart family owners bought the Douglas Lake Ranch a few miles down the road.

Visited this store in August 2018. Always nice to have a Walmart to go to when camping. We needed medicine and a few supplies. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Waited 35 minutes at electronics to purchase a TV and on a second occasion another 20-30 minutes again for an external hard drive. Askes MULTIPLE people to call for help and nobody showed up. Secondly, bought an air conditioner inside was missing pieces. When brought to return they didn't accept it due to missing pieces. Really? Terrible customers service, walmart needs to work on this.

Walmart does have some of the lowest prices online! One of the things I love most about Walmart is the top-notch selection of unique professional vendors, you honestly get more selection from their online stores than their bricks and mortar. Walmart stays true to traditon with low and matching comparable prices, and the delivery is very quick. I have always gotten my order exactly has promised, and sometimes before I expect it! Its a great website with all the bells and whistles. It offers a tried and true shopping experience.

A very well organized store, everything is pretty easy to find, however they don't carry a lot of the things they used to. Their supply of fish matinence stuff is dwindling largely. They no longer carry any aquarium salt and the water conditioner bottles keep getting smaller.

Surprisingly quiet when we visited. Three cashiers were out ready to greet you as you move towards their tills. A bit smaller than we expected but the usual selection. We had a very friendly new cashier who wanted us to rate her service. Strangely there was no produce.

5 stars for Kapuskasing Walmart as the management is always awesome and helpful, they are trying to expand the food department which would be a great asset for our small community. We need better prices and being that Kapuskaaing Walmart is located right off hwy 11 we do need more food. Infact we need a Super Walmart here in Kapuskasing and there is lots of land to build and add on. Looking forward to seeing the positive changes that we so need here in Kapuskasing Walmart. Thank you for the great staff at Walmart who are always going the extra mile. A great big thank you to Henry in the Pharmacy and Judy who are always there to answer important questions and who are able to get our orders ready. Thank you!

Lacks east Indian groceries. Considering the number of east Indian that live here, this walmart doesn't offer much. We have put in multiple requests on items that are available in other locations but they don't bring it. They also don't have much variety of fruits and vegetables. It definitely needs major improvements.

A Wal-Mart that actually has staff that can usually answer questions/ help. Parking is nearby & other customers are reasonably polite (unlike many Kamloops Wal-Mart: parking can be a miles away & customers are just rude!!) I just wish management would stop putting people in the electronics area that clear no nothing about electronics... or create a "TECH CHALLENGED" button for those staff... so I don't waste either of our time.

Kapuskassing has bare shelves and many products not available. This has been like this for weeks/months. They state logistics but have 4 transports in the lot. It almost looks like Kmart before they closed a location. HWY11 is what most trucks take so the reason of logistics makes no sense. What is there is scattered all over, nothing faced or refolded. Very little staff on hand... Walmart is making an announcement in two weeks, let's see if this one is on the block also.

Alot of the times product on sale is out of stock. Cashiers are quite friendly. Our selection of food is being expanded to include vegetables and fruit which is great but it's a slow process. We dont have quite near the selection as one would would see from larger walmarts outside. The store is usually quite clean.
