Minus 5 stars at best. Avoid this contractor at all costs!! Aggressive, threatening, claimed that since we are in Quebec we must speak to him in french and does not put the customer first in any way. Contractor caused over $5000 worth of damage and incomplete work and when we stated that we would be withholding payment due to said deficiencies the contractor has threatened us with numerous open ended threats. Used our garbage bin for their own waste without asking and then charged us for waste removal, billed for work that was incomplete or never completed at all, the list is to long for a Google review! Avoid this contractor like the plague, unless you like pain and suffering along with an overpriced final bill with threats from the owner when you tell them you wont pay unless they fix the issues.

(Translated) Bad experience. After 1 year, some portions of the work crack and the caulk no longer holds. All the problems during the installation were my fault: wrong material chosen, house too old (30 years), but never their fault. They broke convectors and wall corners which I repaired at my expense (no discount given for damage). In addition, we have felt intimidation and we are afraid to call them back. Ils ont brisé des convecteurs et des coins de mur que j'ai réparé à mes frais (aucun rabais donné pour les dommages). De plus, nous avons senti de l'intimidation et on a peur de les rappeler. Impeccable work. Incredible service and follow up. Gille and his team made our project a reality without busting our bank account. The level of detail and little extras they did really impressed us. If you have any construction or deck projects I highly recommend these guys. Thanks again Construction GL, we are very impressed and satisfied.

My first impression was good when contacting them I got a quick response, they seemed very professional, they sent me a follow up email asking me further questions, I provided them with photo's of what we wanted to get done all the dimensions and next thing I know I get an email back saying they can no longer do my project and when I asked for an explanation zero response back...after reading some of the previous reviews I'm glad they didn't respond back.
