Great food, especially if you're seeking fish 'n' chips. Decent atmosphere and good service. Quite familiar with this place and it's always a decent dining experience, if a bit pricey.

Fabulous homestyle cooking, generous portions. We were very happy with our visit to Kay's. The food was delicious. They could stand to have bottled or filtered water as the tap water isn't the best, kind of boggy tasting but that is my only complaint. Service was great and prices very reasonable.

When traveling the Baccalieu trail and looking for a meal, for me, small town restaurants never disappoint and Kay's is no exception. Generous portions at reasonable prices and friendly service. Ambiance is simple but typical for a small town cafe, we wouldn't hesitate to stop in again should we find ourselves in the neighborhood.

Our experience was upsetting in the restaurant BUT WHEN CALLED THE OWNER/S AT HOME THAT EVENING I WAS RESPECTED AND ACKNOWLEDGED. THE RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE WAS RESOLVED EXPERTLY! Doug and Joanne are to be commended for exceptional customer service.I spoke to Doug that evening (yesterday June 28,2017) and Joanne called me today (early am) and they are genuinely caring owners of a small business making a go of it in our very difficult financial climate.I have to say that they respected me and also their staff. NO EXCUSES for what happened as some might think is easier than facing our concerns with a very caring response. WE WILL RETURN TO THEIR RESTAURANT AND ALSO TELL OTHER! If you have any concerns with your restaurant or takeout visit rest assured that if you call the owners you will be listened to and your concern rectified ,if at all possible.Thanks again Doug and Joanne

Nice home cooking in Harbour grace NL. Prices are very reasonable. We had hot roast beef dinner and hot turkey sandwich. Portions were very good. The beef was a little tough but it was tasty and they were very generous on the portion. We will return.

Shared a 3 piece fish and chips with my mom. They actually have us an extra piece of fish. There was plenty for both of us. Service was great and prices reasonable.
