Working with Marina on my kitchen renovation was a breeze. Her work was professional and timely, which is evident in the outcome of the project. Through the process, Marina was flexible. She worked with me through multiple design changes and was always quick and thorough in preparing alternatives. The final design and materials package we settled on was meticulous and easily referenced during renovations, and I never had any need to go back for corrections. She was able to adjust the material selections with precision in order to meet my budget, which was much more modest than the final result would have you believe.. I would highly recommend working with Marina if you want a keen designer with great taste, accuracy, and the ability to solve problems on-the-fly.

Marina came highly recommended to us and we have come to appreciate why. She worked with us to design millwork for a custom modern waterfront home - a whole house worth of cabinetry, built ins, closets and storage. I must have been one of the most difficult clients for her, as I had very high and exacting expectations of both form and function and was not willing to compromise on either. I have pushed her outside of designer’s comfort zone of being in the driver’s seat. She has adopted incredibly well, embracing my half-baked ideas snd making them her own while skilfully, intelligently and artistically adding her own touches. She anticipated kinks and problems and came up with solutions. Our architect was impressed with quality and detail of her design drawings and has conceded that she considerably improved upon his work. Our build is a work in progress but as we encounter any issues or questions, she has made herself available despite time zone and geographic distance. Come to think of it, it never felt we were working with her virtually, it felt like she was by our side every step of the way. She was always prepared, patient and engaged. Turnaround times for the many updates we required were impressive. Communication was clear, timely and professional. Great attention to detail. Very thoughtful. I also tremendously appreciated her backbone and honesty- she was comfortable challenging an idea or feature I didn’t quite think through without ever being condescending or overbearing. She took an incredible amount of stress and angst out of this experience. We are thrilled to watch her work form and come together in front of our eyes and can’t wait to start enjoying life in a beautifully and thoughtfully designed home. Can’t recommend her enough! I've sent Marina pictures of the styles that I liked and pictures of the house being built. She came back quickly with some ideas. Shortly after hiring her the cladding was chosen.
