An older gentleman approached my friend and I only to immediately dismiss us. We got the impression that it was due to our young age, being two females shopping together & that we were wearing casual comfy clothing. He informed us that all the bedroom sets they sell are high end & he's not sure that's what we are looking for. He was quick to judge and made assumptions so we left and spent our money elsewhere. Some sensitivity, diversity & inclusion training is recommended.

The sales rep was absolutely fantastic! She knew her stuff and was extremely welcoming once we entered the store. I don't have enough great things to say about Randa. It made our recliner shopping experience that much better. We would definitely go back and would refer family and friends to her. The manager on duty on the other hand lacked customer service. The chewing of gum was inappropriate. We were glad we didn't deal with him!

The customer representative here could not have been more condescending to my in-laws when we visited Lazy Boy last week. I do not know the name of the woman, but she told us at least 6 times she has worked there for over 10 years and repeatedly insisted on showing us products we didn’t want. She immediately took them to the highest priced items and spoke to them in a sing song, demeaning voice that was grating and wildly inappropriate. We explained she wasn’t showing them products they needed and she only proceeded to explain to my mother in law how to “get out of a chair.” We have bought many items from lazy boy in the past but will no longer because of this experience. Please recognize that senior citizens need to be treated with respect and try a little humility…or honesty. Do better. If you’re reading this, and looking to purchase, I’d recommend anywhere else. We went to another store in town and purchased 5 furniture items from them.

We went to La-Z-Boy today to check out their Red-Tag sale. We were greeted warmly by Randa who gave us a brief introduction to the Red Tag Sale and then let us wander the store. She did not hover, but still seemed to know when we had a question that she could help answer. We found about 5 different recliners we loved and all were within the price range we were willing to pay. In the end we selected a Clearance model that had been marked down by more than 60%. In short order, we had purchased it, been helped to load it into our minivan, and thanked sincerely for our purchase. It looks fantastic in our home and is super comfortable. We have had outstandingly reliable service from La-Z-Boy recliners for more than 40 years and this one looks to continue that record.

CAUTION! Warranty IS BAIT AND SWITCH. When I was in less than a month ago, I was told in order to make a claim it was just $250 for the tech to travel to your house. My Parent were told: Warranty DOES NOT COVER. - Shipping of part - Duty on part (Because they are NOT MADE IN CANADA) perhaps assembled here) - Travel expenses from OTTAWA Warranty Just covers the part itself. This store did NOTHING TO HELP my parents and their $10g purchase for couch and chair within warranty. They even bought the extended warranty (useless). How can a warranty not cover all expenses to fix over inflated product in order to make it work again. Bolt became loose and fell out and sheared bolt when exiting. **UPdate** Wow that was a fast reply from company. This is a good sign. I have forwarded the email to my father at 10am Mar 30th. I will update the review following the outcome of the conversation.

Greg was very knowledgeable about their products and found all the answers to questions that we had. We were searching for a couch and found a recliner in the right colour and fabric that suited our space. Their products were very comfortable compared to couches that we looked at in other stores. The price was good too along with the delivery times available and the extended warranty. Great experience.

Great staff! Perfect delivery and weeks ahead of schedule. Seems like a superior product and we are confident it will last for years. We never saw anything close to the quality of LZBoy products anywhere. Our sales representative was polite, succinct and well versed with the product. I work in the health care/home care sector and I took one of my clients to La-Z-Boy to find a recliner that would support her neck and back from an orthopaedic perspective as she has chronic pain, and something that would be easy for her to stand up from as she is a senior. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Darren who then listened to what we were looking for and proceeded to show us options. My client is particular and we were there for 2 hours, and Darren was ever so patient with her, spoke to her with such respect and kindness, really listened to her and made sure to check-in with us even when he had to attend to another customer for a few moments. He even had the manager, Randa, come to us and provide really valuable feedback (she used to be a Nurse so her knowledge of proper support a chair should offer was impeccable). We didn't feel pressured at all. They were genuinely concerned with my client being comfortable and not just wanting to make 'a quick sale'. Honestly, it was so refreshing having this experience as I often find people don't always treat seniors with such respect and care (we had an awful experience at Leon's just before). We left there purchasing (what we believe) the perfect chair for her. All in all, what a great experience. I will definitely give them my own business in the future and recommend them to anyone! On behalf of me and my client, thanks so much again to both of you!!!

My new Lazy Boy living room arrived on Thursday and I can't tell you how thrilled I am with it all. Barb Patton helped me pick the right styled sofa for my very small home and my three Shelties. We had a great time finding the right pillow fabric, selecting a recliner, area carpet and coffee table to go with the sofa. My living room has never looked so good, thanks to Barb's keen eye. The whole experience was so enjoyable and I never felt any pressure at all. She explained everything about the fabrics, warranties, delivery, etc. to me and I felt like she would spend as much time as I needed to help me make the right choices. The two fellows who delivered the furniture were wonderful as well. They laid the carpet and then set up the whole living room for me. They also gave me information on the carpet and furniture that I didn't know. I would recommend anyone wanting quality furniture to visit Lazy Boy and I would highly recommend visiting Barb for a very professional experience. The extra pillows, picture and lamps from Lazy Boy have arrived and completed the living room. Totally satisfied with everything and the total look! Many thanks again

We bought a 3 seat couch from them December 2017 and a year prior we bought a single recliner.The fabric on both pieces today shows significant wear all over. Called service and was told nothing can be done. We thought La-z-boy was better quality than this. Didn't even last 2 years. Eyesores in our Family room

Leather electric recliner purchased...electric mechanism problems, leather upholstery had acknowledged flaws in sewing. Because of problems with this model, subsequent to our purchase it was removed from the market. We returned unit, selected another, slightly less costly but not identical unit, as it was no longer available. Replacement unit had no problems however we could not get refund on price difference, had to select “decor” merchandise we didn’t need in lieu of refund.

I had a rewarding experience this morning at the Kingston La-Z-Boy. The salesperson was very helpful (and patient) with fabric options available. I was able to find a comfortable loveseat, an attractive fabric choice, and at an affordable price. Thank you Ken. My loveseat was delivered this morning. It’s perfect????????. The delivery window was between 10:00 and 12:00. They were here by 10:15 and were very polite and courteous. I would recommend La-Z-Boy to anyone. Thanks again

Bought a Recliner for my Sister for Xmas and she is a patient in Palliative Care at St Mary's of the Lake Hospital in Kingston. My Sales Rep Barbara Patton was wonderful to work with and we picked out a beautiful Recliner/Rocker. After the Chair was delivered,on time and in good condition,the Hospital refused to let her keep the Chair as a Rocker was considered unstable. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time!! Called and spoke with Travis, Service Rep, who arranged for Service Tech to come to Hospital and disable the Rocking. Brent?name? arrived a 5 PM Dec 23rd and informed me that by disabling the Rocking mechanism,we would not be able to Recline the chair as to do so would break the mechanism. He had spoken to Store Manager Liam and I was told I could replace the Chair. Had to wait 'til after New Year' but was able to meet with Liam and order new chair. Everyone was so helpful through this difficult time and I would highly recommend this Store and Staff to anyone looking for beautiful furniture!

The entire staff at the Kingston location made us feel welcome in their store. They allowed us time to walk around the store and look before asking if we needed any assistance which we totally appreciated. When we were asked what brought us into the store we indicated we were looking for living room furniture, and sofa bed, as well as dinning room chairs . I indicated I wanted something firm that supported my back as well that my feet touched the floor and that it reclined for comfort. Well all these qualities were met and every question we had was explained. Because of the pleasant manner of the staff and knowledge of their products, we ended up purchasing all of our furniture there. We are still waiting on some pieces we ordered as they were customized for us. They were very informative on how long the delivery would take. We have received 3 of the item's we purchased and there delivery staff were excellent. I recently purchased couches and a chair from La-Z-Boy after trying to make a purchase at Leon's I made an order at Leon's for couches and a chair and waited 18 weeks and never received anything I had to go into Leon's and ask when I would see the stuff I ordered they didn'tHave a clue they were stunned I then said to Leon's that they would have to do something for me for the wait they told me to let them get it in my house then they would do some thing for me I was stunned I went home and researched the stuff I bought from Leon's and realize the reviews sucked then I researched what was the best furniture on the market lazy boy came up number one I decided to go intoLa-Z-Boy and see what they had the salesman I dealt with in Kingston his name was Greg and he was very thorough and very helpful he knew what he had and he knew his material differences he was able to set me up with something very nice within a week I had couches in my house thatWe are in love with thanks Greg from La-Z-Boy an Kingston I hope the quality holds up to the reviews and I hope the warranty holds up to the standards PS it took almost 3 weeks to even get my money back from Leon's when they took my money the same day I ordered I will never be back to Leon's again lazy boy all the way

My husband and I were in to buy a chair for me. I had very specific needs and wants. With arthritic hips I wanted a chair that was easy to get out of and had a reclining feature. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the person who helped me but she was new to the store. She was fantastic and when she was uncertain about something did not hesitate to call another staff person over. We were really impressed with the way they could draw out from me after trying a chair what I did not like about and could direct me to the perfect one. If we ever need another chair we would not hesitate to go back.

Honestly, 5 stars is not enough. We needed a new chair for my 90 your old, mobility compromised mother in law. We decided on a manual lift as opposed to electric. MIL could not come in to try due to limited mobility. Staff was SUPER accommodating. Gave us a floor model and offered to be of assistance if it wasn't a fit. MIL was surprisingly unable to use the manual lift. We went back the next day with the chair. We asked if a store credit would be ok as we knew we had been taking a risk. The store manager was awesome. Took the chair and gave us a refund as well. I can tell you they now have customers for life! Happy staff... ability to make decisions in the moment. Corporations: pay attention!! This is how you sell a "premium" product and gain customers - you provide a premium service. Best service and sales I have come across in 20 years easily!!! Dave

We wasted two weeks looking for a low living room chair to fit my wife. We left this store until last due to my wife believing that they were more expensive. 45 minutes after entering, we were exiting the store with the perfect size chair , in a custom fabric, at a lower price then we were able to find anywhere else.
