Love the Quality of construction on the obvious care taken in how they build their buildings. I could not recommend them any more, If I could give 10 Starts I would! The interactions are great the communications are clear. They've updated their ordering process to make it more automated and online. It was a very easy ordering process. Love them and can't wait to order another building when we need one.

These guys absolutely rock! First of all their designs are outstanding and they have a million choices. Next you can customize your order in any way you want such as adding pressure treated skids, joists and decking (which I did for my outhouse). I picked my kit up and WISH I had more time to check out their grounds, so many cool cabins and you can see them being made, everyone was super nice. I was there maybe 45 minutes total so they move quickly for pickup (a lot of that was paying for my kit). The instructions were excellent and provided even though I printed them and had a copy on my phone. Took me two days (11 hours) to complete the project by myself in the middle of the woods in 92 degree heat (ugh). Photos of my project not the site. No building experience here folks!

We ordered a fully assembled 4x12 woodbin, delivered today. It's exactly as expected, looks very substantial and sturdy, and the delivery staff was great. I would absolutely order from Jamaica Cottage Shop again - very good value for the price. So glad I found them! It will be so nice not to have to pull the tarp on and off all winter...

While the sheds are nice, and (especially during their sales) their pricing is fair, their customer service is HORRIBLE, and it is incredibly difficult to get your already purchased and paid for shed delivered! Our delivery date has been rescheduled 3 times now, I can't get anyone to email me back or give me an answer as to what time it will be delivered. When I call I get the run around. This shed was paid for in full two months ago! I would never recommend anyone purchase from here!

If you love this planet, if you are passionate about being a steward of Earth and the community in which you live Jamaica Cottage Shop is your Go To place for a unique camp or a simple back yard storage shed. I was frustrated in my search for something with character and charm. Contractors were asking too much money for an on site building. The local shed dealers were offering typical boxlike buildings with few options. After searching for two years I found JCS! After spending hours on their very informative web site I chose a designer and took a deep breath when I dialed the number. I was expecting high pressure sales staff, a complicated process of design options but that is not what Inexperienced. I met Avery and with skill and patience he listened to my ideas and suggested alternative options. It was all very straight forward and professional yet relaxing. It must be the Vermont relaxed culture permeating through the JCS organization! I love the back story behind the business and the videos are most helpful. I was very pleased with my experience with Jamaica Cottage Shop. The shed I purchased is everything I could have hoped for. The quality of shed is excellent. Working the logistics with Jamaica Cottage Shop was pretty easy. I wish that we had a more in-depth conversation about the challenging site we had for the shed. It would have saved them the trouble of having to try to deliver the shed twice. I was really impressed with the professionalism and skill that they demonstrated when dropping off and installing the shed. I definitely recommend working with this company.

I was really hoping that we could work something out. I spent a lot of time planning and narrowing down the post and beam workshop kit that I wanted to purchase. After all of my research, Jamaica Cottage Shop checked every box. They had a good reputation, they seemed to have everything I needed, and most importantly, the price was right. I had various email dialogs with questions and comparisons between the models. At this time, I was working with my architect to see what I was allowed to do on my property. At the tail end of December, I nailed down the package I wanted and received pricing from Jamaica Cottage Shop. I was told that prices would start to gradually rise, so keep that in mind. I went ahead and started getting everything ready. I bought the plans, shared them with my architect, completed my zoning application with the town, and submitted building subcode. (The zoning and building subcode had to be done prior to purchasing the kit in the event I wasn't able to build this on my property). I then started planning and pricing the concrete slab and location where the structure would sit. So I got all of that done, and in the beginning of February I was ready to order the kit. I got all the details finalized. Now I order the kit, have it delivered, and build this thing! Well, unfortunately that did not happen. When I actually went to purchase the kit, the price was 40% more than what was quoted 40 days earlier! If you know about permit costs, concrete slab costs, delivery costs, and labor, having 40% increase in costs of the kit completely blew the budget out of the water. I was hoping it was a typo or they would honor the original quoted price, but that did not happen either. They said that they would give me 5% off (which would equate to about $800 off). That still is about $4k more than what was quoted just a little over a month earlier. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and agreed to pay $1k more than what they quoted me because I understand prices go up, but they wouldn't budge. I really like the kit. The product seems great. But I feel like I was almost obligated to pay the crazy price increase because of the time and energy I invested already. I just don't have the money to do that and to be honest I wouldn't feel right doing it anyway.

A great experience ordering and receiving my 6x10 woodbin! I went on-site to view what they had in stock, and was out the door with my order set up in about 15 minutes. Heidi was very organized in communicating the delivery and asking me about the driveway and drop site. It took about 3 weeks for delivery during peak season. Jamaica Cottage Shop is awesome! We bought a "scratch & dent" New Yorker shed. We had lots of sheds to pick from but this one is 8'x14' and will hold our lawn tractor and lots and lots of lawn furniture and garden tools. Success! I stumbled across the Jamaica Cottage Wood storage sheds on-line. Try as I might, I couldn't find anything similar closer to California so we ordered it up and hoped for the best. Dealing with Jamaica via email and phone was easy. All of our questions were answered and the transaction was smooth. We were able to take residential delivery and offloading everything piece by piece wasn't too bad at all with just the two of us and a little help from our truck driver. That being said, if you have a way to get the whole pallet dropped off, go that route. My husband built the 8x10 all by himself and I must say I am impressed. It was the lease amount of swearing I've heard on any project he's done! He doesn't have any experience doing this kind of project but he enjoyed seeing the progress he was making each day and he learned a lot. I will say do not underestimate the value of a pre-cut kit. It was a real time saver, everything was right there, already measured, cut, and labeled with where it needed to go. My husband did say that the instructions started out really clear but deteriorated towards the end, as if the person writing them got tired of the project, culminating with "put the roof on". He was able to find a youtube video of someone putting on a Jamaica roof and that answered all of his questions. I also have no doubt that he could have called Jamaica at any and steps along the way and gotten assistance. Bottom line, the shed looks fantastic and we're likely to get other out buildings from Jamaica Cottage Shop in the future.

My experience with JCS was superb from beginning to end. I love my Writer's Haven! From Jamie and the sales staff, Hillary with Logistics Coordination, Teresa with final instructions before delivery and the delivery personnel were all more than courteous and helpful! The whole process took just seven weeks. I cannot Highly Recommend them enough! If you're looking for that unique cottage or shed design, this is definitely the route to go!

Customer communication was exceptional from the time the order was placed and the follow-up after delivery. I ordered a 10'x4' garbage shed "pore-cut" kit which was delivered by "Dave" a real nice dude who took some extra time to explain the best approach to unpack and stay organized. Every piece is labelled with a color code (Blue = base, red = frame, greed = siding, yellow = trim...) which made the preparation very convenient. A comprehensive cut sheet and detailed plans made the project doable for a DYI Dude. It took me a few days to complete but plenty of satisfaction when done. Their design and quality is of the highest standard and wouldn't be fair to compare to lessor box store choices. I can highly recommend purchasing from Jamaica Cottage Shop. - Andrew

A Day Well Spent

The plans came quickly! Wow the plans have great detail. We hope to video our progress as our family works together to build this leanto in our back yard for our family to use. We are going to be having campfire dinners and try several types of outdoor dinners. We will be videoing our progress and will share the building of our lean to on You Tube once it is completed. 0/5 stars Ordered a 2x4 Garbage bin on June 28 and on July 26 received the wrong panels to build it. Contacted customer service on July 26 and then waited until August 3 to receive correct panels. The "correct" panels they sent me were still missing a piece. In the AM August 5th I was told they would "overnight the panel" to me. It is 8/6/2021 and tracking shows that UPS has still not received the panel.

The kits these guys sell are amazing. I chose to go with a basic package of the framework, with no floor, siding or roof (I wanted to use specific materials for each), and everything came exactly as expected. I''m about halfway through the first of two sheds, and have not been missing a single part, and have not had to re-cut a single piece - it's been incredible how everything has fit so nearly perfectly. The quality of the wood seems great, too. No complaints at all so far.

We have built 2 kits (Florida Room and Sugar Shack) from Jamaica Cottage and are now working on our 3rd, a woodshed. Completing them has been very satisfactory and, while some construction experience is very helpful, the provided directions were very thorough and easy to understand. Color-coded precut pieces and detailed parts list were very helpful. In the only case of an incorrect item a quick call and equally quick delivery of the correct item easily solved the problem. Our 3rd kit involved some customization and the folks at Jamaica Cottage were very helpful every step of the way. We recommend them very highly!

We customized our options online and through several email and phone conversations with Jamaica Cottage Shop. Planning this all was seamless working with JCS and their team. They really have a good system and the finished product is very well built. I am extremely pleased with the final results and have had numerous compliments on my building. JCS went out of their way to address and all concerns about each and every detail. As someone who deals with contractors regularly going this route was smoother than I could have imagined from both a planning and logistical standpoint (as well as the final product). It took a while for my shipment to arrive as I ordered it in the early spring and there weren't other shipments coming my way. When it arrived it was totally worth the wait. I had my contractor build it and his knowledge may have even slowed the process. The color-coded, step-by-step directions were amazing. At least once he over thought it and had to step back and just read the directions. That said, I'm sure his expertise made quick work of most things that a less experienced person would have had to read more carefully. Either way the process was great. The shipping and packaging and directions were amazing. And the shed is beautiful! I'd post a pic but not sure how to in this format.

Dave delivered our kit pallets and was excellent. He had to shift to the mule due to mud conditions on the drive and then was able to get everything up the hill and placed just right at our building site. Everything was packed and labeled well. The only issue, which is minor, is that because the scratch-n-dent kit had probably sat together longer than it should have in a particularly rainy VT summer, there was mold on some of the wood. We sprayed it with 1/2 bleach and water, and it seems to be doing fine now that things are aired out.

I recently purchased the 14’x24’ barn and 8’x10’ wood shed from Jamaica Cottage Shop. My whole experience has been top notch. From the first steps of picking out what was best for my specific situation through the delivery of the two structures. They were there to help all along the way. The buildings themselves are very well built and they both look great! It appears that they will last me for a long time to come. If you are thinking about a shed or barn I highly recommend this company. The customer service was spot on if you have any issues be sure to let them know and they will take care of it right away. From the totally life-saving delivery driver and forklift master who made our whole messy deep woods project so much more possible, and who was kind, patient, thoughtful, and generous to boot, to the ongoing support from Joe and others about how to build the pre-cut kit into what we're really dreaming of, JCS has gone beyond what we hoped for. The designs are elegant in simplicity. The plans are so clear and the color coding and tagging of the lumber makes staying organized so much more possible - a miracle for our crazy building site!! and maybe best of all is how much JCS' style of kit makes it possible for someone at a relatively beginner level of carpentry to build this and learn along the way. After this project I'm going to feel safe building a simple structure from scratch because this was so easy to get right and to understand. But I'll also be buying more structures from JCS because the time saved, the extra support, and the pricing make it all worth it. So glad I found this place before going with something else!

I wish the 'showroom' had the standard building of each type type rather than custom ones so you could see exactly what's in the catalog, but being in them gave a general idea.

I absolutely LOVE my Gable Shed! I had been looking at Jamaica Cottage Shop products for a long time, specifically for my future plans to downsize into a smaller place and I loved all the options they offer with their different products, whether it's just blue prints, just the frame, a kit or fully assembled. Also, the ease in changing the design was wonderful. Instead of one side-by-side door, I wanted two dutch doors on either end of the shed as it is the shelter for my goats. As for the delivery of my shed, it was amazing. One individual delivered my fully assembled 10 x 12 ft shed, unloaded, leveled and attached the ramps in a couple of hours! I absolutely reccommend Jamaica Cottage Shop and look forward to future purchases!

I purchased the 3 sled shed in full pre-cut kit form. The delivery was quite a positive experience. They use Pine Hill trailers that are amazing. The driver asked me where I wanted it, directly next to my garage and steps away from the my prepared construction site. He put it within inches of where I wanted it. Hi, I have been intending to put a Jamaica cottage cabin on my property for my daughter for some time. Today they sent me an email that offered a heavily discounted cabin. Only one available. I contacted an agent and said I'll take it. Not so fast that will be $2600.00 shipping. I asked what about your free shipping? All over the website says "free shipping" Nope, not on specials, so it comes out to the same as the sale price. Very disappointing, dishonest sales practice.

The lot was very busy when we went to explore our options at Jamaica Cottage Shop Inc. I don't like the car buying Expereince when the sales people ask if you have any questions every five minutes. However I would have appreciated somebody offering us a bit of guidance, we roamed the lot for almost two hours. A very nice man driving a huge forklift pointed out some cottages and sheds we had not yet noticed, that was helpful. When my partner and I had written down all we could from the hang tags on the various floor models and special orders displayed around the lot we settled on a small shed for our first purchase. This was to be our new Boat House. We also decided on a two car garage with attached work room, barn style, and a large tiny house to be placed on a near by lake for our follow up purchases. We wanted to experience the Jamaica Cottage quality and customer service before getting in too deep. These folks were exceptional every step of the way. The sales team were good. The follow up emails were good. The final shed/boat house was amazing. Perhaps the best part was the man who delivered our first building. As suggested we had a bunch of sand delivered and we spread it to be the base for the building. When the shed got to our home the delivery guy spent an hour smoothing and raking the sand, laying down concrete blocks, then another half hour leveling the building with shims. He was polite, efficient, and professional. I am so embarrassed that I didn't get his name. We will be continuing a loyal relationship with Jamaica Cottages for our next three major projects without hesitation.

Jamaica Cottage Shops delivered as promised. To my surprise, the 68 foot 18 wheeler was able to make down my curved driveway. Video and pics did not discourage the delivery. The trailer is segmented and allowed for the 10x12 shed to unloaded, leveled, and ready, to go in less than an hour. The shed is far more solid that my previous shed which had rotted away after 35-40 years. The process was simple, agreeable, and the team persons that I spoke to had the answers to all my questions.

We ordered a four season 12x24 Bunkhouse. The logistics of getting the cabin was fine, we had it delivered to a business, Jamaica Cottage shop had good communication with me and were friendly and easy to talk to, happy to answer my questions. The cabin itself it’s very nice quality, solidly built, very happy with the finished product. The only thing we had an issue with were the way the pallets were stacked. The lumber was well labeled and it was easy to follow the directions for where each piece went. The pallets though, the different colors were not always together so we had to dig through pallets, finally we just spent several hours sorting lumber. This was not a huge deal, just more of an inconvenience, it would absolutely not deter me from buying from Jamaica cottage shop again, or from recommending them to others. Overall very happy with my experience with them and our bunkhouse.

I'd like to buy a 12' X 16' Sugar Shack already assembled but I live outside the delivery range (SW PA). I'd get the kit, but I'm residential, and well, my tractor with forks can only lift under 1,000 pounds. So I got the plans and may give it a try with local lumber. I like the idea of a concrete pad. Oh, the plans came quickly and well organized. Not blueprints, but easy to follow plans.

Great product and customer service. I put together an 8x12 shed kit. It was helpful that JCS updated me during the wait period, and even the delivery driver gave me a call en route. The shed looks fantastic! Rustic durable simplicity. I’m turning it into a sauna. My only criticism are the instructions. Instructions are not clear enough. They blend a general shed kit with the 3 season, and while fairly intuitive there were some confusing places, and some critical typos. JCS was extremely helpful in clarifying. Overall, terrific experience and I highly recommend.

Thee trash barrel shed arrived early. Because it was for a vacation home, I didn't get to the assembly until now. It looks great fully assembled. It came in two boxes and was well packaged The instructions were pretty good. Some of the parts didn't have the same corresponding letters but as there were not that many parts it was ok.. The look and quality of materials are great. Thick raw lumber that is the real deal. Kit ships in huge 20’ pallet stack 4’ high. Was assuming they stack parts in order of assemble, but right off on first steps, lumber was at bottom of pile needing whole stack to be spread all over yard. Kit shipped with extra door, no roof ridge, and steel roof panels were all 1-4 inches short, ended up buying roof panels locally but had to use some lesser quality as that was all that was local. Assembled early fall and winter didn’t let me wait months to resolve roofing material issues. After being built looks perfect(besides roof materials) for the experience the price was too high. I thought they would stack materials in order or somewhat relative to assembly and be more attentive to all items being included.

Disappointed in a little bit with driving all the way down there to see what they had and not really being able to be shown around a little bit. The secretary at the front was very helpful and answered a lot of questions. But it would’ve been nice to walk the property and talk about the buildings with somebody who is knowledgeable. There was also a lot of equipment moving around which made me a little uncomfortable. The buildings were rough cut pretty much.

T'was a ShedVember to remember! 8' x 12' Gable Shed precut kit was a fun project from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with at JCS was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Pallet was delivered on time and without damage. Directions were superb; all fasteners and hardware included. Assembly went smoothly. Perfect Father-Son project. This is an outstanding product and a very fair deal. hey even included some extra lumber for packing, temporary bracing of the frame, and a few replacement boards and battens. Everyone who visits complements the shed, and my Mother even made a Christmas card out of a photo of it! I have a feeling I'll be back soon, as now my wife wants a she-shed. I recently bought a storage shed while they were running a winter sale. I was very excited up until I had to decide if I was going to pay, what seemed to be absurd, the shipping cost for the 2 hour haul to my house. After weighing all my options and discussing with tow companies in the area I decided to bite the bullet and pay for Jamaica Cottage Shop to deliver. After working with the driver to maneuver the shed into my desired location I realized that the delivery charge was well worth the investment and very reasonable after all. We were able to tuck the shed into a nook in my yard with the equipment they brought for the delivery and properly level the shed all without issue. The driver was very knowledgeable and I am unsure if I would have been able to even get the shed into said location without their delivery assistance. I would recommend JCS to anyone else in the area for sure! The whole experience was easy and timely from my initial phone call through the time the delivery driver left my house.

Customer service was great from beginning to end. Our little garden shed was delivered fully built to our house and off loaded (slid off the trailer and into place on the gravel bed we had prepared). The gentleman was an amiable expert and clearly very experienced. We love our new shed. Be forewarned that the interior is not a fine finish job, but everyone loves its looks, and I think the only thing we would wish for is an easier way to screen the windows.

The overall designs seem great, but I have to agree with some of the previous reviews regarding poor customer service. We purchased a pre-cut kit shed, along with the residential shipping option (+$550 roughly) for being outside of the company's "free shipping" area -- we were contacted by the JCS crew a couple of days later to inform us that we would need a forklift in order to accept the delivery. Obviously this was a ridiculous request, because how many homeowners have immediate access to a forklift? After discussing a bit further, we were told that the third party delivery service would only allow us roughly 15-30 min to offload the 3,000+ lbs of wood materials, while being charged an exorbitant amount of money in addition to the original $550 for any extra time it would take to offload the delivery by hand. The alternative option is to have the kit delivered to a receiving company within your area, and in-turn pay that receiving company to accept shipment of your order and finish the delivery to your home; this was not an option for where we live. Edit: although we were charged a $100 cancellation fee, the company did kindly reach back out to us to make things right. They offered to ship a set of building plans to our address upon request.

Don't be fooled. These reviews are written by their employees and friends. It is impossible to obtain any pertinent information from them at all. They are young and inexperienced people selling these kits who have no knowledge or building at all. They also do not allow you to speak to anyone who has any or an engineer. These are after all buildings. Not a good experience at all for any customer service.

I have ordered several outbuildings from Jamaica Cottage Shop, the latest was a 10x16 Three Sled Shed pre-cut kit. They definitely went over and above to deliver it to me, and the shed itself is very well designed and went together easily. Although it says you need two people I was able to build 95% of it myself. The genius of the design is that the trim is designed to hide things that aren’t quite perfect but once fully assembled will look perfect. They help a sloppy carpenter look like a master. Materials are first rate, instructions are excellent as is their technical support should you need it. Highly recommended!

Great product! I bought a 14 X 20 garage with an 8 foot overhang and am impressed with the quality of the material. I put it together myself (with a lot of help) and was pleased with the ease of assembly. Very little cutting was needed, and they supplied plenty of extra lumber for screw ups, not that there were many. The driver that delivered it did an amazing job getting it into a tight spot in the woods. The whole project has been fun and well worth the money.

I placed an order for the 8x12 Economy Vermonter weeks ago that was already assembled and in stock. The sales department is absolutely terrible. They repeatedly confused my order with someone elses on the phone. They are very slow to respond to emails, if you hear back at all. I had to call after waiting a week to find out why nobody contacted me to setup a delivery date and I am STILL waiting for someone to contact me... Turns out they dropped the ball on letting me know I had more paperwork to sign. Then I found out they dont open attatchments with signed paperwork for the order without me calling them, which has caused unneccessary delays. I have been chasing them for weeks for the proper paperwork to sign, so I can have my shed delivered before winter hits and my driveway is no longer accessible by truck. It seems like the sales team Im dealing with thinks its a joke. Im very disappointed. After this experience I will never deal with Jamaica Cottage Shop again, it has been nothing but a nightmare. I work over 70 hours a week, I dont have time to do someone elses job and chase down paperwork. I really want to support my my local craftsmen. Ive stopped by there yard many times as a potential buyer to look around, the quality is fantastic. Which truly is terrible since theyre not far from Windam County where I live, Id be proud to have more of there work on my land. Good luck to you all who choose to deal with them. I hope you dont have the same problems Ive been having and your buying process goes much smoother.

After having to reschedule a couple times because of the weather, the shed has arrived. The truck that it came on was much bigger than expected, so I was a little nervous about what my saturated lawn would look like after setting the shed. The driver informed me that he would use a small all terrain fork lift and dolly wheels. He did a fantastic job! (didn’t get his name) Teresa Hall was a pleasure to talk with as well. She did an outstanding job keeping me up to date with everything!

The outhouse arrived when they said it would. The driver was very accommodating as to where we wanted the kit dripped off. We had built an octagon kit from another company and it came with no directions. It was a nightmare. Jamaica Cottage shop provided excellent directions which even I, with barely any carpentry skills could build. We are very happy with their product.

Did RTO horse barn/run in, was delivered as stated and where I needed it. Then I had to travel for a while leaving that same day. Now that Im back- It kinda looks like was made from Pallets. Lots of Gaps, holes... that I will have to fill into make it more weatherproof.

For Fathers Day my family pitched in to get me an 8x12 garden shed for our new house. Jamaica Cottage was easy to brows online and make an informed decision. The quality of the build is excellent and properly displayed on their site. The timber frame construction is with quality lumber, the floor decking and skids are solid and well designed also a choice of roofing to fit your landscape. Having options to customize, order a kit, or have a pre built structure delivered was excellent. The day after we places the order online I was contacted to confirm my order, clarify delivery needs and select a delivery window. Shortly after I was scheduled for delivery and requested to have a stone pad ready For them to land the shed on. The delivery driver Peter who works for Jamaica Cottage (not a sub-contractor) was excellent on his approach backing into our very long driveway then maneuvering the shed into place within rocks and trees. He was sure to properly level the shed and orient it as we desired. Jamaica Cottage uses quality hardware and local wood as well as labor. I highly recommend them for any of their structures.

It was a lot of work but I enjoyed every moment and valued the opportunity to build something with so many friends and family members. My order was a small one: plans for a 12 by 14 ft shed. As soon as my order was placed a copy for review was available on the internet so we could begin immediately. About a week later the plans arrived in good condition. I had an occasion to speak with one of representatives on phone. He was very courteous and answered all my questions.

Worth the wait. The delivery of my shed was almost a month from order but it was exactly as described. When I purchased Heidi told me when it would arrive and it did exactly when promised. The delivery guys set it up in a tough spot and did it very professionally. The lead guy obviously has been doing this for a while. He check it over and over to ensure that is was sitting perfectly flat and I cannot say enough of the quality of the shed. I would recommend Jamaica Shed Company to anyone who is in need of more storage.

Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic quality and service. The weather refused to cooperate leading up to the delivery date and it looked as though it wasn't going to be possible to get the shed down to the desired building site. Instead of just dropping it off at a temporary location and driving away, the driver insisted on taking a look at the route in to see really was possible based on his experience and knowledge of his equipment. He did the impossible and I have the shed where it needs to be. Hurrah and thanks so much.

Purchased the precut 14x20 Sugar Shack kit, arrived on time and well packaged. The instructions were easy to follow and the wood was marked well packaged in pretty much the order you needed it. First off, the shed is great. Well built even for the economy model. It's as I expected! Secondly, the delivery driver James Lee went way above and beyond expectations. If it was me driving that truck, I would have turned around and gone home when I saw the snow covered road, steep hill, tight turns, impossible turn around, low hanging trees, impossible angle to set the shed. But James was patient and determined and he succeeded, setting the shed exactly where I wanted, plumb and level. He even adjusted the door hardware so the door would work properly! Give this guy a raise, he is a great asset to your organization! The criticism I have is for the company who sent him on a winter delivery to a difficult site without snow tires and ill-fitting tire chains. I discussed the site in great detail with logistics team prior to delivery, sent videos, etc. They sent poor James out here in a truck with nearly bald summer tires! The snow chains were too big and kept spinning off the wheels no matter how many times James put them back on. They were meant for wheels much larger than the ones on the truck. It took many, many tries to get up the hill and around the corner and we went well over the alloted 3 hour delivery time which I'll have to pay for according to my contract. This whole debacle could have been avoided if he had been set up for success with the right equipment instead of having to make do with inadequate tires and chains. If this company expects to make deliveries in the winter, they should buy snow tires for the trucks and provide the right tire chains. Well done James, and shame on you Jamaica Cottage Shop.

Well done JCS!! We are two projects in with the folks at JCS (a three bay equipment shed and a wood bin) and counting. Both were PCKs shipped to us out of state. Especially with a project the size of the equipment shed (four large material skids), how they (the skids) were organized and packed was impressive. The shipments were on time, well coordinated, and the drivers very helpful. And, the kits are a lot of fun to build! As is the case with any large project, not everything is perfect or goes as planed, but another great thing about JCS is that if it’s not right they will make it right and their technical staff is fantastic. We are looking forward to our next project with JCS! Thanks guys!

I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical at first. I never visited the store as they were a couple states away. Found a shed I liked and contacted them and it was nothing but excellent service start to finish. The sales rep took pictures of the exact unit I was getting and answered all questions promptly. The price was outstanding(which is why I was skeptical) at first, beat any price I found by over $500. They called to confirm delivery but just having a 2ft snow storm I pushed it off a week, which gave me time to plow my yard and get the driveway as clean as possible. The shed arrived today and WOW, it was even better than I expected. Now, the delivery driver, David was as professional as they come and his attention to detail was spot on. He also answered any questions I had and was very friendly. He got the shed behind my house with some snow and ice still on the ground and leveled it perfectly. Highly recommend and if I ever need another shed or something for the animals this will be the first place I go.

The communication from them was great, the kit was packaged perfectly and the delivery driver took time to review all the materials and instructions with me. The wood was high quality. Update; Bought a second woodshed, nothing like the first. Many pieces mislabeled or missing altogether. I have a stack of trim that doesn't belong, used it to cut replacements for many missing or damaged pieces. Customer Service got things straightened out.

Attempting to work with designing our house I needed something larger (something like the size that we wanted )was inconceivable . To chance a blueprint . They wanted 5000 down immediately to start After much frustration because we actually LIVE in Jamaica VT, and we wanted to shop local, it was very said that we would have to igo elsewhere. hSo the end of our discussion with Jamaica The Owner of the Jamaica shop sat down for discussion with us. Us: how much to just do the outside Oz: well, without the new blueprints for $500 I cannot tell you anything . We need the 500 first before we can draw them. Oh, incidentally, if you decide to go along with what that of the blueprints, , thatbis $500 that they can use toward the bill. If you don't like them and do not want to move forward, YOU HAVE LOST YOUR $509. Wanted to work and buy local, wouldn't work out. They are incredibly expensive at Jamaica Shops. I wish that I had better news!!
