This is an amazing store it has always been a great catalog company with great product at great prices but now you get to walk in and see things in person I highly recommend it the staff is incredibly friendly and it's beautifully decorated to really give you great ideas of how they're wonderful product can be used

4 stars for the products, minus one star for two reasons: 1. It took over 30 min to engage a sales associate to assist with my order. 2. I was handed off to another associate to complete my purchase - communication of the $220 delivery charge was not disclosed (in addition to the 4-hour delivery window) and a pick-up option is not available (discovered after calling Ballard). Hopefully with time, and more experience, the sales associates/designers will become more service oriented/consumer focused.

Oh so fresh, fun and inspiring, Ballard Designs has airy, awesome decor and home accents. I am in love with the brightness, the forwardness of transitional to traditional furnishings and don't get me started on the pillows! I wanted one of each but couldn't fit them on my sofa, of course. Staff here is just as refreshing and thoughtful as the designs. They will step in to assist or allow you space to browse. Very recommended for at least a pop-in, as you never know what they'll have and something might need to come home with you.

I usually don’t write reviews, but here we go... My husband and I are currently building a house and we wanted a statement chandelier piece for our dining room so we decided to purchase the Piper Beaded Chandelier and have it shipped to the Clearfork location. We had a great experience with the woman that we placed the order with. Once I received the email that it had been delivered, I went to pick it up. Once I was there, I asked if I could look at the piece just to make sure it wasn’t damaged. The store manager and employees looked at me like I was crazy and said that “they don’t usually do that type of thing.” Are you kidding me?? This piece cost me $778. Of course I want to check it! The woman that I placed the order with sadly wasn’t there or else I would have asked her. The attitude of the employees have made such an impact that we will no longer be shopping at Ballard Designs which is such a shame because we wanted to order some furniture pieces, rugs and bedding. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. This is the second bad experience I have had at this location so we will not be back!

Beautiful store & items! A must see! I called at the end of the day to place my special order & had the pleasure of being helped by Kylie. Outstanding customer service & spent time making sure everything was correct. I didn't realize the store had closed 40 minutes prior but she never acted like I was keeping her & so sooo pleasant especially after a very busy Saturday retail day! Joyce & Linda also helped to make sure everything was correct with my order! Love to buy pretty things & they all made the experience that much sweeter! Thank you (. ;

I was looking around with my mom and one of the sales associates explained that she couldn’t leave the other associate on the floor alone for policy, which I understand. However, she also gave the reason that it was because I “looked kind of sketchy.” I assume from the way I am dressed? Unacceptable. I was embarrassed and left. I do not plan on returning. Even if it was a joke, I feel shamed for dressing in leggings, a jacket, and hat.

This is a great store. I have been there several times now, and every time I was greeted by a very friendly sales associate. The merchandise is displayed beautifully and is very inspirational. It is a great place for any home needs from doormat, dishes, furniture - everything!

Really nice people with a bit of disorganization and terrible return policies. Ordered a desk and 3 mirrors. The first 2 Loft mirrors arrived broken, Ballard replaced them at no charge. We tried to order the Amiel mirror, but the site had a hiccup and we never got the confirmation page, but we got a notification from amex that we were charged. We called and the rep said they didn't see the order on their end and that it would not be processed and we would not be charged, that “the charge was just an authorization and would fall off" then an extra mirror arrived and we were charged! They said they would set up a return and refund, its been 2 months and we are still waiting for the refund.. they said any day now.. The desk was great quality but it didn't fit, we called for a return and they set it up, they said they would charge $180 for packing if we didn't have the box, we still had it so all good. We got the refund however it was $400 less than what we paid. Called again to see what was up and they said we had to cover shipping both ways.. I asked why this was not disclosed when I called for the return they said it should have been... (Had I known I would have kept it) they are going to check the recordings and get back to me, i'll update this when I hear back from them. I made two custom orders. I was extremely disappointed in product quality, shipping costs and lack of packing on the first order. For the second order I have not received yet. I am disappointed with lack of follow up, lack of communication and postponing delivery date due to them misplacing my fabric. I’m still not sure they found it. Specific answers and request for information is still aloof. I recommend you do business elsewhere and learn from mine and other’s mistakes of doing business with Ballard’s Design.

We ordered 3 custom chairs on Sept 2, 2018. We were told that they would ship by November 20th. We received one chair on time, but the other 2 took another month and multiple phone calls bugging the company. The last two chairs arrived late December with broken and busted wooden bases. We were told that we would receive new bases and they would put a rush on it. Multiple phone calls and delay emails and we STILL haven't received the new chair bases. It is February 9, 2019 as I type this. Worst company ever. Save yourself the hassel and buy furniture anywhere else!

I love this store!! We have purchased quite a few things from them and have loved everything so far. The sales associate along with the management in store are so friendly and helpful! The only reason for the 3 stars is because of their delivery service. When they call to schedule, they are so rude. You can tell they truly do not enjoy their job, very sarcastic and annoyed with any and all questions. Hoping the ones doing the delivery are nicer!
