Went browsing with my toddler son today and had the employees watch me while i looked around. Not one asked if I needed any help with anything and then as I was leaving the store the clerk ,not discretely, said on a walkie talkie "customer A4 and honey are on their way out". Will not be returning to this store!

First time I've been to this store since they renovated and it's such an easier shopping experience as I could find what I was looking for easier and there is so much more to look at. Great service from the team there and happy with my purchases. Best place in the area for drapery for sure.

Ordered four display cases from them, they didn't call when they arrived and sold 2 of them to someone else. Apparently they have no computer system that keeps track of what they order for people. Ended up waiting about 4 months to get all of the cases. When we picked them up their shipping guy was extremely rude and when we complained to their manager she pretty much said it was not his fault he was rude and she wasn't even going to talk to him. Two of the cases were fine when we put them together, the third part of the frame was bent...but we managed to straighten it out. And the forth. It is completely missing half of the damn frame. NEVER buying anything from this store again. The whole experience has been unacceptable and I do not really understand how they have a customer base.

I ordered a bed two months ago pre paid then with it being a King size was told it would be 2-3 weeks for delivery so a month goes by nothing. I keep phoning and dropping in to Jysk the customer service people were for no better word idiots and kept saying it had not arrived then the first of August 2016 I go in to find out the status of my bed and they tell me oh we sold it to someone else as you didn't come pick it up - Hello I have a bloody telephone and nobody called. Now it has finally arrived and they want me to pay $40 for delivery and it is dropped in my drive way how the heck am I to get a king mattress up a flight of stairs and get it into my master bedroom and the old one taken down the stairs. If you can't carry it out I don't recommend Jysk Prince George for purchasing of large items

I have had nothing but bad experiences with the Jysk in Prince George. I wanted to buy one of their on sale be frames in November, but they were out of stock. I figured I would buy another bed frame instead, but the sales person assured me that I could prepay for the frame at the sale price and that it would arrive in a "week or two tops." I checked back regularly and it never arrived. After complaining several times about how long it was taking, I ended up speaking with a manager from Vancouver who profusely apologized for my ordeal and said that he would exchange a more expensive frame that they had in stock for the one that I ordered. That was a week ago. I finally had the chance to go pick it up today and the store manager said that he knew nothing of the deal and that he would therefore not honor it. I have been anxiously awaiting my bed frame for two months now and I have thought to just cancel my order, but I feel like I am too far in to just back out now... It's a matter of principle! There prices are indeed inexpensive, but the quality is generally cheap and the staff are less than enthusiastic to provide customer service. I would not recommend it to anyone!

Was surprised how helpful they were. Went in to grab some cubords for my room and wanted to figure out what would match. The lady grabbed a wood peice so I could compare coulours and was super paitient with my questions. Also they unboxed and measured a bedframe for me to make sure it would fit ( it didn't) and were great. The people working seemed happy, and were joking with each other. The wonderful lady also went out of her way to explain why some stuff was in sale. Was a relaxing experience and I will be back !

We arrived and started looking around with an intent to buy furniture that evening. It took some time before an associate said hello but once we found the furniture Dept the appropriate associate was quick to help. We found what we were looking for and the associate even reserved us another product on the next days truck.

I went in looking for an office desk and came out with an office chair instead. The salesman had an excellent sense of humor and was more than helpful. He even carried the chair right to my car and loaded it.

Great store, but be mindful of quality. Bought a ladies house coat here, and the arms literally FELL off after one day. Very poorly sewn, and very poorly hemmed. Also purchased a fur stool, and after a few days, the fur started to fall off. For a $60 stool, and a $20 house coat, I hoped for better quality. I didn't keep the receipt, so can't even bring the items back. Sad to say, but this has made me cautious to return, and I'll take my business elsewhere in the future.

I’ve noticed that the younger employees are always very friendly and helpful and the older adults just seem so... grouchy. Anyway, the furniture and other items are cute, but I’ve also had furniture items come damaged THREE TIMES. Very inconvenient and annoying to have to fit everything back in the box and haul it back to the store to exchange.

Although I usually have great experianses with Jysk I had a very frustrating incounter this last week. I was in looking for duvet covers, and had stopped in every Tuesday (the day they get there shippments) for three weeks. I was told they didn't have the one I wanted in King size each time. I went to the Jysk website and ordered it in the right size. I was then notified via email that my parcel was in its way FROM the Prince George Jysk. It got here a few days later. There shipping time was great but thats what happens when you're within the same postal code. The duvet is exaxtully what I wanted but was a huge waste of my energy.

you might want to avoid purchasing the BORDING Recliner. It is comfortable, looks good but the welds that hold the stand to the seat break on a regular basis. I had 4 replacements in less tha one year and finally gave up and threw it away.

I bought a sofa last weekend with the free shipping promotion. The delivery was schedule for a Thursday morning, but half an hour before the delivery they call me to confirm and to remind me that they just leave at the door of the building. So useful, because I leave in an apartment building. So I cancelled the delivery. Thank you for not telling me until it's too late. Now I need to ask a friend for a pick up and to carry it ourselves. So much for free shipping.

Sales clerks will sell you something if you REALLY want it...if you persist and keep asking they'll look up from their phone and serve you..IF and only if you ask the right questions. Fist response is "no, we don't have it" I guess the store has neither a database nor an electronic inventory.....? Ordered and paid for a mirror. Some weeks later was called and told mirror was in. Happened to be near the store with my truck, but left receipt at home. Was given the cold shoulder when I tried to pick it up.....what was the name of the article? how much did it cost ? (a voice from somewhere yelled out "he didn't buy it here..we don't have mirrors that cost that much ")...really ? They called me! Don't they have a record of who they called? Eventually they contacted the Shipper via portable radio.....yes, he had my mirror ! Great! Did they have another one the same ? (then we could have the same mirror in both bathrooms). Twenty questions later, yes they had two more in stock. Paid for second mirror. Did they bring them out to me ? No, I had to drive around to the shipping dock. I asked the Shipper if we could open the cartons to check the articles ( some of the display mirrors had chipped corners ) Grudgingly, he opened the cartons, and they were fine. Nice mirrors at a good price. Service not so much.
