The staff at this store are very helpful and friendly. However, calling this tadpole sized store a super store is a total joke. The fresh produce amounts to about 6 prepackaged items , dairy is about 20 feet—such a small amount of fridge that staff can’t keep up working at double time during peak periods(Yah-not!), no fresh meats of any sort… honestly for those who would have to rely on the groceries from this store would quickly become malnourished. More effort and floorspace is given to their electronics department than to their groceries… My understanding is a SuperWM was to have a substantial amount of grocery floorspace? This store certainly not what I think Sam would be satisfied with… Come on corporate, we are over 120 miles from the next REAL SUPERSTORE (for you that don’t know that’s just shy of 200km’s)… Fort Frances needs what was promised a true superstore not just corporate promises that never develop!

I went thru he till and this beautiful soul had a name tag that said "they/them" I asked then if they were being treated okay once people noticed his name tag on his uniform. He chuckled and said "actually, I was just told that only females or woman are allowed to wear a skirt to work. Hearing this tore my heart a little. Its 2021. Gender is an idea forced upon society. The fact the someones clothing choice can be cause for a write up or even termination. Women wear pants: why can men express themselves the way they want too?! Why can't men wear what makes then happy too.. men should be able to wear skirts without close minded people thinking "its wrong or weird".. rules and regulations should be updated for our LGTBQ2 family members!!!!! Thank for coming to my ted talk.

Don't go in expecting they have what you want/need in stock and you'll do fine. Clean enough store and nice enough staff or whatever they want to call them. Best prices if it's in stock.

Lines are usually long. (See pic below) Basic selection and product as you would expect from Walmart. Their seasonal section usually has some good items. As well as some good deals/ low prices on various items. Had to return an item - purchased the wrong model and the customer service was very professional about it and I had no issues with returning it a few days later.

This store carries everything. The downfall here....the staff. It always seems to be hit and miss with the friendliness/helpfulness of staff. When asking if they carry a certain item...the response was sorry we don't carry that. While looking for something else we found the item they said they don't carry. New employees need to be trained on how to bag grocery items. You don't pack butter on top of bread and chips or dishsoap on top of food items. Overall a well stocked store.

Delivery drivers do not break seal by your self posting because they don't have printer , paper , pen to write a note at entrances of shipping department. Shipper please learn how to respect driver's they are not thief's they can make good money by hardworking to buy anything .... no need to steal the products from trailers.

Very helpful staff found what I needed was in and out of the Store as planned. This is a smaller Walmart but a great Walmart. It would be awesomely awesome if Fort Frances Walmart had a complete groceries shopping area with a bakery and full cut meats.

Disappointed in their Covid enforcement. No attempts to enforce physical distancing by management. No limits on groups. No attempts to keep numbers low (over 240 allowed in store when they started at ~60). Also, lack of staples that other Walmart’s of comparable sized communities would have ample stores of.

It’s a small Walmart but it’s cute. Lots of staff around to help. Always happy to help and if you can’t find something they will check in the back to see if there is still stock. The makeup aisles aren’t the cleanest but I think that’s to be found everywhere.
