Went thru drive thru tonight. Expected a nice hot McChicken sandwich when I got home, Nope!!!! I got a salad on buns with a light dusting of McChicken sauce for dressing. I called and they made things right. Thanks for keeping things interesting, Fort Frances McDonalds!!

Get drive thru right and dont be cheap when someone upgrades fries and there arnt any more in the larger container. And some customer service wouldn't hurt

I went through the drive thru, and I asked for 2 quarter pounders with cheese with EXTRA onions (even says it on the receipts). What did I get? None on both of them. Also asked for a cheeseburger. Almost everything was fine with it. But, when I took it out of the bag, it was FREEZING cold. I opened it up, and the buns were soggy to the point if i poked it water came out and felt like they were literally just slapped on straight from the freezer. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the fries were good and besides no onions the quater pounders were okay.

Only 2 staff members working when we arrived @ the McDonald's in Canada. When we patiently waited to be helped, the lady had nothing but a rude behavior and a bad attitude towards us. (Side note: this McDonald's needs to get buffalo sauce here because people are missing out)

Can be a great place to get your arteries clogged and relaxed. Love going there when im thinking of hanging out with friends and munching on salty fries lol. The wait time can be iffy, but its pretty good from what ive experienced also! Make sure to check your orders because theyre known to make mistakes

Drive through says that they are open 24/7 but this is not true for some days. Everything you would expect from a McDonald’s. Love their new renovations and their high speed wifi I was able to do exactly what I needed on it. We got exactly what we ordered in a prompt time. Would recommend their apple pies they are delicious!

Went to go get lunch with my boyfriend at this McDonalds and I was completely disappointed with the service. I worked at a McDonalds not too long ago and if we served the way this restaurant did, it would be completely unacceptable. It took very long for them to get our food and once it was on the tray, they placed it in front of the counter while we watched it get cold. I also ordered a coffee which took about 10 minutes for them to actually bring to our table. Not only was the service unacceptable but one of the crew members was cleaning the lobby and sprayed us with table cleaner. I kind of just wish they would make their store more organized. It also seems as if the crew members aren't treated well by management.

First time at McDonald's in along time. This one seemed to be terribly slow. 10mins to get a grilled chicken burger inside. I'm assuming the cleanliness was average as I think they've cut cleaning staff way back in most fast food places over the past few years. This location has a self serve order kiosk. Looks confusing for the first time.

I'm not sure why, but this location has superior quality to any of the other locations in Northern Minnesota. Maybe it's due to different Canadian standards. I don't know. All I know is that the taste and quality is head and shoulders better than on the US side.

Terrible late night meals. The food quality after 8pm plummets and there is seemingly zero quality control. Soda fountain machines has little to none carbonation, french fries taste as if they've been sitting since the supper rush, and if you ask for saltless fries you get, well salted fries still. The parchement paper that held the burger was soaked in grease and was mildly warm. If you want a good McDonalds meal, try to get it during dinner where there are supervisors and quality control. Otherwise, you're going to waste your money.

As a retired employee of McDonald's in Thunder Bay, I was totally not impressed with the service at this location. I watched the manager place our burgers back and forth from the tray to the warming bin. She was waiting for the fry person to return to package the fries(which were cooked and hanging out of the grease) instead of packaging them herself and sending us on our way. Food was barely warm. This was Monday May 14th, 2018 around 11:am. Very disappointed!!

The girl with short hair that worked the night shift was extremely rude and gave me and my friends unseasonably poor customer service. If you are working at McDonald's, I'm sorry thats your job and just because you had the night shift gives you no right to be rude and grumpy.

My order was made, and I got to watch my food get cold behind the counter while the students behind the desk just talked amongst themselves. Had to wait 10 minutes for a latte to be made. And the manager was slapping her employee's hands out of the way and talking down to them. Then when our order was finally at our table, was then sprayed with cleaner. Very displeased with the service.

Everything you come to expect from McDonald's. Completely up to date modern design. I would give it 5 stars but I've been here about 7 times and they messed up my order twice as of Oct 2020. I'm a fan of consistentcy. Once is okay but twice in a week is ridiculous. Otherwise, perfect.

Puts the fast in fast food. Not every visit the cashiers are totally nice but your hungry and end up not minding :P. They have definately gotten better than when I first met this restaurant maybe around the age of 8 or 9! Hit or miss if food will make u feel uneasy :(

The service sucks one of the worst for McDonald's in Canada I've been too. You might get better service if the older people work has long the other ones don't knock your number off board too soon. This place use to be good but has gone downhill. I've waited for up to 20 minutes to take one large coffee with one sugar for out and this has happened more then once. I've Quit going . Burgers are expensive for the price compared to other places which are way nicer, anyway.
