well organized store. have good item displays. the isles are well spaced and there are many staff available in each department when needed assistance or guidance. the whole store is in well layed out plan making shopping very convenient. whenever there is a chance for me to visit flinflon canadian tire, i make it a point to swing by, as there are many things you will not realize is available until you see them in the store. it helps to buy when you have a visual idea, and this store delivers that.

I had original receipt with everything in original boxes and because the one manager was being absolutely rude and not letting me speak refused to return my items and I called toll free number a supervisor then emailed the managers and said there was no reason for them not to return the items and told me to go into the store the next day so I went in and the other manager then called the other manager up cause the one who refused me the day before called the other one and explained that he refused me yesterday so the other manager got snarky and extremely rude and said they couldn't refund me yet i have spent easily over $2000 at canadian tire in the last two months and they won't return my 125 dollars wirth of unopened still in the packaging stuff or give me back my money from my cameras that were on sale for $79.99 yet charged me $199.99 so they made me pay an extra 120 on top of what I should have yet they can't give me my money back... Im a single mom of 2 children and its covid so money is already tight and yet they enjoy robbing single moms who faithfully spend alot of money at there store!! Exchange place for Soda Stream C02 canisters. They do an exchange for empty canisters. Be sure to call ahead as they sell out quick. Wal-Mart does not do the exchange program in Estevan, I think Can Tire is the only place here right now that does.

Typical town Canadian Tire. Trying to have everything for everyone, so maximizing inventory space means smaller isles and crowded isle-ways. Found what we wanted. Had a wide variety of winter equipment stacked in the seasonal outdoor covered section. Checkout staff was nice.

Watch there pricing, they purposely place prices , that are wrong , then when you get to till there is a different price for product. They have excuses all the time, but the long and short of it is, it's done on purpose hopping you will just pay the price , instead of saying, no thanks ...keep it ... I will buy it from some where else. This is not a isolated, indecent. Lived in estevan for 10 years, and it happened , multiple times a year.

Today I tried to buy a new battery for my lawnmower by going through the auto entrance. After all that is where the batteries are kept. I could not get into the store without a tremendous amount of trouble. I am in a walker as I have a broken ankle. Turnstiles cannot be used in a walker but it did say to use the other side, which I did but that side does not open and if it did there was a bin of goods in front. Seems Cdn Tire wants you to walk through their entire store even if you are in a walker or wheelchair. I bought my battery and by the time I got to the car after all that walking I was and still am in a lot of pain. Thanks Cdn. Tire. Can't say when I'll be back.

If you like to spend money for nothing...get your car fixed here! They do the bare minimum. I brought my car into them to fix an issue because my rear tires wore down to the cords so they made me buy 4 tires ($581) instead of just two because I have an AWD and they said the issue was caused by a worn bushing so I paid them $400 to fix it and then 7k kms later my rear tires were worn down to the cords again and it cost me another $251 to replace them AGAIN and they said oh well we thought that the bushing was the issue. They misinformed me because they said there was no alignment needed in the rear. I have never had any luck with Canadian Tire mechanics ripping me off and Elliot Lake is no exception!

Very friendly customer service employees ........., an employee has already gone to dinner while she was not finished answering me. The employees of the caisses are probably the most smiling. If we forget the service, it's a very good store, everything is in its place and we do not look too long. I highly recommend . (Original) Bon magasin, pour acheter des outils et les produits pour la voiture....tous. Par contre, les commis sont plus ou moins aidants, la plupart du temps quand tu as besoin d'aide il n'y a personne, et quand tu finis par trouver quelqu'un, tu as droit à une réponse brève et vague ou bien ils appellent quelqu'un d'autre. These guys saved my butt. This location did not have what I needed to make an inverter they had in stock work for my application so Matt and Bob were able to modify existing jumper cables to work with the inverter for my application. These guys saved my he day. Props to northern ingenuity. I would not have been able to make this work otherwise. And Canadian Tire, if you read this, your staff are what makes your mark in the community, not fancy marketing. These guys deserve recognition.

They have a lot of inventory but that being said, the negative is narrow isles throughout the store. You can barely push a cart without banging into corners which I find difficult with three young children, so it's noticeable for me.) **EDIT when I was asked to write a review, I mistakenly thought it was for the Canadian Tire in Espanola. The review in brackets is for the Espanola location and the difference is that the isles are not as narrow or difficult to navigate in Elliot Lakes' Canadian Tire and I would not have removed a star from my rating.

Have to travel 140 km to the nearest store in Flin. And what? This last visit to Canadian Tire was awful. We were to pick up a kayak, which was purchased as a gift and to be picked up today. We went there and the kayak was nowhere to be found!! Five or six employees muddled about for over an hour, with no success finding the paid for kayak! My partner, because of a trip planned this week, purchased another kayak at $100 more than the one purchased, as a gift. Further to that, last Fall, I purchased 4 tires and some other items valued at over a thousand bucks. When I got to the till, the cashier asked me for around $300. I mentioned that couldn't be correct. She could not have charged me for the tires, which were $600. After a few minutes, fussing with the till, she assured me that the amount was indeed around $300. I paid her but when I got to my car, I could not leave the parking lot. I went back to the store, explained what had just occurred. I insisted there was an error and paid the $600 for the tires!! Cashier training: fail!!

I give this place the worst possible rating I can. I had a manager of the store named sue threaten to call the RCMP on me after I questioned her on a price check in the store. Then she lied to me about why the price was wrong and I called her on it. She then caused a huge scene and actually argued with me in the store over an $8 price discrepancy, and said she would have me removed from the store, for simply questioning an unclearly marked price. This place is a complete joke. This lady should be fired! Seriously go to Walmart or anywhere else. Support business that actually care about their customers. This lady doesn't deserve to have a job. Ide give a 0/5 but 1 is the lowest I can go . SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE

I had some issues this last time I went there, however as I was leaving the parking lot in my vehicle, one of the older women that works there asked if she could help me. I would give zero stars if it was possible. My wife wrote an email complaint to the store owner last week about a terrible experience we had with the clerk who was on duty at the service desk. Have not heard a word from the owner as of yet, five days later. I noticed that the owner only seems to respond to the good reviews on the web site. Some of the staff need retraining in the customer service department. I will no longer be shopping here in Elliot Lake at this Canadian Tire store, I will now be going to Espanola if I really need anything from Canadian Tire.

The Elliot Lake online service is a joke. When I placed an order online at 11:30 am, the Point Of Sale online inventory shows they had plenty of the item on stock. My store pick up was assigned as the following day. I immediately received a notice that the order is being process. I noticed the store inventory started to decrease slowly. The next morning, I noticed the store inventory slowly decreasing to ZERO. At 12:30 pm, I received an email that my order has been CANCELLED ( not by me ) and no rain check. Why did they fill my online order at the last second??? Filed compliant with a reference number to the corporate office. No response from them either. Everywhere else, Canadian Tire is doing a fine job building their online pickup service. Not here in Elliot Lake.

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, they do the best they can with the limited space they have. One cashier, who I assume is the head cashier, is extremely rude and overbearing. On several occasions I've witnessed her belittle and berate other cashiers and customers, including myself on one occasion. I've heard her talk about customers who were only a few feet away at the next cash register. She needs to be fired ASAP. I WILL be talking to the manager the next time I witness such disgusting degrading behaviour. It's nice to see the new managers fire some of the other ignorant people especially those who worked in the parts department for so long.

Purchased a "PowerSport" battery a few weeks ago. Brought it home and took it out of the package. It was undersized but the salesperson recommended it would work since it was a 12 volt and meant for quads, boats, and sea-doos. After following the instructions and trickle charging the battery over night. I hooked it up to my quad and it wouldn't even turn the quad starter over. I bring it into Estevan Canadian Tire to exchange it for a larger battery and id pay the difference. The salesperson couldn't test the battery and suggested I come back the next day (an hour drive for me) so I could speak t to the manager because it was his day off. Refused to help in any way. Assured me it was my fault that his salesman recommended me a smaller battery. Refused to return or exchange it since the battery acid had been used in the battery. Don't know how one would charge a battery dry to test it to make sure it would work for an application they assured me it would be sufficient for. Battery had been used once and set in the porch until the next time I came into the city to return it. I had original warranty card and receipt but was still met with an aggressive "you bought it, it's your fault it doesn't work". This is not the type of professionalism I've come to expect from Canadian Tire. Not impressed, do you own research before listening to the salespersons "professional" suggestions.

Horrible place to deal with. Girls at customer service were super rude. Manager came and she was even worse. All we wanted to do was return an item NOT USED they were mean about it. They blamed we used it after seeing white stuff on it which was from then packing!!! So they try to find another excuse. Lots of helpful staff. Very direct and to the point. Lots of variety for a medium sized town Canadian tire. Garage has been known to overcharge but is always ready to make it right when you notice the issue! Always has some sort of sale event happening. Most of the grocery carts have seat belts that aren’t broken which is a great change when you have two little ones to bring in. Great for rain checks. Auto parts staff is a bit understaffed at times but for the most part is very knowledgeable. We frequent here almost every week and very rarely is it a negative shop for us! Overall a great experience Would recommend to any do it yourself-er or auto enthusiast.

Very disappointed in this Digby store. I have medical issues an they no it. Not allowed to shop there after I been shopping there the last year. Last time they let me in they announced over the PA that there was a man in the store with no mask. Very unprofessional. Funny cause all other ctc stores would let me shop. He dealt with it professionally, with understanding and made me feel that customer service is still alive. I am from Alberta in Snow Lake on Holidays and attended the Flin Flon Location to purchase a pressure washer that was in the flyer for $399 (of which the store said it had 2 in stock and 2 were showing in stock on line). It was a 2.5 hour drive to get to the Flin Flon store over some pretty crappy roads only to find out that the store didn’t have stock as they were misplaced or possibly stolen ? After 40 minutes of looking, I was told by the Assistant Manager that there was none in stock and there was nothing they could do to help the situation. They could sell me another one that was on sale for $100 more without any additional discount.... I asked if there was anything they could do to better the price a little as I really wanted the other one... and was told “NO” and that was final. After committing to a 5 hour road trip to get a Father’s Day Gift... I did not intend to return empty handed and ended up purchasing a better one at WalMart for $389... I do not think this Canadian Tire should have sent me packing so easily !! Canadian Tire is a great Store with a lot of good Staff and good Product !! The Management team at this store could learn a lesson or two from the previous Management or others successful stores - Customer Service is where it counts ! On a good note.... I contacted the Canadian Tire Head Office Customer Service department and they were more than helpful (Hats off to them).

On Wednesday 19 February 2020, my wife and I attended the Elliot Lake CTC for the purpose of purchasing snowshoes. We were assisted by a store associate by the name of Terry. This gentleman has the patience of Jobe. He went above and beyond any service we have ever received at any big city CTC. He retrieved at least three different sets (brands) of snowshoes for each of us, and ensured that they fit and that we were comfortable with our purchase. This gentleman is a real credit to his store and should be recognized as such.
