I loved this service. You can pick your designer and the communication is SO easy through text. I have worked with the same designer on two projects who has been wonderful. I tried Modsy and DO NOT use their service, Havenly is much more personalized and care about your thoughts for the design. I will say this service is strictly for furniture/decor. Asking for ides of flooring, paint or even TV technology is out of their wheel house. The Tv recommendation was disappointing because it was a part of the room but we can figure that out. I would love to see them join up with a service for technology :) The cost is very reasonable.

I have used Havenly twice and both times have been really positive experiences! What I love about Havenly is the designers are so easy to work with and they truly try to understand the feeling you are trying to create in your space and be respectful of your budget. I am not great at visualizing how everything will come together, so their concepts and layouts were really helpful. They find the best across many stores to save you the time and effort searching for the perfect pieces. They also make sure everything is properly sized for your space so that you don't have to think about it. I love that I've been able to elevate spaces in my home for such a reasonable cost!

Loved Havenly, the designer worked with my exact tastes and went back and forth with me so much I can't believe I didn't drive her crazy! Easily went above and beyond for me and now my living room looks perfect. The best part was the customer service hands down. It was spectacular and you know they truly care and do whatever they can to help you. Angela in particular was the best! I would sign up for the service for other rooms simply because of that.

My husband and I have used Havenly three times now--two full room design packages for our office and nursery, as well as the mini package for our bathroom. I can't say enough good things about Havenly, their services and their designers. I have exclusively worked with Shelby and think the world of her and her talents. I've also referred many friends to Havenly and they've worked with various designers; everyone has ended up happy. In short, you can't go wrong with any of their designers. I think Havenly is a genius concept, and only wish I had thought of it first. You pick the designer. You set the budget. Havenly collaborates with you throughout the design process. You end up with a room design you love, for $199. Amazing. I talk about Havenly so much people have asked me if I work for them. No, I don't (unless they're hiring!); I just truly think they've got a great thing going and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a professionally designed room without the professionally designed price.

I didn't know what to expect when I first signed up for Havenly - it was an experiment - but long story short, I ended up using them for all three rooms I needed decorated! I worked with Brooke who really knew how to translate my musings (or probably closer to mutterings) about what I wanted into a real vision and more importantly got who I am and how I wanted to represent it in my home (and do it in budget). From the big pieces to the little touches there's no way I could have gotten the style, design and polish that I wanted. Thank you Brooke! I also want to give a big shoutout to the entire Havenly customer success team - buying through them made the process effortless and when I had issues with deliveries, they were on top of it. Havenly is the best investment you'll make in decorating your home - don't even think twice about it!

I LOVE what Havenly has done for our home! We moved into our home last year and our designer helped us transform our dark unused living room into a bright, warm, and functional room in our house. The designed responded quickly to our ideas and guided us to make some choices we wouldn't otherwise have considered. They charged my card but didn’t provide the service. If my card didn’t go because of a security code error, why hold the funds? Customer service won’t answer. It’s just a voicemail. Wish I would have used another service.

This company is run by horrible management and should never be given the chance to further abuse its lower level employees. My friend used to work for Havenly. While she is a good and VERY hard worker, and she produced exceptional work (even lauded by her coworkers and some higher ups), I cannot give this company a good review. Havenly abuses the efforts of its designers, paying them the lowest tier wages, and expecting perfection from them in all efforts, all the while providing borderline zero assistance and failing to communicate. The lack of communication is probably Havenly's biggest downfall. Despite being an online business, the management is unusually terrible at communicating. They apparently can't respond to emails within 3-4 days (despite holding their employees to exceptionally high communication standards), and more often than note they actually ignore emails, no matter how important. The company doesn't treat employees well, even blocking them from communication boards which are intended to clear up communication issues in the first place. Havenly has expressed on multiple occasions that it doesn't care about its employees, and it refuses to show that its management can actually communicate with anyone. The pay at Havenly is also abysmal. My friend averaged roughly the equivalent of $12,000-$13,000 salaries. This means (according to the US poverty line) that my friend was impoverished, despite working more than 40 hours per week on multiple projects and constantly emailing and calling to talk with everyone involved on each project. No one who works that much and that hard, with a 4-year bachelor's degree in interior design and architecture should ever make so little money. Havenly is an absolute abomination of a company, and should never be given any chance to further abuse the efforts of its employees. The workers who take on projects may be competent young designers looking for a flexible work environment--and that may be the case for some of them! But Havenly's management and upper level individuals don't even deserve the time of day. They cannot be relied on to provide appropriate communication and operate with proper business ethics. Don't ever give Havenly your money. Instead, try to work with other interior designers on a more individual basis. You will more than likely receive the same or even better design results, and will be given a less company-oriented and more individual-oriented designer experience. (To be clear, the higher ups in the company are the problem. The lower level employees--the designers you would have the most direct contact with--are good hard workers.)

I've have designed three rooms with Havenly. The designers were all pretty good, and gave me an end product I really liked but every single one went over my budget. The problem is buying items through Havenly and their customer service. I have been told I could return items at West Elm in the store, and after doing this, found out it all has to be done through Havenly, which was a huge hassle. I have also had a few items shipped to me that were expensive but cheap in quality, and was not able to return for the full price. Responses are always delayed and customer service has not been helpful. I would recommend NOT buying items through Havenly, and instead go to the company directly in order to get appropriate customer service.

To start off, I love Havenly! I work from home and I was in need of a fully functioning office. I came across Havenly and was a little skeptical using an internet interior design company. I'm glad I was proven wrong! Havenly did an amazing job putting together our office, stayed on budget and met all of their time lines. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family!

I've had a real challenge getting a living/dining room area (that blends into a kitchen) laid out and furnished in a way that I really looked forward to returning to and felt comfortable in. A friend recommended Havenly as a resource to distill my ideas, design esthetic and space constraints into a layout plan I could execute on. While the process requires a lot of personal and decisive input, the designer I worked with was extremely patient with and adept at interpreting my ideas (likes and dislikes) into a finished product that I am extremely pleased with. It was not without it's moments of frustration (not with the designer but with making design decisions) but I felt like the Havenly team navigated this with ease and made the process ultimately a success!

Had my dining room done with Havenly a year ago and was very happy with the process. My dining room is bright and happy which is what I wanted. Meredith created 2 options for me but also included multiple options for each piece of furniture to go in there. Some options were expensive, some were not. I've used Havenly to design three rooms in my home: my living room, bedroom, and home office. I've been blown away each time. Each designer I've worked with takes the time to understand my personal style, my budget, and likes / dislikes (for example: I like jute and wood, but not marble.) I went with a Full package, and received a 3D design of what my room would actually look like at the end of my project. Spoiler alert: my living room now looks just like this now! I couldn't recommend Havenly enough - and the prices for interior design just can't be beat.

Havenly is an amazing partner in crime for designing a home you love! I first used Havenly in 2015 for my living room and used it again when I recently moved for my dining room and office. I had a few pieces (e.g., dining room table, vase) that I loved and my designer Sydney helped me build a cohesive design around it. The 3D design helped bring it to life before purchasing and I appreciated that my designer provided options for chairs at different price points.

Overall, it was a fun experience even though I ended up not loving my final concept or purchasing anything. It was well designed but didn't really capture what I wanted for the room, despite providing tons of photo samples and a clear description of what I wanted. I was a little disappointed with that. However, my designer was very friendly and provided fast turnarounds. I think this service would work best for someone that does NOT have a clear or precise idea of what they want and who is very open to accepting any design given. Excellent website platform.

I suppose it's our fault for not heeding other reviews we read, but after a wonderful experience with Havenly's designer we made the massive mistake of ordering furnishings through them. After placing the order at one price, what we were actually charged was more than $500 more than the amount we authorized! And because we placed the order through Havenly, there is no recourse to cancel. Worse, after three days and multiple attempts to contact customer service for help with the problem we've had zero response! This is not only terrible customer service, but potentially fraudulent business practice. I demand a response and a refund!

I have now worked on three rooms in my home with Havenly designers, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the process, the designers, and the customer service. The ordering process is also extremely user-friendly and efficient. My most recent designer, Stafford B., is nothing short of fabulous. She helped me start basically from scratch decorating my bedroom (I had a bed and curtains and nothing else for a very large room). By using the information from my initial questionnaire and my Pinterest board, she created concepts that were exactly in line with what I was hoping for. She integrated my feedback into the concept revisions seamlessly and pulled together a final product that was truly my dream bedroom (and my husband loves it too!). She also took me outside of my comfort zone, which I really appreciate! Stafford is so personable and easy to work with, as well as responsive and honest. I would work with her again in a heartbeat and will also be recommending her to my friends. I believe that no matter what your design style, she could create something unique and special. I think Havenly is a fun and affordable way to seek design guidance and would highly recommend the company!

Heavenly really depends on a designer. I have had a simply amazing experience with one designer who felt very authentic( not scripted like a lot of heavenly), extremely detail oriented and timely and a dissapointing one with another designer. When I wrote to customer service, I didn't feel like I was heard and understood, which is frustrating in itself, but they did offer to replace the designer or refund the service fee. Overall, I would still recommend Heavenly to all of my friends but probably only my designer who I worked with who made all the difference in our house.

Proceed with caution! I ordered an item via Havenly with the expectation that it would be delivered in early December 2020 (incorrectly advertised during the checkout process). The ETA was initially changed to March 2021 and now its been pushed back again until May (and can be further delayed 30+ days). After requesting a refund, there has been very slow communication and the unwillingness to refund my money prior to talking to an unresponsive vendor (supposedly). The lack of efficient business processes, the inability to give an accurate ETA on an item they're selling, and the poor customer service gives them a 1-star in my book.

I paid for the full service and still haven't received an email or anything. This is the second time I had to choose a different designer because they said the first designer I originally booked was available immediately for my project. I picked another designer because I let them know I wanted to start immediately and same thing happened, said she was available immediately and now they say she is finishing up another project. It's unfortunate because it looks like they have a great service but it's not ok to take a customers money for a full package and then change when the designer can take you. The other thing that I think is rude is not to receive any email, no communication, once you pay them! Not happy!

My girlfriend worked there for a month. Being "on the review" period, (which they don't tell the clients about) quickly realized she was making in hourly terms .30 cents an hour (enraging slave labor!!). They sold the idea to her of being able to work whenever and just taking a few hours on each design. Reality was, she had to go back and forth with the clients whenever they changed their mind, making unpaid revisions to her designs until the client was completely happy, and having the pressure of deadlines everyday!!, and to top it off, pray the clients would make a purchase in order to get some money on commissions, and if the clients don't buy anything, they steal your design and go elsewhere to buy things at a cheaper price. However, she realized her 4 year Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and Architecture is worth waaaaay more than the less than $300 she made for that month. Use this services, you will supporting slave-kind labor.... ????

My husband and I had our bedroom designed by Sarah. We have never used an interior decorator before and found the experience both enjoyable and easy. We are extremely pleased with our design and can't wait to finish to see the finished product. Sarah was wonderful with her designs and working with our style and budget. Havenly has made the ordering processes easy and the costumer service is amazing. We would definitely recommend this experience to others.

First, it took about four - six days for someone to reach out. (Not 24 hrs as advertised) Then; the colors chosen were way off the existing siding (we were working on an outside design). Seemed the designer just picked all of the “Colors of the Year” by Benjamin Moore and sent them over. Then, mid way I got a message I was reassigned a different designer but she said “that was an accident with our app.” Almost 20 days later and I still don’t have a functioning design. Havenly is a great idea, but the internal functioning of the company is pretty bad.

I paid for the service and got really excited about working with a designer. I got an initial generic email from the designer when scheduled the consultation after paying for the full design service. At the time of the scheduled call, I never heard anything. I sent an email and used the chat feature in the Havenly app and never got a reply. I just want a refund, this is so unprofessional. It’s too bad, I was really looking forward to my new home office design, but in this case, they have wasted my time and I have zero confidence in the designer or the company since I can’t seem to get ahold of anyone. There’s another reviewer who had a similar experience. Consider yourself lucky if your design worked out :).

I was very excited to use this service to design a large space in a new home. My designer quit working for Havenly in the midst of the process after submitting some lackluster designs that were nothing like the Vision boards we originally discussed. At this point, It’s now 30 days after I paid the designer fee. I am contacted and provided a $30 credit and given three suggestions of designers who can start on the project immediately. I select one of these projects and I’m told it will be one week, then 2 weeks, then 30 more days. Very disappointed and will use the free services available through pottery barn or another furniture company. Update: I did end up giving the process another chance. It is not a quick process, though the designer I worked with was very polite and attentive and communicated well with me regarding timelines. Products were frequently no longer available and additional time was invested in finding substitutions. One of the vendors sent the wrong product, I initiated the return and 4 business days later had not heard back from the returns department despite an email saying they would be in touch in 1-2 days. I did reach out to the general helpline and they responded immediately with request for additional information and promise to respond in 1-2 business days. I did like the easy ordering, easy price match guarantee and ability to use vendor coupons for additional savings. I do wish they had product reviews on their site.

there is no way i can afford a local interior decorater, yet i was able to hire a professional, courtesy of Havenly's affordable online interior decorating services. my designer Shelby is so creative and working with her is SO fun! i get all giddy when a new message arrives from her saying that my concepts or room renderings are ready to review! there is a questionnaire in the beginning of the decorating process that is so thorough, capturing all info about your current space, as well as your needs for design and functionality. i had no idea that an online service could come so close to mimicking an in-person design experience, but Havenly has exceeded my expectations. im working on my 3rd room with them now, and two more to follow. very very highly recommended!
