Dean came to my home to give me a quote when I asked him to do some remodeling work on my hall closet doors. He responded by giving me a written quote within a few days. I told him to go ahead with the project and he gave me a date when he and a member of his team would be arriving to replace the doors. He called a day ahead to confirm that they were coming and arrived on time the next day. They completed the job in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Dean and his team for any home improvement project. First class job!

Similar to the guy-Mike off of Holmes on Homes, Dean doesn't cut any corners and gets things done right. I called for Dean's services in regards to my energy efficiency (my Hydro was over $1400 for a 2 month billing cycle!) For my newly purchased home (1978 home). He was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly to me. My expensive home inspection missed a few critical important details, which Dean was able to address and helped me recognize what I needed to do, to solve the heating loss problem. His crew was very friendly and a pleasure to have work in the house. Although I was only able to immediately fix one of the energy issues (attic insulation), I seen a dramatic decrease on my Hydro bill ($1000 for a 2 month cycle now). I am slowly working on the list of things Dean suggested that I get repaired to address my heating loss issues. When it came time for us to purchase a house over here in the Comox Valley we had a 2 day window where my girls where with me. So I set up with the realtor what I wanted and the areas in which I was interested in. There where 10 houses we agreed to look at that weekend, I told my realtor that I liked Dean’s house he built the most so we looked at that one first and that is all I needed. The finishing’s and attention to detail was next level! My wife loved it also but wanted to see a few more just to compare and we only got through 5 other houses as it wasn’t event comparable. The other thing with Dean and Coastal Custom Homes is if anything goes wrong ie. House settling after the first year. He is extremely easy to get a hold of and handles the situations professionally and in a timely matter. He’s a great family guy that takes his business extremely serious. I highly recommend Dean and his team at Coastal Custom Homes if you are looking to get your house built and if you are lucky you may be able to snag one of his already built homes!
