I would not recommend this company AT ALL. The installation was incredibly sloppy and I was left with torn up walls and huge marks all over the place. Shelves and inserts that I paid a hefty price for were missing. After attempts to contact them I was promised the missing pieces would be delivered but it is almost a year later and still nothing. I have left messages and emails but have now given up. I originally went with Cali Closets because of the good name, despite the price being higher than other companies. What a mistake :(

It took me over 2 months to get an appointment! The day before the appointment I get an email nagging that I never completed the forms... I never received the forms! I call, they argue saying that the forms were sent! I wrote back to the person telling her to send them again... nothing! I call back to let them know! Argue again... Not a very accommodating team! And after 2 and a half months waiting just for a designer to draw up my closets + 12 weeks in production... Horrible terrible experience!

Very unprofessional service , I had a very good previous experience with the company outside Canada , my room lasted for years with no complain which encouraged me for a repeat trial . In Ottawa the experience was a nightmare the doors closing system was failing day two even before they finish the installation , their representative didn't advice the correct type of mattress Which lift us with an extra wrong mattress otherwise losing the warranty for the Murphy bed which had fallen apart 9 months after use & although it's under warranty we had to pay 146 dollars for them to come & see about repairs with misuse allegation from their representative who to this day a year after delivery didn't deliver the doors handles . For a tiny room that costed more than 12000 $ I was foolish enough to expect good quality & professional service . If you live in Ottawa don't waste your money & look for a company that actually care.

I had an amazing experience with California Closets. The project to extend my main bedroom closet and transform it into a walk-in started in January but was put to an halt shortly before the start of the build due to COVID. The last piece was installed today, September 9. My representative Katrina Menkes, stayed in constant communication with a wonderful, positive attitude. The result is beyond my expectations. I have already recommended her to my friends and would not hesitate to call her again for any future project.

Where to begin... 1) Waited over a month for the design team to show up. 2) As for the installation... they came 5 times and each time with a missing piece. 3) In the mean time the hanger had time to break due to an incomplete installation, making matters worse... 4) Once they sold the units, the design team weren’t available to update us at all, blaming things on the Covid, the demand, the stars not be aligned... anything but themselves! 5) The whole process took over 8 months (and still counting) and we still don’t have our wardrobes. 6) they have respected only 2 out of 6 appointments and showed up on time. The rest were either rescheduled or at least an hour late. Horrible experience!
