Great experience. Had to special order a balcony planter which was going to take about a week. I needed it sooner so they phoned another store nearby. Turned out they had one so I got it in a day. Excellent service! Also very pleasant staff.

I will never shop here again, the staff is so rude and disrespectful, the first thing out of the cashier's mouth once I walked in was (get out no dogs allowed) in a rude tone, she did not stop to consider for one second this dog is my anxiety service dog. Even after I exclaimed it's a service dog, the cashier's response to me was (ya right I don't believe you). Never will I ever shop at this location.

Went to the location on 13th and Pitt to pick up an item. Turns out they moved to Vincent Massey Drive. No problem - just down the street. With a big Home Hardwaresign should be easy to spot. Well, first problem is that there is absolutely no signage if one comes from town or from the old store. And a lot of places on Vincent Massey show no house numbers so I ended up going way past the location. Coming back on Vincent Massey there is a big sign but that is only visible coming from out of town. They need to add a sign on the sie of the building facing Vincent Massey. Second issue is the terrible racket inside the store they call music. We had planned to look through the store and buy some more items in addition to the pick up but that racket gave everyone in the group an almost instant headache an we quickly paid to get out of the store. Third issue is that some of the cashes areset up so that the customer cannot see the screen to see what price comes up when scanning an item. Not that there wasa scanning issue, but I believe that set up is illegal. And finally, when leaving it turns out that the parking rows are set up too close together. There was a pickup truck parked across from my car which is just a mid-size and it took a lot of manoeuvring to get out. All in all not a great experience first time visiting the new store. Great that it's that much bigger which hopefully means a better selection but until they get rid of that awful music I won't be back.

Very disorganized in the COVID protocols. At the other location, they had curb side pickup, you stayed in your car and they brought the order out, along with a debit machine taped to a long stick. It worked, though. At the new location, there were about 8 people in line, but outside. I was told that’s the way they have to do it now, but Canadian Tire still does true curb side pickup. The 2 women argued with me when I told them that there were 8 people freezing outside, waiting for 1/2 hour to pick up. They said it was because they have to cut down on contact between people. So making people get in line, and then go into a vestibule will do this??

Did a call in and for a curbside pickup. What amazing service, they did not have the item in the store, but they did in their Ingleside location and brought it to Cornwall on the same day. When I arrived to pickup it, the young lady was also super nice. This is the nicest and best service I have experienced in a very long time. Thank you for your customer service.
