Blinds are good. but they make is a bit small (in width) even if I'm 100% sure about my measurements. Not sure how well they execute their lifetime warranty on mechanism. So far my blinds work fine but probably not more than a few years.. Their promotions are extremely useless for a small shopper.

Very quick good when doing the sale but when trying to phone the store to set up delivery and installation immediately goes to answering service - supposed to call back eithin 24 hrs - left 3 or 4 messages - calls never returned- had to phone a different store location to get some action - unstaller was quick doing installaton - if there is a next time will be dealing with a different company

This was my first time using Blinds To Go as I needed to replace one patio blind due to new window installations. From meeting Cassandra the experience was excellent. Good experience. The sales agent I worked with was very helpful in showing samples and examples available in the showroom, and encouraging me to check them against a window. I wished there were some more options available for one type of blind I chose out of the two types I picked, but I was also limited to white or off-white showing on the outside because of my type of building. The installation process was painless and went well. I did have to have two out of seven blinds fixed for a defect on arrival (which I didn't discover until the installation technician left, so it was another month before everything was good to go). The process was a bit on the long side, but that's been the way since the start of the pandemic, so not bad overall.

I ordered two blinds (one black out for my son’s room and nice design for my daughter’s both with the intent to make the room darker). These blinds are in addition to my existing hunter douglas blinds. The first time I went to the store to get some ideas. I was given the measurement sheet/template on how to measure and instructions. So I did the measurements on my own. I came back and spent over an hour with the customer rep to make sure my orders are correct instead of placing the order online on my own. She kept on having to redo/add instructions to the order that she missed when we reviewed it and had to reprint many times. When the installer came he drilled some holes in the wall at the wrong place and said that he didn’t realize it was to be place above the window sill. He offered to fix the holes (but we didn’t have any materials to do so). He also offered to come back to do it. Very nice fellow. I can let that one slide because I was more annoyed with another problem! The problem is that there is a huge gap between the window frame and the black out blinds in my son’s room. My son’s bed is beside the window so there is quite a bit of light that is coming through (defeats the whole purpose of blackout) I understand there will always be light coming from the side but this was like a finger length! I am not satisfied with the order because the sales person should have known better since I gave her all the measurements (including the depth as instructed) and the intent of the blinds. We decided to reverse the blinds to give more room because it was going over the window frame but I didn’t realize the frame holding the blinds also has its own depth and that reversing it made it stick out even further. She should have told me that there is no need because the top of the frame is deep enough/sticks out so there is no need to add more space (ie reverse the blinds). Instead I paid extra to get it reversed. In addition, to her not having that knowledge and understanding she tried to sell me the plastics that would boost the blinds even further out. Luckily i didn’t purchase it because it seemed to me that there would be enough room already. I couldn’t imagine how awful it would look with the blinds sticking out even more! This is the lack of knowledge of the sales person. I might have been better off ordering it online or going some where else. The installer was nice to try different ways (reversing the blinds for us) but at the end it didn’t work out. We are now stuck with this gap of light. I was also told by the installer that I should have added a bit more in my measurement because it didn’t quite fit and that it was worth paying the extra $40 for them to come measure. I was never told to include more to the measurements and the template never included that instruction. If I knew how much of a hassle this was I would have paid extra or not ordered from BTG! Another thing the sales rep should have mentioned or included when she received my measurements or gave the installer instructions that it was above the window sill and not beside it. I was so focused on my son’s room that I didn’t pay much attention to the other blind in my daughter’s room. Same issue but because her bed was further away and it was not a black out blind it wasn’t that big of an issue. However, the mechanism is not smooth (clunky and quite loud) I never had rolled up blinds before so I suppose that’s how it works but my son’s one is smoother and quieter. :( so much hassle for just two (supposedly simple) blinds. I purposely paid to get it installed so I do have to worry about it or spend that much time on it. Now I have holes in the wall (although the installer was nice to offer to fix it) and a larger than expected gap of light coming through (beside the bed)! :(

I can understand only having two employees on the floor means you can't service every single customer, having said that leaving a customer standing there for 35 minutes before you even acknowledge them when they're only coming in for a single repair order is absolutely ridiculous. When I asked if there was anybody else who might be able to help us with a quick exchange, 20 minutes into our wait, I was told "they would get to us eventually" I am perfectly fine with waiting to receive service, but at least let me know that you'll be coming to help as opposed to having me the customer come to ask you. If all of that wasn't enough, when the attendant finally was able to assist us she had the audacity to ask if she could help ring up the person behind us first who came in 10 minutes after we had first entered the store. 35 minutes of waiting to have our order set in 5 minutes..... If you are looking to be treated like nothing, feel free to shop at this store. If you would like to be treated like an actual customer, shop literally anywhere else.

We have been going to store number 044 on Dundas St. there, for quite a few years now , buying different products , like blinds and shades, for two different houses that we have owned over the years, and the experience has been always wonderful. Their product is a bit pricier than let’s say a big department store but you get what you pay for, the quality is way better, and we are after quality , we are not after quantity. The store staff always helps you with what you are looking for and they are knowledgable it seems, about the product they sell. Highly recommended for anyone who owns a house or office in the area to go and shop for Blinds and other products they sell.

While I love the blinds we received and the help we got to pick them, I find the business structure not totally ideal for all types of customers. Each time I visited, there were 1-3 staff members total in the store. If each staff member is helping someone pick or design blinds (which can take a while), other customers may be standing and waiting in the store for a long time without help. Specifically, when I went to pick up my order, I was told to sign in and wait. After waiting 10 minutes, I asked again if I could just retrieve my order and go. Someone reluctantly helped me, but I don’t think that people who are picking up orders should need to wait since the purchase has already been finalized.

They have very experienced staff that knows the ins and outs of the different products; in my case I ordered the 1% solar for my living room and blackout blinds for the bedroom. You can customize the position of the chain and how the blinds will roll up. The installer came to measure and did an excellent job installing it once the blinds were made.

We purchased blinds 22 years ago from the Mississauga store with a "Lifetime Warranty". We have had issues with the blinds twice before and they fixed them with no questions. One of the springs went in one of the roll up blinds, which is what happened the last 2 times. This time they would not fix it. They went as far as to say they are not their blinds and we should go to the store we bought them from. What good is a "Lifetime Warranty" if you don't honour it. I really do not appreciate being called a liar.

I had an in home appointment scheduled but wanted to look at some options prior to that. I told the lady at the store as much and she wouldn't help me, saying in home is different pricing and she won't give me a "consultation" because that's what the in home person will do. Three people working, no other customers, and nobody gave me the time of day just to look at some samples. She also went on about how long their lead times are anyway, seemingly trying to discourage me from getting anything here. Success!

Last year we purchased blinds for our new home from 'Blinds To Go' at Kanata location. It was a great experience right from selection till the installation. The installer (I think James is his name) came exactly at the agreed time to take the measurement of all the windows and patio doors. In fact he gave very good suggestion about the curve window in our master bedroom where there are five panels making the curve, we are very delighted with the result which enhanced the beauty of the window design. He did a great installation work and left the place clean. It's more than a year now and so far no complain. Yes, I will recommend this place and James.

I unfortunately had to change my review. I Recently bought cascade blinds and a single drop of water on them caused discolouration. We were not warned about this upon choosing this type of blinds probably because they are worth a lot and Blinds To Go just wanted to make their money. I received no help from Blinds To Go and they pretty much told me there's nothing I can do. I consider this a scam and highly recommend nobody purchase these type of blinds. Make sure to ask all the appropriate questions when visiting this store because the staff will not go into detail about the maintenance and care of your blinds.

We got our blinds made in good time, trying to get hold of their contractor was a nightmare, but it all finally happened. He showed up to install the blinds but they had incorrectly fabricated one, so we had to wait for the new blinds to get made. No big deal right? Well, I've already paid their contractor, who no longer returns my calls, and the people and blindstogo to don't answer the phone or have a message service. In the end, I'm out all the money for labour and product, 2.5 months later, I still don't have all my blinds. Buyer beware here.

While in store the consultant was kind and friendly, answered all my questions, gave me lots of options and prices. I made my deposit and was excited for my blinds to be measured ! The service was quick and efficient as someone was at my place within two days to measure. They told me 4 weeks from the measurement date my blinds would be in. A week later I get a call from blinds to go and the lady on the phone had questions about my order asking me for a second time if I wanted to upgrade the chain for my blinds to which I had said no as it was under warranty, to which she responded that I need to be ready to bring the entire blind in if they break and if I’m okay with that then I don’t need to upgrade. I felt pressured and unsure of the chain so I ended up doing it. Then she said my blind might come in wavy and not straight because it’s big, and asked if I was okay with that, which is thought was a weird thing to ask someone? What made the experience great was my installer Robbie who was so friendly and kind! Showed up on time, respectful of the space, very efficient and talked me through the whole process ! The only reason I took a star off was because of the phone call, but Robbie really made the whole experience worth it. My blinds are beautiful

We had a new bay window installed so had to have our blinds re-sized. I followed the instructions provided and our blinds came out the wrong size. BTG also lost our main blind and offered to replace it at no cost but now we have 3 different colored blinds because the side blinds are 7YRS old (still in great condition but just faded/discolored over the years). If we wanted to replace the side blinds to match the new main blind it would be at our cost and still be the wrong size.

Sales rep didn't mention that the blinds I chose can lead to having moire effect based on where the recessed lights are in my house. You would assume given the amount of blinds they sell they would have known of this issue. The end result is me having spent thousands of dollars on blinds that give me headache to look at due to the moire effect they cause. Google images of "moire effect" to get a better understanding of what I am talking about. As for the installation, in some cases the installer decided to just step on the windowsill instead of using his ladder during the install. Ended up leaving shoe marks all over the windowsill even though he wore shoes that were "indoor shoes". For the money I paid I got bad advice and mediocrity from Blinds To Go starting from incompetent sales person to the incompetent installer.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. The customer service is terrible, and the product is mediocre. My blinds fell out of the wall while I was asleep (!) and I brought them to Blinds to Go for repair (Aug 2020). The bracket was damaged, but the actual material was not affected at all. They took the blinds and a week later someone came and installed them. Before the installer left, I took a look at the blinds and there were 4 rips on my black blinds (see photo). I immediately called the store who argued with me and blamed me for the rips. I said it was impossible, since I hadn't even touched the blinds - the installer picked them up from the factory/store. In addition, the salesperson had unrolled the blinds on the counter to verify the before I gave them to her to send to the factory. After a lot of arguing, I was offered 50% off the cost of new blinds. I was not ok with this - not only had I paid for the warranty and the installation now, but I was on the hook for half the cost of new blinds plus another installation fee. Blinds To Go said they would call me back to see if they could do something better. I got a call back after a few days and they gave me the same offer. I told them this was unacceptable. They said they couldn't offer anything better before speaking to the factory again, so they called me back again the next day and told me to dismount and bring in the blinds for a second time (I live in downtown - a 45 min drive away) and they said they would "see what they could do". I wasn't happy about driving across town again, especially during COVID, but I went. Once I got there, they said they couldn't offer me anything other than what they had offered me on the phone. So why did I have to dismount my blinds and transport them across town a second time? I have a demanding full-time job and a business - I really didn't have time for this. Once I got there, the salesperson argued with me for 25 minutes. We were both calm, but it was tense and she gave no concessions. She said the only thing she could do was called the factory again. I asked her to do that while I was there, but she said she couldn't do that and that the factory is busy so they often don't call back the store for multiple days. I couldn't believe the store would have such a slow relationship with their factory. I asked to leave the blinds at the store until she could hear back, so that I didn't have to drive back and forth again. She refused. She actually told me there was nowhere to store the blinds (in the whole store...which is full of blinds) and told me to take the blinds back home and wait a few days until she called back, at which point I may have to bring the blinds back a third time. I also asked for her to email or call me every time she called the factory to ensure the factory was actually being called regularly (at this point I was beyond frustrated and wanted regular updates). She refused. She called back a few days later and said that the factory told her that they weren't the ones who ripped the blinds and they wouldn't offer a replacement. They were once again offering the original offer from 2 weeks prior (and prior to driving across the city with my blinds in my trunk). I had to give it up. I'm living in my beautiful dream condo with ripped blinds...an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I will replace my blinds at another company which will cost me double, but I just can't give any of my money to blinds to go. I actively discourage anyone I know from going here and will continue to do so. 2020-12-21 update: They finally offered me new blinds at their own cost. I drove another 40 minutes to go pick them up, and another 40 minutes back. At this point I had driven 4 times and had not been compensated for any of that. I went to install the blinds...and it turns out they were too small. I'll have to go back a fifth time.

DO NOT BUT CELLULAR OR ROLLER BLINDS FROM THIS COMPANY. We ordered 3 black out cellular blinds. When these blinds were delivered and installed, they had a number of defects and were sent back. This happened two more times. We had to negotiate with management for them to allow us to switch styles of blinds. We switched to roller blinds (and had to pay more money). All 3 valences and one of the roller blinds is defective. After 4 sets of blinds, this issue has yet to be resolved...

The experience has not been great unfortunately. We purchased 13 blinds. 3 came with a black mark on it, another was fraying along the edges, another was rolled the wrong direction and one valance was the wrong size. All the fabric was poorly attached to the valances and started to let go within days of receiving them. We took the blinds back to the store and received amazing customers service. They did not give us any issues and agreed they all needed to be corrected. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at the Hunt Club location. At this point I have had interactions with several of them and they have all been amazing. Unfortunately, when we tried to install one of the replacements we discovered it was rolled incorrectly. Now we are awaiting the stay at home order to expire so we can bring it back to the store along with our valances. It has been a frustrating few months trying to get this sorted out. In their defence, COVID has impacted their service delivery times and of course the lock down makes it impossible for us to enter the store to return something. The fact that the quality of the workmanship is poor and the ability to follow instructions at the factory is spotty has lead to a frustrating experience.

I submitted an order for one black out blind, for an average sized bedroom window. It took about a week, however I didn’t receive a call or email, so it was probably ready before that. When I brought the blind home, it was 4 inches too narrow. So much for black out. They had one job. Not happy. *** Update *** The new blind fits, however will not stay up when pushed up (cordless). I called and they insisted I had to bring it back. I asked them to send a someone for a service call and I was told it would be $65. I was told they would call back in an hour for confirmation by a supervisor. Never received a call.

When we finally ordered (it's very difficult to get through on the phone as an associate is always busy & you have to call back, several times, long distance - I suggested an answering machine but they said people forgot to leave their phone #'s!) We picked up the blinds & had them installed with our own installer as BtoGo's installation charge is ridiculous + .15c/km to Prescott! When we were installing them, we found 2 sets of incorrect brackets. Tried calling again, they said just come in an exchange them. I told them I was not making a trip to Ottawa for brackets & that they could FedEx them. He said they would go out Monday. I waited & waited, finally tried calling the store on Thurs. Their excuse was that they didn't have a physical address (which was in an email I sent & why wouldn't they call me) He advised they would go out Thurs, so I rec'd them Fri & re-called the installer to come in on Sat. The blinds are nice but I would have preferred ones with remote (the store down the road a 1/4km on Hunt Club sells them but I didn't see that until I was coming home with my blinds from BtoGo. When we went to pick out our blinds, we went on a Sunday, the website said 9am - ? We were there on the dot only to find a sign on the door 10am- The salesman more or less called me a liar, so when I got home I printed off the website info & took it to the store when I picked up my blinds

Ordering process was good, the processing of the order and delivery was BRUTAL! My order was put in under an unknown name and put on hold for 3 weeks. I had to call after 3 weeks to see where my blinds were (estimated delivery date was 2-3 weeks), that’s when I found out it was on hold and under the wrong name! When my order arrived, it was only half the order. When the second part came in, I went to pick them up, only to find 50% of my order was damaged, adding to further delays. I was then told that they would have one of the installers deliver the product to me. I gave them a date and waited all morning, no blinds delivered. I asked to speak with the regional Manager and it took over a week for a response. Wouldn’t recommend!

I would describe my experience with BlindsToGo in two ways: The first is related to the products, and the second is related to designers (generally their staff). Regarding the product: We chose 3 types of blinds including the Melody Shades. These are collection of individual shades that are installed one after another to make the whole thing. They look fantastic in store. But what was installed for us was not similar to that. Some of shades would stand crooked. And generally, there were a lot of irregularities in the shape of the shades. So, they lacked the beautiful uniformity that we saw in store (I took off 1 star for that). And this brings me to the second aspect of our experience with BTG: The store staff. Being unhappy with our newly installed Melody shades, we contacted the store. In general, all the designers and the installers were friendly and professional people. Specifically, we were lucky to talk with Andrew (he is a designer in Ottawa Hunt Club branch). And he was fantastic! Starting with the selection process, he patiently consulted us over the phone and helped us to make choices that fits our house's interior design (we ordered Roman Shades, basic shades, and Melody shades). Because of Covid lockdown we had to do all our selections over the phone, which, believe me, it was not an easy task! But with the help of Andrew and other designers, it became much easier. After telling the store about the Melody shades' issue, Andrew was in constant contact with us and the factory. He sent installers for a second time to steam the shades. Because the issue was not solved, he re-ordered the whole product for us and sent 2 installers to install and steam the shades. Now they look 100 times better than the first installation. Overall: I would recommend BTG not just because of the wide selection of product they offer, but because of 5 star customer care they have. When compared to many online stores, you would pay more. But if anything goes wrong, they stand with you, and do their best to make you a happy customer. So, I would not buy another Melody shade BUT I will go back to BTG for my next blinds shopping.

Once everything is paid, this one installer will never answer or reply your calls. (dono about the others). It is understandable that they could be busy but not that irresponsible for NOT replying at all. Sometimes for days until you contact the shop where you purchased and they get to him,.. each and every time was the same. It all reflects back to BTG, so it's up to them (BTG) to give the business to whichever contractor they want... After purchasing blinds at Blinds to GO we were disappointed to find that BTG ‘trained experts’ cut them to the wrong measurements then refuse to allow them to be returned. They hide behind the line “no returns, it’s a custom order” – wow! I fail to see how Blinds to Go live up to their statements: we strive to WOW our customers with our legendary "red carpet" service. The manager and the staff both failed to show their so called “expert knowledge and the very best in service”. DON'T SHOP AT BLINDS TO GO - especially HUNTCLUB. The customer service was dismal. Their corporate office didn't even respond to our inquiries. If the staff makes a mistake or fails to communicate all the information for the sake of a sale, then this is in no way customer service but deceitful and shoddy customer service.

They sell blinds with defective mechanisms and when I returned it for repair they just repackaged the same blind with the same defect and told me it was fixed. Their service is very poor. No one called me to tell me my order was ready. I call the store repeatedly and no one ever picks up. I had to just go in hoping it was ready, stand around for 25 minutes because there's never anyone manning the pickup area. It's a 90 minute round trip and the blinds are still broken. Terrible products and terrible service make for a terrible company, don't ever shop here.

To start with...when I came to pick up my online order salesperson couldn't track it . It took a while to figure out where my blinds are. When I got home and was ready to install it I've noticed there is some part missing on one of the blinds ( I attached some pictures) After installing them we found out we won't be able to open them completely because one of the rods is installed incorrectly. This is my fourth order from Blinds to Go but I'm afraid it will be the last one.

Service in the store was great but once they received the down payment - needed to wait 5 weeks for product to arrive and schedule install , requested for early part of the 2-8 window as we have elderly that need to go to bed , that request was ignored and scheduled for after 6:30 at 6:45 I had to follow-up with customer service to find out that Adrian was running late and was only going to show up after 7:20. Once Adrian showed up he was great and took care of the required area first , then we found out that the order was received with the wrong color pulleys on two of the 4 blinds for the bedroom , so they have to go back to the factory in Montreal to get corrected and adds another 1-2 weeks waiting for the them to come back. Following up with the store left a voicemail , their message said calls returned within 24 hours. Well that didn’t happen. I left 4 messages in 4 days. Finally on day 5 I drove to the store to find out what the status was on the replacment window coverings. Basically told they are to busy to return the messages I had left 4 days in a row. The corrected coverings had already arrived at that point but needed to wait a further two weeks to have them installed.

Great experience with Hunt Club Blinds To Go. Bought three blinds in 2013. One bracket recently broke. Called to discuss my options. Andrew, the sales person I dealt with, told me it is still under warranty and to just bring the blind back. I needed the blind fixed ASAP as it is for my office and it is too sunny without the blind up. Andrew gave me complimentary paper blinds to use until my blind was fixed. I was extremely impressed that my blind was fixed at no charge and returned in three days! I picked it up at the end of the business day and the lady working that night was kind enough to offer to stay past closing so that I could pick up the blind. All my future blinds will be purchased at this location !

Beware the so called 'lifetime' warranty. My twenty odd blinds are useless now because they have discontinued the parts so are unable to fix them. I sent customer service all the pictures but weeks later still havent heard back. Seems like they want me to buy new ones.

Ryan (our installer) did a phenomenal job, was very quick and efficient. However, one of the four blinds installed was not what I ordered. I eventually received the correct order, but post-sales service was minimal. No one called when the new blind was in. Based on the post-sales service, it's not likely that I will return to this store to make a future purchase.

This was our first blinds experience and it has been awful and nothing but problems. Our initial install date was 13 weeks ago and the purchase date another 7 weeks prior to that. We are about 5 months into the project and we still do not have one of our blinds that came damaged after waiting all this time. Communication has been terrible we were dealing with the manager at head office since noone else would return any of our calls to get status updates and have not heard back from her either with when we will be recieving our replacement blind for the damaged product. Overall very frusterating process, terrible service, bad customer service, we will never be using Blinds to Go again.

Just had two motorized blinds installed side by side on my sliding doors last week and I’m not happy with the customer support. As soon the blinds rolled down you can tell that one side does not roll completely straight down and it is angled. I asked the tech to fix it there and he told me to let Blinds to Go know and schedule another visit. It clearly looks off center and the gap in between isn’t even straight. Either the roll was bad or the mount was not straight. Checking if the mount was straight should’ve been his first check and could’ve been done on the spot so we could narrow down that is was a bad roll and he could just take it back. I don’t understand why this couldn’t have been fixed or checked on the spot when he was there but he insisted to schedule another appointment. I’ve emailed Blinds to Go to come up with some solution but they haven’t got back to me. Calling is pretty much useless because you don’t get a response. I’m very unhappy with the customer support here. For the amount i paid here and blinds to go being a well known company I would’ve expected better communications. Updated: My order number is 754602. Updated Dec 15: Dec 14th the installer came by. Blinds are even more crooked after they did their re rolling. I called, no response. Left a message, no response. Emailed, no response. Today tried calling again. Not sure how to get through to anyone here other then driving to the actual location. I only got a call back the first time because of this review. Problem still not resolved. Hopefully someone from this store sees this and responds. I’m not happy with this service. Been over 2 months now and still no blinds.

They were suppose to fix it two weeks ago and still didnt hear anything from them. My brother going to see if we can get the correct cut onces and we install it ourself. It would be easier if we would taken it from home depot and install it ourselves and it would have been more cleaner, less headache, better cut and more professional work. Looks like they are bunch of amature and know no more than about blind then you and I.

I can't remember ever having the kind of exceptional personal service I received from design consultant Kaycee Fischer to solve a problem I had with an now out-of-production small plastic part in a 20-year-old blind. I snapped the connector in the hanger hardware when I was reinstalling the blind after we'd had the house repainted. Kaycee found my 2002 purchase receipt, checked and discovered neither the store nor the Montreal factory had a replacement, and provided me with two new hangar brackets in hopes that they might work instead. They didn't quite, so she then came up with yet another set that she felt might be better. I had come to think this kind of patient, thoughtful cost-free service had disappeared ages ago. Kaycee proved to me it hasn't.

The salesperson was very helpful presenting all the options and explaining advantages and inconvénients of both. Blinds were ready quickly. The blind was built 1/8” too large to do the inside mount with the brackets. I removed the plastic caps at each end to make it work. A few slats were damaged and missing paint. They will replace these slats and return the blind in a few days.

We are going through the worst experience with this location. We purchased our motorized blinds from them last year and one of our blinds stopped working about 2 months back. We contacted them and they came and took the blind and went to get it fixed. That was great. Then 10 days later they called to come to bring our blinds back. Except they got a NON MOTORIZED VERSION :S . Okay so then they took it back. Then another 10-12 days later they come and they bring MOTORIZED VERSION but the WRONG COLOR! Then again he took it back. Now its been 2 weeks and we have been trying to call them to get our blinds back. No one has been responding or calling us back. They keep saying that their records say we got our blind back so there clearly has been a lack of communication between their employees/installers and the store. Its been really frustrating because its been around 2 months now and our house is completely transparent because this is one of our front windows! We just want our blinds back - the same color and motorized and we want someone to call us back because this is really been very frustrating.

The first time that we went into the store, we dealt with Andrew. This was right when the stores finally reopened after a pandemic shutdown. I am not certain if he calls himself a consultant, but as far as I am concerned, he is just an order taker. He was sighing the whole time. We had quite a large order and he was frustrated. I almost walked out a few times. He never suggested anything, he just kept printing paper and discarding it. Finally, once he got it right, he took our payment and not sure what happened after that. We waited patiently for four weeks to pass before checking on the status of our order. Needless to say that I was very upset to hear that our order had not been put through. Casey came to the rescue and managed to put a rush on our blinds. They came within four days and are now installed. Thank you Casey and Lorenzo (installer).

Went into the store looking to purchase 4 blinds for my home. There is no stock whatsoever in the store it's basically a showroom where you view samples and place orders. This is not very convenient for shoppers but manageable. Then I was told it would take 4 - 6 weeks for regular blinds to come in! Waiting this length of time is simply not possible. Ordered 7 blinds and had only 3 correctly made. One was completely incorrect and was told that it was because they gave it to another customer. When the blinds were received, it was incorrect to our dimensions and the customer service representative told us it was our fault when it was them who wrote it. I would like to give the Blinds to go at 403 & Dundas a well deserved 5 star rating. When my blinds arrived there was an issue with one of them where the pull up was not on the correct side as indicated in my order. They take the blinds back and had them fixed and ready for pick-up in 2 days. When I was there I told them I purchased blinds from them 15 years ago but I couldn't pull them up as the mechaminsum was broken. They looked on the computer found my original order and told me to bring the blinds in. I did exactly that and they fixed my blinds in 2 days. I am so happy, I did not know that Blinds to Go has a life time warranty of the mechenisum parts.

We ordered some custom blinds from this store in late February early March, just before the pandemic started. Unfortunately with the intricate pattern in the blinds the factory didn’t do such a great job with aligning the pattern, and we wanted to return them for alterations. Of course COVID put everything on hold for several months. As the store was about to close down indefinitely, we could tell that our customer service associate, Seda Guvener, was quite upset that she couldn’t resolve our issue right away. It was as if she were personally responsible for the factory’s poor work. Once the store reopened, it was Seda that initiated contact with us, asking if we would mind bringing the blinds in to send back to the factory. In my experience, most customer service professionals would probably wait until we called. Although the blinds went in and came back with the patterns still not aligned to our liking, Seda’s compassion and professionalism made it impossible for us to become impatient! I mean, we’re talking about blinds here, hardly urgent with COVID affecting so many lives; but you could tell that she genuinely cared about getting this right. My wife and I were actually more concerned that she not stress about the issue!!! We saw Seda today when we returned the blinds. She went out of her way to look after us immediately and really gave us the VIP treatment! We will be ordering custom blinds for our patio doors later this summer, and we will specifically ask for Seda; in fact we will insist on it! I suspect that this particular store works hard to build relationships with its customers, but I would highly recommend you ask for Seda!!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ROBBED US. We provided measurements as requested for an inside mount blind. This would be the 6th one we have ordered so we are aware of how to take measurements. The sales rep did not deduct the bracket measurements from the total measurement we provided. We returned the blind within an hour and they refused to refund us or redo the blind. We were stuck paying the $100 because we walked out of the store with it. It's been a week and a half where they have the blind and our money. We have been chasing them for a return or a blind with the right measurements and they finally told us they would redo the blind for $25 change fee. A change fee for an error their employee made. They are now saying the measurements we gave were wrong...which weren't. Pretty straightforward 52.5 across. I will never order from here again and have found multiple people in my community with the same problem. This is fraud.

Terrible service! I ordered 2 blinds on 24/6/18. Got a voicemail to say one was ready. I eventually chased up for info on the second one and their automated system told me it was ready. We want Blinds to Go to install and this is how last week went - Monday spent most of the day calling them as their system just drops the call if no-one answers. Eventually got through and was told the installer would call me Tuesday. Tuesday noone called me. Wednesday, I started again and was told the installer would call me. Late Thursday. the installer called and told me he was going on vacation and couldn't do it till July 22. He asked if I needed it sooner. I said yes, hoping he would fit me in. No such luck. He said a different installer would call me. Friday. Did someone call me? Of course not. Honestly I've had a better response booking flights with AirMiles and that's saying something.

We ordered our blinds back on September 14th. As of November 7th, we are still waiting for them to complete our order. One set of blinds came in damaged and we are still waiting for them to replace them. The motor was shot on a different set, but thankfully it only took them three weeks to resolve that issue. These blinds weren’t cheap, either. How to resolve the issue? Please complete our order. We’ve called your 800 number several times and have talked directly with our salesperson. You guys sent out your installer without the part the other day. It really is a bit silly at this point. No contact for weeks and then out of the blue he shows up without the part he needs. All of the blinds that were installed need to be adjusted too. They all go down a bit too far and rest on the window sills. We’d really like someone to take this seriously. If you guys can’t complete the installation properly, the next step should be to remove the blinds and have our money refunded.

I hate to be posting negative comments, but I purchased a blind online from the merivale location and when we got our blind and installed it the cords to roll the blind up didn’t work properly, and the cord to move the shutters also didn’t work properly. We called, and they told us to bring it in and they would send it out to be repaired. 2 1/2 weeks later it was finally ready for pick up and when we brought it back the cord to move the blind up or down was fixed but the shutter one was the same. A couple weeks later we couldn’t get the cord to latch so we couldn’t open the blind. We brought it back in and they said they would send it out to be repaired, but when they tested it at the store the latch worked which is great but we still can’t get it to latch at home. Could potentially be user error but for people have tried and none of us can do it. A little disappointed considering it wasn’t a cheap blind to buy, and we really needed it to keep the light out of our babies bedroom and when we had to bring it in to be fixed we had to find some other alternative which cost us more money.

Third time I've brought from the huntclub location, the blinds fit perfectly, came in fast, and the staff are wonderful, I had one issue with a cordless blind not working after a few months on my first order, they took it back and had it fixed within a week, its working like it is brand new all over again. I definitely recommend shopping with Blinds To Go. The lifetime warranty was free and very useful to be able to take advantage of.

Great service in store, had an issue with the shades being dirty; they were quickly re-ordered. However during installation the window frames were slightly damaged.

Quality of blinds was great. Customer service was terrible, blinds were delivered weeks after initial quote, and store over-charged us because THEY made an error converting from cm to inches. I do not recommend shopping here.
