I contacted M Studio Design a few months ago to look into a few home projects, namely a backsplash in my bathroom and a faux-brick wall in my bedroom. I dealt with Samantha primarily who, during our exploratory visit, asked me preference questions, made small suggestions here and there that didn't stray too far away from my vision, and took her time listening to my list of wants. Nothing seemed outside of her comfort zone. When COVID hit, I unfortunately put everything on the backburner. Fast forward a few months later, I was in a situation where I was going to move soon. I still wanted to put in a backsplash for the person renting my unit (to make things look a little more polished but also to protect my walls from water damage). I tried my luck and asked for a last-minute appointment. I can't express how lucky I was -- but bear in mind my project was very small, I wasn't renovating a whole room -- but within 2 weeks, Samantha managed to find labour that could deliver exactly what I wanted. All I had to do what choose and buy my tiles. The contractor took care of the rest. Samantha even guided me through a couple of tile choices (we ended up choosing one huge slab... cleaner look but ALSO less labour). She thought of everything; she remained conscious of price vs quality the whole time. Price was absolutely reasonable. When you're in a pinch and you need to get something done quickly, a fair price is the icing on the cake. The result is a tasteful bathroom for my tenant and an aesthetic that also doubles at improving the longevity of my bathroom. I'm excited to work with them on future projects. When you're thinking of re-decorating and/or renovating a space in which you want to improve, sometimes you have no idea where to start, what you'll need, who to call, and everything that comes with that ! These ladies were really there for me throughout the whole process which took such an immense stress off my shoulder. They were attentive to what I wanted, they made sure I had multiple options and was aware of everything going on. What I loved most about them was there human touch to the whole process.
