The staff was great switch my purchase. The selection is large and the prices are reasonable.
The sales people were accommodating. There’s a wide array of furniture choices. A lot of designs in store to showcase specially beds, dining and sofas. Dining looks a bit flimsy though and prices were on higher end. I am not a 100% when it comes to quality but yeah, they charge quite a bit compared to it’s competitor in town. Even during boxing sale and prices were supposed to be less, I noticed that the price are still higher compared to other stores. The $800 for example only include headboard, footboard and side thingy of the bed, rails are missing that’s why it’s on sale. And the 1,300 one got some damage on the leather. You can find a less than 1,000 for brand new king bed with no damage and i think is even better design and quality (during boxing day at least ????) Overall, good place to check specially if you have a specific furniture design in mind and is willing to splurge a bit to get your ideal design.

I had a wonderful visit at this Leon's location. The sales associates were kind, helpful, patient, caring and were able to offer me the furnishings I needed to make my house a home! They truly went the extra mile to help me feel like I'm a part of the Leon's family and fulfill my furnishing dreams! I would like to send a very, very special shout out to Jen and Matt, you're both truly amazing! I couldn't have asked to work with two more outstanding people to have the privilege of helping us get the furnishings we needed.
I bought couple pieces of furniture a month ago, the salesman says that they didn't have 2nd piece in the store, they will have it in the next couple weeks. Now it s already over a month. I couldn't get it yet, I called the store, they said they will call me back.... they didn't, I called again, they said they will call me back.... I am still waiting...!!!!?? It s beautiful store but unprofessional stuff. Wish me luck to get my furniture that I already paid for it a month ago!!!

Great choice, more than just beds and sofas (who knew they do fridges and tvs and ovens too?)....and they have a clearance area with even cheaper than already good value items.

Nice place if you are looking for TV or things
This is the chair I bought from Leon's in Charlottetown on May 8, 2021. They were to deliver the chair to my place on the 18th. The chair did not arrive. It finally arrived on the 25th. The chair arrived damaged. The mechanism was damaged and it moved from side to side. I thought I would fall out of it. I called the store immediately and talked to the service manager, Jen Robertson. . She asked can I proved that the store damaged it. She blamed me for damaging. I said I wanted it replaced and she said I only bought a service warranty. Th service people came on Sunday more than an hour late. They improved the chair. The above videos are after repair. I said it is not repaired and they told me to call the service manage the next day. I called her on Monday and her first words were her workers told her the chair is fixed. She would not believe me that it wasn't, even with pictures. On Friday 4Jun21 I called store wanting to return it and they said they don't take returns. I then talked to the Assistant manager and sent the above videos to her. 2 days later I was told they would pick up the chair on Tuesday 8Jun21 and return my money, 1 month after this ordeal began. I will never buy anything from Leon's again.
Got a sofa from them last summer and love it , my father got a bed online and was very happy as well . if you want a good salesperson ask for Jennifer ????
Purchased 2 months ago. Said it would be 6-7 weeks. Called a couple weeks ago, was told I would get a call back. Nothing. Called back a few days ago, said I would get a call back. Nothing. Called again yesterday twice, both times said I would get a call back. Nothing. Just got off the phone with them again, said I will get a call back. We shall see.... Ended up getting it a week or so later. Just didn't like having to make several follow ups.
Customer service was very satisfactory, & friendly, good quality merchandise & a wide selection to choose from, all & all was pleased with shopping experience I had there.
Over priced
Needed to get a particular piece of furniture in a hurry. Found what I was looking for in a matter of minutes. The price was good and the service was top notch.
Terrible Customer Service. We were in the store about 25 minutes and not one salesperson approached us. I was there to buy a bedroom set and / or a dishwasher. After spending a good ten minutes trying out several mattresses I then went to the appliance section. Passed by a few employees. Passed by a couple more sitting there chatting amongst themselves. Passed by a couple of more right by the exit. My entire home has come from Leons (both the Simcoe, Ontario and Brantford, On stores have great customer service) but I will not return to this location here on PEI.
My wife and I wandered the store for about 20 minutes checking out livingroom furniture before we were Greeted by Gordon. He was a delight, and helped us purchase a couch, loveseat, and chair. Great experience!!

Started out decent enough. Salesman was knowledgeable. We narrowed our choices to two different sectionals, and chose the one we were assured would be here in 10-14 days (opposed to the one that would take 4 weeks). "free delivery" is only within charlottetown city limits - stratford or cornwall or beyond there is an additional $50 fee. That was irritating but oh well. After three weeks I contact Leons, to be told that my furniture was delayed. Salesman I was dealing with says he'll call back. He calls back later to inform me that it will be at least another 5 weeks before my sectional is ready, and tried to sell me on a different one that could be here in two weeks. Extremely disappointed. I understand manufacturing delays happen, but the onus is on Leon's to inform us of delays in our order, and they did no such thing, nor would they have for over a month. Meanwhile my family has no living room, for what will be well over a month now. Thanks Leon's ♥

We always used to go to Leons for all our furniture and appliances and received great service and attention. However, other than one particular employee.. this is no longer the case..The service is terrible. Counted 15 sales people yesterday and most were busy which is good, but those that were idle didn't want to assist. Had to outright ask for help for a direct sale with no effort required on their part and still were told to essentially find someone else. Went to the desk to ask for help and they didn't want to sell it either.. I don't understand why the consumer has to work to convince the seller to sell something.. This seems to be a common trend now.. sad
As soon as we walked in the door there were no hellos but enough stares to go around. Also there were two staff members casually sitting on a couch playing games on their cellphones. Not impressed with the service at all

I find some of Leon's furniture is Wal-Mart quality but at Leon's much higher prices.
What's even happening in there with your staff? We went in there one day with the intention of purchasing a sectional. The rep who was trying to help us was good, but a little too over the top with the sales tactics. At one point he asked one of his co-workers who was sitting at a little table on the main level if they had a specific couch in stock. The man gave him a sarcastic answer about looking in the system. It was that man and not our sales rep who made us purchase elsewhere. They lost $2000 because of that older a-hole at the desk/table out on the floor. Get your attitudes together if you want to thrive!

Customer service was poor employees attitude was poor . Mimic and laughed about my mother who was told her stove would be in with in six weeks was told twice by to different employees then went in and asked the status of the stove and was told she had to wait another 8 weeks . She requested the floor model after a little conversation between two employees she finly got it . But the employee didn't know she was behind him as he's laughed and joked with his college about how up set she was . Wouldnt recommended .

A new bright and spacious layout all on the same floor. A great improvement from the previous location. Lots to choose from at various price levels.

Customer service was just okay. Didnt have much in stock (looking at power recliners) so items had to be ordered in and a lot of items are back-ordered. Cost was comparative to other furniture stores.
*DON'T SHOP AT LEON'S* *EDIT/in response to Leon's response*: I was told i would get my money back after being argued with, spoken over, and not listened to for 20 minutes about what I did wrong. I asked my sales associate weeks ago about a possible discount and she didn't seem too interested in that idea. She told the gm that I was looking for a discount but because I didnt bring it up on my call with him he didnt feel the need to offer that discount. Today when I spoke to him he asked what kind of discount i expected, when i said maybe 100$ off a near 700$ order he scoffed and said "i wouldnt have given that to you anyway". He also said that maybe its just my age group/demographic that has such expectations. After todays experience I know for a fact I won't be returning. *end of edit* As someone who has worked in customer/guest service most of my life I have learned what it takes to have repeat customers. If something goes wrong whether or not it is in my control, I take responsibility to do what I need to do to make it right so my customer doesn't feel left in the dust. My recent experience with Leon's taught me that they couldn't care less whether or not I return. My grandparents were gracious to purchase a table for my new apartment as a gift and let me make a choice of the style etc. so I found one on Leon's website and called to order it. I was told 4-6 weeks due to covid but there were 3 already ordered, and 1 was available so I put my name on it. I was never called for updates, only after I called to inquire was I ever updated throughout this whole experience. eventually the table arrived, I was excited after a long wait only to be told I only would be getting 2 chairs as they didnt recieve any others, but I was told I would have an update on the chairs the next day and that they could deliver the following week if I decided. I never received a call so I followed up a few days later and they said they were still looking into it so they didnt call me. I would have appreciated an update here as to what was going on. I was frustrated, I would love to invite my grandparents over to have dinner on the table they bought me but with 2 chairs it hasn't been possible. when I was called back and told that they were still looking into it I expressed my frustration and said "can I have my money back, id rather give my business elsewhere" to which they responded "we cant take the table back since its been in your house, why did you ask to have it delivered if you were going to return it." if I wasnt given the expectation of an update the next day I would have declined the delivery. so a Leon's employee was at my place of work yesterday and said he would take care of me and get back to me with an answer. I went above and beyond to give him an incredible experience being able to reactivate 4x50$ of in store credit which had expired. today got back to me and told me "still no answer yet, maybe wait another couple weeks" finally later today I received a call that the additional chairs have arrived. its been 10 weeks. I understand due to covid things are delayed, but in my experience with customer service, you dont blame issues on the manufacturer, if a customer is wronged its your job to make it right. Leon's has done nothing to make it right for me and so I refuse to shop there again, and I highly recommend if anyone is furniture shopping stay away from Leon's. I will be purchasing a house in the future and Leon's could have had me as a repeat customer but after this I wont be back there. I hope anyone reading this with plans to shop at Leon's will rethink that decision.

We purchased a fridge in June and it was damaged. We have been unable to receive a call back or any further communication on a door that was supposedly ordered for the fridge. Messages left, emails sent and zero communication. Hard to believe from an island owned business. Not what we expected when trying to support local.
Nice furniture store I did expect some higher end furniture. Not one fridge had double door on one side for drinks where you don't have to open full fridge door. Neither could I find a stove with double ovens. A lot of sofas same colour...a few thing I noticed.
