Vinland built our house in 2018. It is a custom-build house based on Ellesmere model. The house was finished on budget with a couple of months of delays. Jennifer (the client relations manager) was very positive and welcoming. I enjoyed the interactions we have with Jenny during the building process. Graham and Kalina are accommodating and they did their best to make this project our dream house. They were also very responsive during the 1-year post sale process in terms of client services. The build quality is according to the standard and we didn’t have any major issues in the past 2 years. Positive: Nice and professional people to work with,Value and quality Negative: limited custom options to choose from and short notice to decide on custom items. The project manager was not reliable. Recommendations: confirm all the details and upgrades before signing the contract to avoid misinterpretation.

I think what I appreciated most about Vinland homes was how they went above and beyond our expectations. This was our first home and they guided us through the entire process. They even offer a service to go with you to help choose flooring and such. So helpful! I love that it's a family ran business. You deal directly with the owners for a lot of the process. Who else would serve you better than the owners themselves?? Very pleased. We love our home!

Vinland built our new home in Saskatoon. The experience was wonderful, from picking the lot to build modifications, finish and all. Kalina (Project Manager) was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. The possession date was on schedule even with the pandemic. Vinland made sure we got the home we wanted. Overall it was a pleasant experience especially as 1st time home owners building from scratch. I highly recommend Vinland Homes.

They have been wonderful to deal with right from the start and have been by to check on things periodically since I took possession. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a builder in the Saskatoon area. I looked at many different houses and builders before I purchased my house and Graham and his team stood out from the rest.

SELECTION PROCESS: Kalina walked me through the whole selection process. This included picking the lot, the home design, and interior/exterior details. They also give you a rundown of what to expect during the build and after possession. As a first-time home buyer, Kalina did an excellent job at guiding me through the process and provided me with the appropriate resources. BUILDING PROCESS: I was kept updated throughout the build. They even sometimes sent me photos when the house reached certain milestones. They also do on-site visits when finalizing certain aspects of the home (an example would be electrical outlet placements). I had made some last-minute changes, but they were happy to accomodate me. The garage and conrete walkways were done after possession of the home, as these needed to be built when there was no more frost on the ground. POSSESSION: Possession day was a few days earlier than what was expected. During possession day they give you a quick rundown of the maintenance needed for the home. They include a care package with more detailed instructions, and a month-to-month checklist to go with it. The care package also includes all your selections and their product numbers (such as paint colour, flooring, backsplash, countertops, etc). There is a re-visit with the builder 1 year after possession date as a follow-up. OVERALL: I have lived in this home for about 8 months, and I dont have any concerns. I am very happy with their work and customer service. If I ever decide to have another house built in the future, I will consider Vinland Homes again.

From the first time we met the Vinland staff at a show home, we felt comfortable and confident. They came across as good people rather than slick salesmen. We did a custom build with Vinland and the process was smooth sailing from start to finish, beginning with Graham's promise to deliver on time, which they did! These folks are professional, courteous and easy to deal with. They were always prompt in their response to our inquiries and things were explained in as much detail as we needed in order to understand. One is always nervous when "signing off" at the end, wondering if you'll ever see the builder again if something comes up. In the weeks and months that followed possession, Vinland always made time for us when it came to addressing any issues, (next to none). We're really happy with the process and the finished product.We would recommend Vinland (and have) to people looking for a well-built home by a builder who is all about quality and service.

Building our house with Vinland , it was the best choice we made. It was a great experience working with all of the team members. They are very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. My husband works in construction and he was impressed about everything!!! Our house Vinland design is perfect, one day someone from City of Saskatoon stopped and asked me to allow them to take pictures of the house because “ you’re house is so pretty:)” . The natural light and the amount of windows are a blessing! Dealing with Graham Klassen was an amazing experience!!! After 3 years living in the house, everything looks immaculate because of the quality products they use. One more thing that we really like ( we like everything:)is that the windows are dry during the winter time. I heard lots of people complaining about this problem, but for us it wasn’t an issue. If you are looking for a great team to work with we highly recommend Vinland Homes!!!
