We hired Krawchuk Construction to do a 400 sqft addition to our house last year, including digging/pouring full basement underneath it. The new space consisted of a dining room, a new master bedroom, and an en-suite bathroom. It took awhile for things to get started, but that was more Sask Energy's fault for taking forever to be available to deal with moving gas lines. Once things got started and the city issued the permit, things moved quite quickly. Krawchuk was great about letting us help out to keep the price lower, they allowed us to frame and insulate the basement area, as well as wire it. We also did a lot of our own painting and a few other things like that. The way that the areas are tied together, it's honestly hard to tell that the house was ever smaller than it currently is. We're incredibly happy with our new spaces. We found that the tradesmen who came into our house were generally very respectful and did a good job. We haven't had issues with much, and the few things we did were addressed promptly. An example of this was one of the big stipulations I had for this project was that we have a giant spruce tree in the back yard which is not too distant from where the basement would be dug, and I wanted everything possible to be done to protect that tree. When they went to backfill in around the new foundation, due to the non-ideal placement of said tree, the tops of its roots got very scraped up with most of the bark removed. I mentioned this and the next business day they'd brought in a tree expert to check it out. He gave me some advice for how to give it the best chance (some fertilizer and stuff) though he said the damage was cosmetic, and he expected it would be fine. So far it seems fine, as predicted. Generally, i'm quite happy with how everything has turned out, and Krawchuk never gave me any reason to doubt things would actually get finished, and finished well. I've heard horror stories about contract jobs that go on and on forever and seem to move at a snail's pace.. that was not the case here. While work was getting done, it was getting done basically daily, unless there were weather issues or something else like that. All in all i would definitely recommend Krawchuk Construction, they were prompt in responding to small things that came up, as well as the bigger things. They were professional, and the trades they work with seem very respectable and professional as well. They were great about communicating why things were taking awhile, or when snags were hit that needed our input.

NO STAR AT ALL!!!!!???????????????????????? Poor Customer service!!! ???????????????? I phone just to aASK if their doing FREE ESTIMATE to built a basement bathroom, which can be answer with only Yes or No, he answer me with alooooooot of questions!!! One question that pissed me off was "if you're doing your basement yourself why cant you do the bathroom???" kinda rude and soooo unprofessional! Wow!!!???? Sir, you might know alot about building a castle but please try to learn manners and professionalism oh and phone ethics esp you are in business!

Jordan & Amanda we're great to work with. I had many quotes done for my bathroom and kitchen renovation and I can easily say Jordan was by far the most knowledgeable and thorough with communicating every step of the process and educating me on what to expect. There definitely wasn't any blind spots when it came to what was quoted and what was delivered. Although there was a slight delay with the project due to unforeseen circumstances and complications with the original build of my condo, Jordan delivered an awesome final product and found solutions to whatever surprises came up along the way. Not only that but he went above and beyond to ensure I was looked after when it came to finding small issues and offering options on fixes for them, once the initial demolition was done. Needless to say if you want the job done right go with Krawchuk.

Jordan and Amanda worked hard and got our project done in the 12 week estimated time frame. The trades and companies that Krawchuk contracts with are so great. They provide quality workmanship and service.
