Very charming small cafe right across from the ocean in Bonavista. Delicious baked goods - our kids enjoyed a couple of scones including a fresh out of the oven blueberry lemon one. My wife and I shared a piece of delicious carrot cake, complete with cream cheese icing. Other diners enjoyed sandwiches and soups that looked divine. My caffe Americano was perfect and the freshly brewed dripped coffee was enjoyed by my wife. Cute T-shirts too. Hope to go back before we leave the area.

The website was difficult to understand and order from so I had to email. The workers were friendly and they accommodated my time, as I was travelling from Mt. Pearl to Bonavista to experience their bicycle picnic. Arriving at the cafe, my picnic was prepared but I still had to wait about 15 mins as the cafe was busy. I then picked out my helmet and had a worker help me pick out a bicycle. There were a variety of bicycles but some needed adjustments and some didn't have the equipment to carry the picnic basket. I finally settled on a bike that was a little too tall for me and had a basket in the front that kept hitting off the front wheel. No biggie, I soon adjusted it. I cycled to the nearby Dungeon Park to enjoy my picnic. The views and the ride were fantastic! Absolutely wonderful. I found a cozy spot on the cliff near some horses to enjoy my picnic. My panini was a little cold at this point and I didn't like it anyway. I didn't like any of my food and neither did the other two people I had cycled with, but I really enjoyed the fresh raspberry lemonade. Afterward, I continued to cycle around Bonavista, taking in the breathtaking views of nature and old buildings and a beach. Eventually, I returned the bicycle. The cafe had no washroom so they directed me to a washroom in a nearby building. Despite not liking the food and the inconvenience of some things, the raspberry lemonade and the offer of this unique experience made it all worth it! I reccomend it.

This is the small, local Cafe that everyone wishes they had in their local neighborhood. It is quaint, and run by the nicest folks anyone could ask to help them. When we came the owner, Miranda was working with her young daughter Elizabeth helping. It was an easy Sunday morning, rain rolling in and customers doing the same - rolling in the front door. We enjoyed yogurt parfait with homemade granola, locally made (and grown!) berry jam, and mint leaves picked right from the back garden. The breads and pastries are top notch. Coffee is great, again it's local from Trinity, and keeps everything symbiotic to Newfoundland. Although we didn't rent any, this is what seems like the only spot in town to rent a bicycle and helmet for the day. All in all, this place is top notch and shouldn't be missed.

Had an excellent time riding around Bonavista, checking out Biennale exhibits, and having a delicious picnic. Finished with some wine and a perfect coffee at the tables across from the cafe while enjoying the great view. This is a great way to experience the town.

Excellent service, great selection of local beers, wine, and if you are hungry there is good as well. You can rent bikes here to get around Bonavista, ha e your picnic prepared her to take on your bike as well. You can just have drinks outside waterside and a great place to watch the sunset.

Wonderful experience. The bikes are great, they provide helmets too. Biking in such a lovely rural area was great after biking in Toronto. The picnic was delicious too, lots of choice available. Fresh and homemade. A huge effort is made to make sure your experience is positive. This is a new business and I wish them all the best of luck.

We had booked a bicycle rental and picnic. Let me just say that it was the highlight of our trip. It was easy to bike to Spillars Cove where we had our picnic on the cliff watching puffins and an iceberg. The bikes are in excellent shape and the food was DELICIOUS. Their scones are to die for. Such a great experience!

Had a delicious scone and my partner had a bagel. We waited almost 15 minutes for the bagel which was a bit lengthy of a wait. The only dairy alternative they had was almond milk but that's to be expected this far from town. Staff were courteous.

What a delight! The Best Coffee in the area, combined with exquisite baked goods. Or maybe you want a panini for lunch. So many choices. All home cooked on site and delicious. Today I had a traditional breakfast. They have free WiFi. You can enjoy a brilliant Americano (as I did) and check all your social media while relaxing inside, or outside in their picnic area. They also have comfy lounge chairs outside so you can stare at the sea. OR, You could rent a bike and take one of their picnic baskets and enjoy the day anywhere in the Bonavista area. Bonavista Bicycle Picnics Cafe If you haven't been, you should go. I will definitely be back.

Food was tasty but pricey for what you get. No sides for the sandwich besides a couple pickles.
