Very disappointed. My elderly parents bought a leather love seat and couch. The loveseat showed up and it's not the colour they wanted. The store lost the order for the couch. Many weeks went by, then they finally found it. By that time, my parents said don't bother. Now the store will not take back the loveseat. You only get 7 days to return, pay a 25% restocking fee!!! AND only get store credit. My parents are on a fixed income, splurged and bought $3500 of new furniture for themselves. Now they are out $1500 plus tax, plus delivery for a loveseat they don't want.

New furniture store happens to open as I'm in the market for a new sofa so I thought I would check it out. To my surprise the place was pretty big with a good selection of different styles where you can choose custom fabrics. The store manager (I think his name was Liam) actually ended up helping me out as he brought me around the showroom. One nice thing I was surprised about out of all the stores I went too this was the only place that showed me construction of the couch and showed the value what for what I'm paying for. Definitely a nice touch. Would recommend to anyone in the market as the selection and customer service is great!

I made an initial inquiry online and received a response very quickly. Brett was extremely helpful and responded thoroughly to all of my questions. I did some shopping around in town and found that Bennet's was the only store offering to take our old furniture away (for a reasonable fee). I also found that prices were comparable to other local stores, and most of the products are Canadian made, which is important to us. We met Brett in the store and he was knowledgeable, helpful, and patient! We never felt pressured or rushed. The store itself is lovely and spacious with just the right amount of inventory on display. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the doors. They extended their policy to accommodate travel time back to my home with 48hour extention to see if furniture would fit. They have amazing variety of furniture including Stressless Furniture; to compare with other Brand leather couches and chairs to help make your decision. They made great efforts to answer your questions and made calls to be sure information is factual and correct from manufacturers, even in USA (although they were very knowledgeable on all products). Just moved to Quinte from the GTA and we are committed to buying local so we went to Bennett's for a much needed new couch, we picked out a $3000 sectional and put an $800 deposit down and was told it would be 6-8 weeks, only to get home to an email stating the fabric for the throw pillows was out of stock and the couch will now take 8-12 weeks! I would have never bought from Bennett's had I have known this couch was going to take 3 months! I feel like I was misled at the beginning of this purchase to believe the couch would be 6-8 weeks when it was really going to be 3 months, all because of throw pillow fabric! The sectional was purchased Sept 4 and it is October 9 and it will be couple more months until this Canadian made couch is ready. This will be a reminder that buying local is not all it's cracked up to be. We are having a custom solid wood mantle made from Chisholm's lumber (local in Quinte)and it will take a month, a month(!) for a custom piece that we picked out of a wood pile yet this couch will take 3 months from a Canadian factory. Ugh what a mistake this was! This couch better be the best couch ever produced is all I can say, if and when I ever see it.

Searching for a new sofa during the Covid-19 pandemic has been very difficult and down right exhausting. We ordered a couch , not once but twice from two different suppliers and both failed on their “promised” delivery date. Yes, promised ~ not estimated. Then we met Gareth ! I called Bennett’s making a phone inquiry about a specific style of couch we wanted and also indicated we needed something quickly. Gareth was amazingly helpful. He listened to my requests and offered to email me photos of floor models he had in stock. None of the three worked (not large enough) so I sent him a screen shot of one I saw on their website. He checked for availability and confirmed if we purchased today they would have it to the Kingston location by Wednesday but he insisted we come and sit on it as recent feedback suggested it was stiff and photos can distort colour. Upon arrival to the store we were greeted right away and Gareth escorted us to the couch of choice. The colour was perfect and the firmness was not an issue for us. We cannot express how happy we are to get our new couch delivered on Thursday! (4 day turn around time from purchase to delivery) Thank you Gareth for your attention to detail and excellent customer service. My husband and I really liked a floor model chair, however, it had a black mark on the side, dirt Mark's on the chair itself, along with a button coming off. I asked what the best price was, and they gave an additional $10 off because it was canadian made. Meanwhile a button was coming off?? Wont be back.

I visited Bennett’s Furniture and Mattress Store for the first time a little over a month ago and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. A wonderful young sales associate, Jason M., greeted my husband and me and was very helpful, funny, and patient! He gave us the time and space to just browse but was readily available to answer any question we had. I visited the store again, recently, and once again Jason was there and was so very helpful. He listened carefully as I explained what I was looking for and although the piece of furniture that I ended up purchasing was not in the showroom, I was very confident ordering it based on Jason’s excellent assistance. It turned out Jason was not in the store the day my husband and I actually ordered on furniture but the transaction was seamless with another sales associate. We ordered a new upright freezer and, it was delivered today. Unfortunately, the compressor failed upon plugging it in. The delivery guys immediately called the warehouse and were told they had one more available. They drove back immediately and collected the replacement, then returned within the hour to make it right. Now that is service. Thanks, Bennett's!

We went to approx 15 stores looking for a dining set and were very fortunate to find Bennetts in Kingston. As soon as we walked in we were pleasantly greeted and left to roam this huge beautiful store. The selection of every price point of all furniture categories gave us plenty of choices to consider. We found a few that we were interested in and our sales consultant Deborah answered every question we had and also suggested options that were not on the floor. She was very knowledgable and she made us feel totally at ease without feeling pressured. She was also very helpful in helping us with our choice considering the layout and design of our dining room. We will definitely be back to Bennetts Kingston and would highly recommend Deborah. We don't often write reviews but Deborah and Bennetts Kingston definitely deserve a great review and we are super pleased with our purchase and experience.

First of all I want to say that all 3 stores are amazing! The one in Cambellford is huge, you would not know from the outside. Coming from the outskirts of Toronto their selection of furniture is worth going to visit. We purchased 3 furniture pieces & the employees & receptionists are the best!! One in particular was Brittany from the Campbellford store who went above & beyond. We just bought our 4th item our kitchen set & she fought hard for the best price & thanks to the owners Eric & Marlaine they made it happen & they got our business once again. The movers are so professional & everything was delivered perfectly. I honestly can not say anything negative about Bennett's Furniture store.????
