Absolutely every experience with Metric has been fabulous. I think a few things that I really take away from Metric that might be things that cause others to hesitate are the value of design services and the price range of products. I think that sometimes, an interior designer/interior design consultation can be very intimidating and can seem like something that you would only do if you were doing a big budget renovation. I think Metric is the absolute perfect place to go to totally change those minds. We've gone to Metric for help with oh-my-god-the-bathroom-is-leaking-into-the-mudroom renovations that need to be done ASAP, within a budget, and the benefit has been a real professional who can take what our dream would be if this were a planned reno and turn it into a realistic guide we can then take and make work within our budget. Ultimately, getting that advice can help create something amazing, with fewer mistakes or disappointments (which can be costly) and instead of costing more, can help you make what you want work within your budget. And Metric has a really, really amazing selection at all price points. Truly. I found a vanity light (and I've never liked a vanity light anywhere) that was truly stunning and unique, that was completely in line with big box store pricing. They showed us tons of tile options and not one gave either of us a heart attack! And even when we asked about a pricier option, they were unfailingly honest about the costs I wasn't aware of or challenges with the product. (Looking at you, cement tile!) Plus, they just have a lot of really unique stuff. The service is fabulous, they'll really take the time to help you muddle through whatever you're looking for (whether or not you know what that is) and it never feels exclusive or intimidating, but when you're looking for that truly unique product or piece, they have a ton of options. Would recommend without caveat!
