Catherine did a complete interior make-over of our Living Room in summer of 2017. She did a great job and within budget. Although the cost of furniture were more than we anticipated, we believe they are worth it. “You do get what you pay for”. The wall colours and furniture were not what we would have chosen, but, we love them and that is why you hire a decorator. We especially love the tile on the fireplace and the new custom cherry cabinet. We would certainly recommend Catherine to our friends. Thanks for your help.

Natalie Cox is a talented decorator whose ideas and know-how brought our basement renovation to the next level. She listened carefully to our ideas for finishing our basement and came up with a design that is both beautiful and multi-functional. With four kids who all want to use the basement for different activities and the possibility of selling our home in 5 years, this was not an easy task. Thank you, Natalie for your guidance and for being so responsive to my questions. Much appreciated!

As neighbours in Stittsville, we were hoping to invest locally. But after being unfortunate enough to experience first hand the rude and unprofessional manners of the front desk staff who manage client relationships, I would not recommend.

I am delighted with my kitchen makeover! Catherine seemed to read my mind and my kitchen is spectacular. The quality of the cabinets is superior. I could not be happier. Her team that worked on my project were professional , quick and took pride in their work. Every job was cleaned up when it was finished. I was impressed with all those that I met. I believe you get what you pay for and while not cheap, well worth it. They dealt with the challenging issues of dealing with the property management/ condo board and I did not have to stress myself. I would recommend Catherine Pulchine and CPI Interiors

Our Stittsville home was built thirty years ago in the style of that era and those before it. Since it was not configured to our specifications, bit by bit over the past 27 years, we have had to update it to suit our evolving needs. From the start though, the kitchen was always too cramped for our growing family and our style of living. Removing the supporting wall between the kitchen and dining room - and all of its hidden plumbing - was a 25 year wish for us. We had planned to interview three companies with depth of experience in kitchen redesign and contracting before making our decision. Catherine from CPI was the first to come and listen to us and as she was able to read our needs immediately, we did not feel the need to meet with anyone else. Moreover, being somewhat a smaller firm, hers didn’t come with the additional overhead and hefty marketing costs that her larger competitors have to build into their fees. Firstly, we wanted to know if it was doable to bring the wall down and to expand the kitchen into the dining room. Once that was figured out, we could then proceed with a highly functional design of the significantly increased space. Our other stipulation was that the work had to be completed within a specific 6 week time while we were away from the construction mess. Catherine made wonderful suggestions not only with respect to the fixtures, colours, and appliances but also to added pieces (e.g. the replacement of a dated oak railing) that would make our kitchen function the way we needed it to. She promised and delivered! Her contractor, Sam was brought in and the work began. Yes, the wall came down! Several major issues came up as the work proceeded that would have severely compromised the completion date for most contractors. Imagine returning over 1200 sq. ft. of hardwood that had already spent a week acclimatizing to the home’s humidity level because the stain was inconsistent. CPI handled this professionally without any added cost to us and still kept the project on track. We wanted the look of our kitchen to be clean and crisp and this is exactly what was achieved. We came home to a perfectly designed kitchen, beautiful hardwood throughout the main floor (replacing ceramic tile, carpet, and laminate), clean modern trim and the look that we had envisioned. The surprises came as we opened the cupboards. Truly each one is made with precision and each hardwood drawer is made to measure. The cutlery drawers, the spice drawers, the compost cupboard, the pull-outs, the electronics docking station, just to name a few, are works of perfection. And then there is the infamous Tupperware drawer! It’s a must-see! However, it’s the double island that really makes a difference for us. We entertain regularly and there is always a steady flow of traffic in our kitchen, especially on Sundays. We always have between 8 and 18 for our weekly dinner get-togethers. It’s informal and the design is made for it. One island is where folks congregate to have drinks and appetizers and the next one is where the food prepping takes place. It’s beautiful and it works for us. We left our home in capable hands without any worries about them having total access to it during our absence. Catherine and her team kept us abreast of challenges and they were prompt with solutions and delivered what they had promised. Catherine and team, thank you for your expertise, insight, workmanship, and your professionalism and for making our 25 year dream a reality.

We hired Marina from CPI Interiors to help with the refresh of our main living area and we can't express how much the end result has exceeded our expectations. Not only do the new colours make us feel like we have a new home, she found an area rug and painting that go perfectly with the new decor. It's not only the direct service that she provided, but the number of useful suggestions that make you think "Why didn't I think of that?". We are excited to bring Marina in again for our next phase of changes!

We bought a house in a different city in the Spring, and were set to move with our three young kids in the summer. The house required quite a few renos and lots of cosmetic help. The task was daunting and we were exhausted just thinking about it. We had never hired an interior designer and were very hesitant to spend money on what seemed like such a luxury, but after a quick telephone conversation with Natalie Cox of CPI Interiors, we felt so comfortable with her that we took the leap - and never looked back! Natalie is extremely good at giving her clients not only what they say they want, but what they actually need, which may or may not be the same thing at times. This is how Natalie ends up paying for herself - we avoided several costly mistakes we would have regretted thanks to her! She never made us feel pressured or rushed, and she really helped us decide where to splurge and where to save, which was very much appreciated. We didn't want a "designer house", we wanted a "home", and Natalie got that right away. She was able to create beautiful spaces that flow, while still making functionality a priority. Every colour, piece of furniture, and decorating tip she gave has created such a timeless, yet comfy and cozy home, we are confident that we will be able to watch our kids grow in a home that we will love for years to come. Thank you, Natalie!

CPI's after sale service is just one of the reasons I recommend Catherine and her whole team. Seven years after our kitchen renovation, CPI looked after the replacement of a broken drawer slide - at no cost to us. Choosing Catherine and CPI Interiors to renovate our kitchen in 2012 was a great decision. We love our kitchen to this day, and wouldn't change anything.

Great experience with Megan Patterson and CPI Interiors! Pros at what they do. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

I recently worked with Natalie Cox to redesign and renovate several rooms in my house. Before calling CPI, I couldn't make up my mind what to do, where to put my money, and how I wanted things to look. Natalie made everything easy by making thoughtful suggestions, taking into account my tastes and needs, and coming up with designs that worked well for my family. There were a few hiccups along the way but Natalie was always quick to respond and rectify everything to my satisfaction. The end result is beautiful, I absolutely love it. I highly recommend Natalie and I will be calling her again for my next project.

If I could give CPI Interiors six stars I would! We met Catherine through a kitchen webinar she hosted last October. Catherine saw the potential in our kitchen right away, came up with a design and completely changed our kitchen! We are so delighted with her choice of colours, layout, tile, cupboards, handles, faucets, window treatments and then furnishings too. Her contractor was awesome, the tradespeople were great and believe it or not, everything was finished on the earlier end of the estimate! How often does that happen? The scheduling and communication with us was perfect. Catherine and her team will always be our first go-to for anything renovation wise or decorating. Thank you again Catherine!

Catherine Pulcine came to my home for an initial design consult for a kitchen renovation. We discussed ideas and potential changes. As our meeting was winding down, she gave me a hard sell for her services of $2500 plus tax, asking me to pay her immediately which surprised me. I didn’t like the pressure but I decided to go ahead with her services because I was anxious to get work on my kitchen started. We agreed that her services included design and project management through completion of the kitchen renovation within a budget of $35K. After her team and a contractor came to measure my home the budget came in over $60K. Bringing a second contractor for another quote also brought the budget over $60K. As this was way over my budget – almost double - I had to find another contractor to do the work. I found it misleading and dishonest of her to have taken me on as a client when she must have known her services would cost much more than what my budget would allow. I asked her why she took me on as a client when I couldn’t afford her prices and she didn’t have an answer. I sent her repeated emails asking for a refund of my initial $2500 because her services did not meet even the most fundamental aspects of our agreement but I did not receive a response. I found Catherine’s behaviour unprofessional and deceptive. Furthermore, I didn’t feel very involved in the design process. I was given one option for each kitchen detail and if I didn’t like her choice I needed to explain why I didn’t like it leaving me feeling like I didn’t have many options/choices at all. Catherine’s working style didn’t mesh with mine. I found her difficult to work with. Response to the owners comments: The fact still remains that Catherine did not make adjustment to come close to my 35K budget and that she shouldn’t have taken me on as a client. All of the visits, plans and revisions were a waste of my time as well as theirs if there was no intent to come within what I could afford (and a waste of my $2500). At one of our meetings, Catherine told me that I should be spending 20% of the value of my home on a new kitchen which came to $60K, coincidentally the budget she would not budge from. I was expected to increase the amount I was willing to spend instead of changes being made by Catherine to have the price of the renovation come within the budget we agreed on. As for the scope, it did not change. If anything it decreased as I removed window treatments and a cupboard insert among other things. These were minor and didn’t help the overall cost much. I only attended the first half of the kitchen presentation led by Catherine as I had to head home to relieve my sitter. The fee structure must have been discussed in the second half because I was not aware of it and no one mentioned it when I made the appointment. I have found someone else to do the work who I trust and respect and came well within my budget. This was a good lesson in “Buyer Beware”. You may end up paying what Catherine thinks you should pay and not what your stated and agreed on budget was.

Not for all budgets. Expect to budget twice as much as what you had in mind. We passed. Found someone that was willing to work with our budget.

I have used Catherine's services in my own home and have recommended her to several clients as well over the years. Fabulous design sense and she really listens to her clients. Top-notch!

My husband and I recently became new homeowners in Toronto. As it's an older home, with lots of character, it needed some updates and renovations as well as creative ways of making space for our furniture and adding a touch of something new. Catherine and her team are extremely talented. After only 1 meeting Catherine understood our needs and made us feel comfortable enough that I trusted her to take on this task as we both have very demanding careers. I have to say she made our first home into our dream home and we were not even in the same city! From recommending the right type of paint, to selecting furniture to fit our space and budget and findings us contractors in Toronto to renovate our master-bedroom with a walk-in closet. Catherine's attention to detail was phenomenal. The team was exceptionally professional and responsive. We are so happy with CPI Interiors and would recommend them without reservation to anyone!

CPI Interiors just helped us renovate 2 bathrooms. Catherine’s design idea and implementation was beyond our expectations. The choices she made are of the best quality and the results are just stunning. I would highly recommend her services and will definitely be looking forward to our next project together.

I want to tell you about an incredible experience I had with Natalie Cox - CPI Interiors. We decided to leave our old home fully furnished when we made it a rental, and I was faced with a daunting task of designing and furnishing a whole house. I'm a numbers girl - I'm trying to find my creative side, but it's definitely a work in process. My number-crunching brain was weary about paying a bunch of money to hire a professional, so I started to try to do it myself - what a complete flop! I was picking things and running them by her, and realizing most things I was picking were completely the wrong size and a lot of the colours/patterns/furniture types were just not meshing. I took the plunge - and I can never go back! We had a quick consultation, she knew very quickly what I was going for and my style, and the rest was her job. She came back to me within a few weeks with a whole Powerpoint presentation with 3-D renderings of each room so I could see EXACTLY how each piece looked in the rooms and how it all came together to make the perfect cozy/chic spaces I envisioned. She knocked it out of the park - everything was perfect, and within 6 weeks I had white glove service when her team showed up with all my furniture assembled, hung drapes, set up all the furniture in the different rooms exactly how it was planned and BAM! We had our perfectly decorated spaces in a matter of an hour. We didn't lift a finger. Natalie was a DREAM to work with - we get compliments every time we have visitors and I'm always so excited to tell them how amazing it was to work with her. We saved so much money in the end by not taking time of our work days to shop for a million hours, and then returning and exchanging a bunch of stuff that didn't work, and waiting for new stuff. If you or someone you know is looking for a facelift for their house or office space, you must reach out to Natalie Cox. You will be so glad you did! She does everything from just furniture and decor, to full on bathroom and kitchen renos. Thanks Nat!!

A HUGE shout out to Catherine and her CPI Interiors staff. We hired them to do a major renovation of the whole main floor of our 30 year old home. Catherine came out to see what we wanted, listened to everything we listed and then came back with a design that knocked our socks off! We picked our start date and were told 6-8 weeks to completion. The contractors were fabulous! Answered any questions we had (I had a few....) were respectful of our property, and even kept an eye out for our cat who would escape if given a chance. All but the small finishing details was complete by the middle of the 6th week, and once the adjusted materials came in for our after-the-design-was-done changes (I can change my mind... right?) those finishing details were quickly taken care of and they STILL finished on the last day of the 8th week! We've had a lot of friends/family in to see the end result, and everyone has been impressed!! It's like I'm living in a new home without the stress of selling/buying. Thank you SO much, Catherine - I absolutely LOVE my new home!!!

I have used Catherine many times over the years and she never disappoints. Her and her staff have always made the whole experience very easy. CPI also has such a great variety of "everything and anything" to make your vision a reality... AND if you don't have a vision, Catherine and her team, have a way of giving you a "vision" by asking you what you like and don't like about your home (inside or outside) and coming up with the coolest ideas ever. Promise, if you use CPI you'll be very, very happy.

We had been wanting to do a makeover of our master bathroom and bedroom for a long time and hired Natalie after reading her blog posts and Instagram highlights. We wanted a local designer who could help us source products and take the pressure off the design choices. We have lived in the house for 16 years in the style choices of the previous owner. We liked their choices as it was tasteful and generally “not offensive to the senses” but we really had no sense of personal style. We preferred to spend our money on original artwork and not necessarily on quality furnishings. I was nervous with the first visit as she had to get a sense of us by walking through our place knowing that most of it wasn’t a true representation of us. We are not the type to make vision boards or create Pinterest inspirations however we know what we like and what we don’t like. Natalie was able to ask questions and focus on the minor details in things that she noticed that somehow repeated in our spaces. Her attention to detail is impeccable. For a large project we were paralyzed with the options and didn’t know where to start. Natalie dove in and took the assignment of making all of the decisions based on what she observed from our meetings and presented them in a logical and thoughtful way taking into account our lifestyle, our stage in life and longevity we would be occupying the space. She was willing to modify and edit items that we felt might be more suitable and was quick to offer alternatives when the supply chain during the pandemic made original choices difficult to source. She absolutely designed a space that appealed to our tastes. Natalie knew we had a window of 5 weeks when we would be away and paired us with an amazing general contractor who was available to start during that time. She and her assistant acted as our spokesperson during those weeks and therefore took all of the pressure off us for being available to deal with the things that would pop up during the demolition and the practical spatial issues during the initial phases of work. The only decisions we had to make were around the billing. We took a hands off approach (even upon our return) which was exactly what we were looking for and we were 100% happy with our outcome! We had a detailed time-line that was surprisingly met. The renovation process was completely stress free for us as we knew we were in great hands with Natalie and Alan our contractor. We would absolutely recommend Natalie to friends and neighbors. JoAnne MacNeil and Andy Marshall

As with all large reno projects we had some hiccups along the way but CPI service was excellent. They stayed committed to delivering a quality project and we are very happy with the final result.

Working with Natalie Cox on the design process before and after I moved into a condo relieved a great deal of stress over the last 11 months. Natalie's talent and attention to detail turned a space into a home. I love every piece that I chose based on her design. Natalie's commitment to excellent service was evident from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend Natalie and hope to work with her again on future projects.

Highly Recommend! We had a great experience with CPI Interiors. As first-time home buyers moving in to a new space, we were overwhelmed with everything from paint colours, to furniture layouts/selections, and how to make our new space both suit our lifestyle and feel like a home. Catherine was able to point out features in the space that only an experienced professional would understand. She provided us with lots of valuable advice, guidance and recommendations that not only suited us, but also made us feel more knowledgeable and confident making decisions as first-time homeowners. We are so grateful to have the wealth of experience and knowledge of CPI Interiors behind us as we settle in to our new home.
