I consulted shelby as I purchased my first home and was looking for design help. She was great and really took away the stress of planning and styling my new home. I always thought interior design services are for people with big budgets but that was definitely a myth. Great ideas and she really understood our style and saved us from making design mistakes. I would highly recommend Novak Design for anyone looking to design their home.

CoVid lockdown had started, so we decided to try online design -- a brand new experience! We have enormous admiration and appreciation for Shelby's work. Nothing feels the same old, same old. She was respectful of our budget, timely in all her responses, and went well beyond our expectations to help us find our look. Shelby was unfailingly cheerful, patient, and always creative. What can I say Shelby from Novak Design Co. is amazing! We recently did a photo shoot at Markham Furniture with Shelby from Novak Design Co. and it couldn't of gone any better. She set up many room groupings brilliantly, accessorized the showroom terrifically and her touch is exceptional. She didn't stop until every shot was perfect. The images turned out beautiful and her sharp touch is perfect. Her professionalism and keen eye are exactly what we were looking for and we cant wait to work with her again, I wish I was able to give a higher rating!

I worked with Shelby when I was selecting hardware, finishes, and some furniture pieces for my family's previous home last year. She was a really responsive, talented, and patient designer, a joy to work with. I was very impressed by the results! Check out the pictures taken when the property was on sale! When selecting the hardware and stones for my kitchen and bathroom, I was extremely busy with the work that I had and she was able to visit the home, take measurements and pictures, visit the materials store that I selected, and brought samples back to my home to take pictures and make recommendations for me. All of this was done on a short notice and under the quoted hours. The service and results were really beyond my expectations :) She also helped design a few rooms in my house, and the results were amazing. Unfortunately, many of those pieces were moved to my new home when the pictures were taken. Nonetheless, I'm very happy with the turnout and I hope to work with them in the near future!
