Lovely store. Lots of selection. Arrows for social distancing were not enforced. Staff was a little tricky to track down due to those same arrows that I tried to respectfully follow. It was a little frustrating as many other customers seemed to just ignore the signs. There was a bell at the front I believe but not sure because I just looked quickly - there were other people at the counter looking at something. There was no staff at the front of the store. I think they were in the back counter where their computers seemed to be. Still worth a look through for some interesting home decor. I may try to go back on a quieter day.

If you are looking for a $60 candle or $1000 chair, that is your place. Their discounted rack is great, so in case if you are not in search of $60 candle - check it. For some reason, staff is very unpleasant.

This is a very cool, Rustic Home Decor store. They carry some very cool Canadian Made Products, we rather liked the Bison Leather Handmade Goods. Definitely not a bargin, but very high quality. Lots of metal worked decor and woodworking decor. Some modern and some made to look very rustic. They carried some token Gift shop kind of things, I rather enjoyed the unique cards (but I'm a paper freak) you could definitely drop a lot of money in this store if you like the cabik life kind of feel.

Stonewaters is a locally owned business, now in its 20th year. We have always liked this store and they still have a nice selection of home accessories. Today I saw some leather Bison wallets and some greeting cards we had not seen before. Local artists and locally sourced souvenirs that have more meaning because they are local. Good job with an assortment of smaller items .....

I had a horrible customer service experience today. I was in Canmore shopping for decor, for my new medical spa. As a person of color, I was treated with disrespect, as if I didn't have enough money to purchase the items in the store. When I asked for help, one of the sales associates gave me one story and when I asked for clarification regarding their policy on furniture, the manager, Chelsea D, gave me another contradicting statement. Keep in mind, every interaction with them was belittling. Then, they went and talked about me, out loud at the cash register, in front of all other customers, unaware that I was standing behind them waiting to pay for the furniture. I have not felt this type of racism in any other place. As an owner of multiple businesses, I would never allow any of my customers, no matter their background, to ever feel this way. I will never shop in this place again.

Feels like we always have to stop by this place when we are in Canmore. It's a staple of the Canmore experience. There are a lot of unique items for sale here and the store supports a lot of local or Canadian businesses. The staff are excited about their products. There was a gentleman who sold me on the leather wallets they had on display. His enthusiasm was infectious and made me feel good about my purchase.
