He was willing to do a quote for us even though we engaged him over six months before we actually took possession. When we got to meet him in person for measurements he was kind, courteous, punctual and super professional. He explained all of the blind options and features and gave us a wealth of information so that we could choose the best product for our needs. We were able to have our blinds installed within two weeks of our measurement appointment which was a fantastic surprise as normally it takes some time for the product to arrive. Our installer was also fabulous and quick - he installed 13 blinds in under two hours. We absolutely love our blinds and highly recommend Sonata, and Matt, to anyone who may be looking for window coverings.

The initial installer did a stand-up job. He saw that one of the blinds was visibly damaged, and even though it could have been covered up without me noticing, he told me about it and a new one was ordered and installed. I probably wouldn't have noticed the damage unless I had to remove the blinds for whatever reason, so his diligence and honesty are appreciated. Rather than cutting corners, he was keen to give me a perfect product. It's this type of service that makes me happy to give referrals to my friends and family.

My wife and I dealt with Sonata as we had them supply and install all of window coverings in our new home. We were happy with the pricing, timelines and service that was provided. We did have one little issue in regards to a cord that stopped working but called Brandi over in Service and she crushed it! Had a guy at our place in the next couple days to try and fix which wasn't possible so she had temp blinds installed and sent our blind away and we had it back in our hands less than 2 weeks later. The first retailer was pushing a specific brand which was driving up costs and I had to sacrifice function to save money. I rarely leave business reviews, but this experience has to be documented. We upgraded to Hunter Douglas blinds for our house with this company. One of the blind cords snapped in 2 pieces after less than 2 years of use but thankfully HD blinds come with lifetime warranty. It took 4 months and 4 separate install visits to have this simple cord repaired (and it is still not repaired properly). The company’s customer service is extremely disappointing- you as the customer are left to continuously inquire about your service appointment and status. It should not take 4 separate visits for a blind repair specialist to fix something as simple as a cord. Also, it is important to note is that the cord is still not fixed properly, the installer drilled an addition hole in my window frame and my cords are not level. At this point having a somewhat functioning blind is better than trying to schedule a 5th appointment with this company.

Lynda was very knowledgeable and provided us with different options while being mindful of our budget. Our only disappointment was that our blinds were not installed on our possession date. We had specifically requested for the blinds to be installed on our possession date since we have large windows. However, the Trico site supervisor informed us that the blinds were on back order and that it would be installed the following week. We were not informed about this prior to possession which was frustrating. However, the Trico rep was able to make arrangements for installation the following day.

I originally did my upper part of the house with Sonata Design and with that in mind I decided to do the basement as well. It took some time to make the final selection seeing that it was all done through emails due to Covid 19 but little did I know it was going to take 7+ weeks to get my blinds. Everytime I asked for an ETA I was told it would ship the next day but obviously that didn't happen. Frustrated I followed up again and again I was told it was shipping the next day so I brought to their attention that the was what they said a couple of weeks ago. This is the response I received from the lead designer: …" I originally quoted these shades for you on June 2nd at which time you said you would get back to me; you then got back to me 6 weeks later on August 12th and we had them site measured a week later before receiving the green light from you on September 2nd (3 months to the day after initiating your inquiry) to proceed with the order..." This is unacceptable treatment. As a consumer I should not feel pressured to buy anything. It is in my right, as a consumer to decide when I make a purchase. I guess customer service is not something they promote.
