Both were complete transformations which have improved our family’s quality of life exponentially. Going from a tiny closed-in kitchen to an open plan main floor has made our lives more connected and enjoyable. The invaluable guidance Brenda provided was a perfect fit for our mid-century modern taste. Every detail was perfect. A few years later, I still thrill to enter these rooms and wish we’d taken the plunge earlier! Brenda worked with us to keep within our budget. We are VERY house proud - and that’s all thanks to Brenda’s vision for us We noticed very quickly how valuable it was having a designer involved In our full house renovation. Big picture + great details - all tying in - looking great and working smart for our family. She is always making sure there is strong value for us in any design element; be it function, wow factor or price. And it hasn’t been easy to give us the wow and practical with young school kids, 3 big dogs and working parents to accommodate into the design. Lol. There is Nothing better than going furniture or materials shopping with Brenda!! How else are you going to feel confident having a peacock feather stair runner?! We wanted to renovate the whole house but knew it would have to be done over time. Brenda was able to get us started on the right foot with a full house plan, so we stayed on track when we were biting off pieces. But all the recommendations she made at our initial consult - on how to make small aesthetic changes in the beginning - allowed us to happily live In the house prior and during any Reno.

She was able to translate our desire of having a modern/dark aesthetic in the living room, and blending it with the rest of our, not dark aesthetic house. With a great eye for design and style the team has been involved from the drafting stage all the way through site visits and product selection. A very integrated approach from start to finish. More importantly than the style and design help though Brenda and Alexis are able to envision the "livability" of a space and the little tweaks in the planning and site visit phase have been critical for the usability AND beauty of our final project.
