I do not recommend this place. While camping in BC, I brought my cat with us and my partner and I wanted to do some stuff in the city for two days, so we wouldn’t worry about our cat. We dropped her off at this place in a kennel for two days. When I got her... she was so traumatized that a day later... she pooped all over at my dads house. I don’t think she went during her time there. She became a different cat after that, I’m not sure what they did to her but if I’m back in this area I won’t take her to this place anymore.

My dog had been suffering environmental allergens and itchy skin for many years. Got blood tests, tried atopica, various steroids for short term relief at 2-3 clinics before by chance being recommended this clinic by a stranger on the road! Dr. Masako was a very understanding doctor as she took in our dog. In two months, her prescription and recommendations helped our dog regain her youthful energy as she welcomed her 10th birthday! I strongly recommend Dr. Masako.

He is invariably kind, considerate and attentive to our little guy. We've been through many monthly maintenance visits and one acute episode, all favorable and helpful. Very highly recommended

We switched over from our previous vet because of all the great things that we heard about the West Vancouver Veterinary Hospital. Our dog Eddie always had a problem with our last vet and staying still for check ups and needles. Since we came to Dr. Sandhu, Eddie is noticeably calmer and doesnt have any trouble or anxiety getting check ups or needles. Dr. Sandhu is very calm, caring and noticeably loves his job. We can't recommend this Vet highly enough.

Whatever you do DO NOT send your pet to West Vancouver Veterinary Hospital. This is now the second time I had to argue with the vet to provide us with proof of medication administered. She administers medication to our Dog Willow but then refuses to provide proof that it was actually administered. They clearly show us at time of visit but for travel purposes we require the documents. This has happened not once but twice now. She will argue with you for 20 minutes and come up with all sorts of excuses as to why she won't do it. None of them logical or ethical. This is the worst experience of my life on the planet with a business. She has now almost destroyed our travel plans because of her incompetence. Prior to arriving at the vet we had everything we needed in terms of instructions for the vet for our travel. Upon arrival we gave those instructions to their staff but the front staff stopped us from delivering those instructions and shared the vet does this every day and knows exactly what the CFIB needs in order to get the stamp of approval for travel. We did not feel confident that they knew what she needed. They also did not inform us that the CFIB was booking two weeks in advance to get the stamp of approval for our dog but thats another issue. Of course when we arrive at the CFIB they shared our vet did not send certificates of medication administered and that we would require that before departure. When we asked her for it she repeatedly said she would not do it and that the CFIB does not need it. After we literally got denied from the CFIB because it was missing. You do not want your pet in thier hands. Right from the front door to the actual treatment you're better off going to another vet. In the 40 years I have been alive I have never seen a case of neglect and unethical business practices as I seen here. We will be reporting to the Veterinary association to get her license revoked.

Brought my dog here, and as a first time dog parent, I needed a lot of help. Other vets really tried to take all my money, and didn't seem to care about my dog. Dr. Sandhu has been consistently honest, transparent, caring and helpful with each visit. It's hard to find an honest vet these, but this clinic is excellent!

Dr Misako has done such a great job helping our 18 year old cat that has hyperthyroidism and kidney disease. We really trust her advice and appreciate the care and attention she gives. You can tell she really loves animals. Our other cat who has extreme anxiety loves going to see her too for his lion cuts. Best vet we have ever been to.

I thought that a teacher who can speak Japanese would be better if possible, so I chose this hospital. Dr. Mizuno pointed out a heart noise that was not noticed in Japan, and subsequently found a heart disease for a cat. Thanks to that, I can take measures in the future and my cat is still fine. During the year and a half I lived in Vancouver, I am indebted to Dr. Mizuno and Dr. Sanduh. We had Dr. Sanduh pick up every time I went to hospital, and I was very kind above all. I think I can trust this hospital and two Dr.'s. This is the best vetI have ever been to and I have three dogs and two birds. Very knowledgeable and compassionate and reasonable. They are open seven days a week and you don't have to pay expensive fees for a trip to the emergency vet. I only wish I had found Dr Sandu long time ago

The doctors here are so kind and caring. They really do love animals. Prices are the good, and they don't try to make you buy things when it's not needed. I always call in when my dog feels sick and they listen to me very carefully and provide great advice on what to monitor for the next few hours before going to the vet in person. High integrity and caring vet. Highly recommend to anyone.
