Friendly staff and excellent clinic. Bonus with the Pure pharmacy right inside the clinic with amazing pharmacists.

Caelan cross

Ya basically what everybody else said. Holy cow this place is NOT good.

ethan horner

Receptionist on a personal call made me wait around 10 minutes, then the doctor wasn't able to tell I had strep throat so had to do a culture swab.i then went home and self diagnosed my strep throat due to the fact my throat is literally the example photo of a strep throat patient if googled

James Pettit

After an hour wait, doctor came in and took 15 seconds to look at my shoulder and immediately said I needed physio. Also tried to tell me I needed to buy this special cream for 50 bucks a bottle. If you need to go to a clinic don't ever go here.

Leili Sharif

I can not understand these reviews. I have the most amazing service at this clinic. Dr Taghaodi is the best and amazing front end staff. If I could give ten stars I would.

Please read before going! Having to go to one of their walk in clinics due to an urgent head injury (our family doctor was unavailable, but recommended us seeing someone) we found ourselves at the clinic. I won't repeat the other reviews that talk about tardiness and rudeness. Rather I point out a few very important things: Communication is difficult, the receptionists were trying their best, but our doctor was not listening to our concerns. Most staff DID NOT FOLLOW COVID PROTOCOL, masks were off quite a bit. I am a male, there is very little confusion about that, yet on the invoice I was listed as being a female. Basics! How can I trust any other advice. When asked for advice on next steps, I was told to talk to my family doctor. Okay? When asked what to not do in the mean time, he had "no comment" and offered to write a note saying whatever I wanted. He asked "is that enough time?" And when I asked for his recommendation, again no comment. That note was a half sentence, and they charged us $26 for a piece of paper, without warning... Additionally, THE RECEIPT WAS TO ANOTHER BUSINESS, and apparently I visited the 'coal harbour medical clinic'! Very sketchy operation operated by at best amateurs, DO NOT GO!

Dr. Rambod Taghoudi is very incompetent and has zero manners on how to manage patients properly. Reception is also quite incompetent and booked me for phone appointments that were never executed. Overall horrible walk-in clinic with doctors that have questionable knowledge. I would not recommend this clinic at all!

Sanaz Tavakkol

Experienced poor service, poor scheduling and poor communication from both the receptionists and the doctor (Dr. Ebrahim). You would not want to get such quality of service and attention after waiting for weeks to get an appointment.

Doctors here either hate their jobs or are too lazy to listen to their patients. Dr. Hootkani will make referrals to pure pharmacy, located inside the clinic, for compound pain cream prescriptions for “whatever” pain you might be having; these aren’t covered by insurance nor are they effective. You won’t be told beforehand and will end up paying out of pocket. If you book a phone-call appointment with Dr. Shahrokhi, expect him to be at least 15-20 minutes late and then in a rush to hang up, giving you about 2 minutes of his time. Very unprofessional.

Evan Shewchuk

Doctor was exremely dismissive and didn't care to listen about anything at all. Seemed combative. Would not go here again. Did not feel taken care of at all.

Rae Virtue

The Doctor was incredibly rude to me. I have previously made a phone appointment and he said I needed to see him in person, so I drove an hour to the clinic and he didn't even look at me - at all, barely even made eye contact and tapped some things into a laptop. When I asked him for a requisition to get my shoulders taped his response was "can you read" and pointed with a pen to a sign BEHIND me saying "only one issue per visit"...but technically that was my second visit as well..When doctors act like that it makes it really hard to be calm and say everything you need to because you always feel like you're wasting there time when really its the other way around!

Had to call 4 times to schedule an appointment with a specialist at their clinic. Each time they asked to call back because they were too busy. I kid you not, 4 times. At some point I was asking myself - is this real life?

Caroline Hansen

I just can’t understand these reviews. I have had the most amazing service at this clinic. Incredible Dr’s and front end staff. If I could give ten stars I would.

Ana Stasia

I was trying to inquire if they were accepting new patients. I called once, no response (not even a voicemail). On the second try, I was automatically put on hold for 10 mins. When the receptionist answered, she hang up on me in 10 seconds! I called the 3rd time to see if I was accidentally disconnected, and guess what - I was put on hold again. The reviews of other people must be true. I have no interest in being a patient of this questionable clinic with terrible customer service.

Evelyn Martin

The secretary was lovely, but that’s about the only positive in my experience.

Going to this clinic has been one of the worst health-related experiences I've lived since I arrived in Canada. It doesn't surprise me it has such a low rate! They tried to charge me $160 because they said my MSP wasn't up to date even if I called them that same day to confirm everything was ok. A week after, when I triple check my MSP was up to date, I went all the way to West Van just to learn they also charge $250 (!) for filling a form they needed to send to my specialist, saying the MSP didn't cover that. Turns out that's completely false! I went to another clinic and they never mentioned a fee for that service. They filled it in 10 minutes and sent it to the specialist. What they're doing should be illegal! or I must say, it is illegal! Don't waste your time here, ever!

Doctor clearly disinterested and not caring whatsoever.Had to tell him basically what to do since he was not offering to do anything about my concerns nor answered my question as he just sat there waiting to get the appointment over with ….Won’t go back to this clinic . Worst experience ever!

The most unprofessional and unorganized medical clinic I've ever been too! The staff are extremely rude and incompetent of doing their jobs properly. They lied about accepting new patients just to get us in to their clinic! Further to this, the Dr. Divulged confidential information about my appointment to my husband over the phone which is a breech of my privacy! I will be contacting BC health about this clinic and we will NOT be returning!

Mara Woolf

Worst doctor experience in over 30 years on 4 continents. Doctor has absolutely no bedside manners, nor professional or trustworthy. Wish I had never stepped into this clinic and I did it twice. Please don’t waste your time and money here!

Muhhamad Alkazar

(Translated) They were making fun of my warts that I asked them to treat. (Original) كانوا يسخرون من ثآليلي التي طلبت منهم علاجها.

Receptionist was friendly . Dr . Taghaodi didn't seem to pay enough attention to the details I was explaining . He made 2 different diagnosis in 2 minutes which really surprised me and I don't think any of these were correct . I would not recommend him to anyone .

I had a lot of acne on my face and feel so sad about it. Had a consult with Dr. Ebrahim. Gave me a prescription and topical medications. She also gave a short talk about my sadness regarding my acne. Felt I also consulted to a psychologist. Now my face is a lot more better and I also feel better. Thank you Dr. Ebrahim!

Dr Ebrahim is a most caring and wonderful doctor. They might run a few minutes late sometimes but big deal.. it's a new office and they're settling in. I've been a patient of this doctor for the last 8 months and she's nothing short of fantastic!!! I followed her after treatment plan, and in a few days I got beautiful results. Thank you for your care, Dr Ebrahim.

Len Peters

Don't waste your time with these clowns. They are completely incapable of keeping an appointment even in the same afternoon. My latest phone appointment was three hours late.

Bryana Russell

Worst doctor I’ve ever seen. As our family doctor was unable to see me for several weeks, we scheduled an appointment to see someone quickly, avoiding a trip to urgent care. I waited for 30 mins post appointment time. During my wait, a gentleman returned to the clinic to demonstrate that the stitches he had received yesterday were poorly done and not helping. I should have known my appointment, too, would be a bust! In walked Dr. Rambod Taghaodi. He didn’t introduce himself and simply asked why are you here. He then argued with me that he couldn’t do anything because he wasn’t my GP. He asked no questions, spent less than a minute examining me, and walked out of the room while I was still speaking. This place is a sham. They appear medically incompetent and as though it’s a money grab. Go anywhere else but here.

A. G.

After waiting for 10 minutes to speak to the receptionist, I was told they would have to charge me for my son to see one of their doctors because we have a GP. (He needed a quick OK for a dental procedure.) Um, what? I thought we had universal healthcare in BC. Just when you think you have heard it all. I would not waste my time with this place!

The receptionist asks every patient visiting “reasons for visit” in front of all other patients to hear. Super unprofessional. Had an appointment for 3:30, was seen after 4pm. The doctor ( Rambod Taghaodi )did not want to see me as I “sneezed once” and told him from my files you can see I tested negative for covid two days ago. He didn’t care to what I had to say about having sinus surgery and I was worried I had an infection. Told him my ear hurt and wouldn’t look in it. I asked for a doctors note for work and said it would be $26. And asked what and why I needed it for… Felt like my appointment was rushed and no Sincere doctors work here. This was my third time trying it out.

John Isernia

I have always been pleased with the time and service the doctors at this clinic have provided me. Yes they do have some wait times and granted they do move around a lot. They do their best to accommodate short notice appointments and they do keep to their schedule when a telephone booking is requested. Shout out to the receptionist for her phone etiquette and the way she handles so many some times impatient patient inquires.

Elle D

Had a scheduled appointment for 3:50 pm. After an hour later of no phone call I called THEM and they said they were running behind. I did not end up getting ANY phone call until 7:09 pm. The reception line as well didn't go through during my second call.

Lucy

This is the worst clinic I have ever been to. They were late for my phone appointment; I had to call reception to find at what is happening. Then I was told the doctor would call me soon. Okay, sure. When the doctor called (DR. ROMBOD TAGHAODI), he kept interrupting me, didn't let me completely talk about my symptoms before prescribing me drops (didn't even say why or what the drops were for), and then cut the call off by interrupting me. Absolute terrible service. I wouldn't even mind the wait if they actually offered good healthcare. More harm than good done at this appointment.

James Walcott

We had an appointment for our daughter's 4 month vaccinations. We had made an error about the time, showed up early, and inquired if the appointment would still be on time roughly 40 mins in the future. We were told they were slightly behind but to come back when scheduled. When we came back, we are told the doctor had left for the day. We were assured everything would be rectified by the receptionist. Obviously unhappy, we made another appointment for 9:30ish the following morning. I took time off work to make it to the appointment. The following day, we arrived on time. When we arrived, we were told that they didn't have the correct vaccines and could not accommodate us whatsoever. This was probably the worst and most poorly run clinic I've ever been to. I urge everyone and anyone not to trust or visit this clinic.

Had similar experience as Vasu. Either the receptionist is incapable of communicating/leaving the right note to the doctor, or the doctor doesn't respect patient’s time.

We waited 50 minutes to meet the doctor. He diagnosed in exactly 2.8 minutes. Listened to the heartbeat and whatnot, and didn't let us speak. Like, what? Isn't the point of a doctor listening to the patient and finding out what is wrong? Man didn't even let us speak. Waiting 50 minutes for 1 minute conversation with a doctor is a new record, I think. He was the worst and rudiest doctor ever. Man's name is Dr.Rambod. So my advice: DO NOT EVER, EVER, EVER GO THERE.

Vasu Sreeni

Had scheduled appointment at 2.20pm. called clinic at 4pm stating I haven't received a call yet. The doctor, Dr Rambod called back at 4.50pm, informed the doctor, I waited for him this long and just stepped out to pick up food. Asked him to call back in 10 mins (as the number was private) I would be home. Never got a call. I had to taken permission and postponed couple of meetings at work for this appointment. Disappointed as there is no common courtesy or respect for time.

Sets a new standard for poor service. At this point I feel a bit like Ron Burgundy watching his terrier devour a whole wheel of cheese - I'm not even mad, I'm just impressed. It takes real effort to be this incompetent and for that the clinic should be commended. I went to this clinic to get a doctor's note for travel to the US. Upon arrival they told me that they didn't see patients in-person for this purpose - they then called me to advise that this was actually incorrect and they could have seen me in person. They then booked a phone appointment with me the following day which they promptly missed. When I called they rescheduled me for later in the day. Upon FINALLY connecting with them they informed me that they cannot provide doctors notes for COVID recovery until 2 weeks post test, despite this being in contravention of the public health guidelines from the CDC. They jovially advised that this was a personal policy. Now, despite the fact that I had told them about my test date repeatedly during the 4 separate occasions we spoke they decided to only tell me of this asynchronous personal policy when they finally upheld their booked appointment. This meant that I was unable to book another doctor's appointment and will likely miss my flight and my first week of University classes. I don't think I could be this poor at service if I tried, so kudos to them for that.

Never listen what patient want to speak.

First bad review I've ever written, but an unbelievably bad experience. I was told they were taking on new patients for a family doctor. I live in Gibsons which is a ferry ride away, but it would still be the closest place accepting new patients. I called the clinic and explained, they said it was no problem and all I needed to do is come in for an appointment and go over my family history. So I took the day off of work, jumped on the ferry and came to the clinic. As I approached the clinic, someone leaving was mumbling under their breath and told me "Good luck..." which is not exactly what you want to hear going to the doctors. I checked in and informed them I would require a form for the ferry (when you are in remote communities you are exempt from ferry fees while on medical business) figuring this way they can get it ready instead of me holding things up after the appointment. The "waiting room" was three chairs, with four or five people standing around shoulder to shoulder (it's very small). I thought that was odd considering it's covid times. They put me in an examination room for my 3:00 appointment. At about 3:50 one of the receptionists (both of them seemed to be genuinely nice people just overwhelmed) came in and said in surprise "You're still here?" Finally the doctor comes in about an hour late. Tells me, "no, this is a walk in clinic. If you come here four or five more times we can talk about the family doctor part. Does a quick "is there anything else?" Then leaves. He seemed in general to be pretty annoyed that he had to talk to anyone. At this point I'm pretty annoyed as well. I took the day off, spent five hours round trip travelling for this. I figure I'll get my ferry form and leave, I can always just look at is a day listening to music in the car. I ask for it and they tell me the never got them, so I'm going to have to go without it (I know $80 isn't a lot for some people, but for some of us it still is). The doctor I presume owns it explains this clinic is new, apologizes quickly then walks out the front door. I'm just left there, dumbfounded. A woman in the waiting room tells me "I can't believe how awful this place is" as I leave. Five days later I get a phone call from a pharmacy in West Vancouver I had never heard of, telling me that my blood pressure prescription is ready. He never took my blood pressure or even discussed blood pressure with me. Nor did I tell them to send a prescription anywhere. In the end, I took a day off work. Spent five hours travelling. The doctor was an hour late, rude and didn't care. They didn't have the proper forms, so it cost me a significant amount of money to go here for literally no reason. And they sent out a prescription in my name, that clearly wasn't for me, to a pharmacy I never heard of that likely would have been dangerous for me to take.
