Was unaware that it’s standard policy to disclose confidential patient script and contact information. What I just witnessed breaches ALL patient confidentiality and ALL privacy laws. What happened? Male refused to leave the parking lot who was clearly in intoxicated and when police came to do their job (not her job) she handed over his scripts and contact info voluntarily. Huge breach of ethical standards. All caught on video as well.

Have to say of all the shoppers I've been to, bringing my prescriptions here was a mistake. I got a call with no VM for my prescription so I walked in the rain to go get it only to be told I don't have a profile and need to wait 35 minutes. This is annoying enough if it weren't coming after I was straight up ignored for two minutes while five Pharmacy employees worked. I guess the impression I'm getting is they absolutely don't care about my business. It's impossible to understand the clerks who are quiet and behind glass and masks and they are salty enough when you do understand them. This will be first and last time for me, though I'm certain the owner does not care.

I went to there very late night around “10:00pm” because my wisdom tooth were infected so my very gentle and care doctor send a prescription to this pharmacy before I see him next day. Two men who are working there tonight, Kyle and William, were very rude and making fun of me because they didn’t receive the prescription from my doctor yet, so I was waiting my doctor’s call at next to the drop off cashier. I understand I showed up late night but it’s their job right? You chose to become pharmacist and decided to work at 24/7 pharmacy. Be nice to sick and illness people who visit you. I’m even scared to take the medicine that you prepare. Kyle seems to be sleepy, tired and high, William seems to be not in the mood to work at night. They gave me a lot of sigh to show that they really don’t want to help me. Hello? It’s your job if you don’t wanna work, change your job. It’s simple.

Much thanks to the pharmacy team today! Ive been here before, but the staff I interacted with made me feel very reassured. The pharmacists assistant (curly black hair and glasses) at the drop off station was very diligent about my questions and concerns, and was super sweet. Impeccable customer service skills. Likewise the pharmacist was super lovely and made me feel reassured in a way that the doctors' i've been encountering have not. Very grateful! I appreciate the sweet intentions!

This man assaulted young ladies at this shoppers location wearing their uniform. I took a screen recording of the video and you can see in multiple frames his blue sleeved arm around the young lady who took the video- she is wearing what appears to be a purple knitted cardigan- not blue at all. This is a highly convenient store to have in the middle of the very lively part of Davie Street, especially because it is open 24 hours. After a few drinks or a late dinner, and on your way home or back to the hotel where you are staying, you can drop in and buy a large number of items. You can probably find almost any grocery item that you need. The main problem is that the convenience of having the store open 24 hours has had a serious impact on prices. Prices that you pay here are higher than in other Vancouver neighborhoods and much higher than they are in the same chain in other Canadian cities.

Worst pharmacy ever....don't go if you need meds for your heart. They screwed up my prescription every time and then argued that they never received script...all three times I was sitting less than 5 feet from my doctor when she called and gave the pharmacist the prescription. This is the place to go for any of your late night cravings or seasonal needs. It's open 24 hours, including the pharmacy. Shoppers Drug Mart is steering itself more towards food items, as well. You can get Fresh Foods here like fruit and vegetables and even meat that you can take home and throw on the grill or it's already prepared for you and refrigerated. An interesting turn for Shoppers Drug Mart.

They need to work on the productivity of their pharmacy. I often pick up prescriptions and the line always has at least 5 people in it to do the same. Only one person helping all 5, but at any given time there are multiple staff in the pharmacy that won't step in to help reduce the line. I was fed up the last time I went to see multiple staff members just chatting and laughing away as the line kept getting bigger and bigger.

I receive excellent service in the pharmacy and, actually, I always have. I've been going there for over ten years. Even if I get someone a bit chippy on the phone, when I go to the store, they are always pleasant and go out of there way to be of assistance. I truly have never had an issue and in fact would never get my prescriptions at another store or location.

Terrible customer service. They sold me a $100 Esso Gift card with zero balance on it. When I purchased the gift card, I watched the cashier scan and supposedly, activate it. However, when my dad tried using it at the Esso station, he was told that it has a zero balance on it. So i went back to Shoppers with the gift card and the receipt. I asked them if they can take a look at the card again and try activating it again. They refused to do that and instead laughed at me for not able to read that the receipt shows it's activated. I am furious. They took my money and gave me a worthless gift card. Thanks guys!

I can’t stand this pharmacy. I have asthma, and needed a rescue inhaler. I was refused an emergency one, so I canceled a prescription I had filled at another pharmacy to transfer it there. I was then told that because I got an inhaler 3 weeks ago, they wouldn’t fill it without contacting my doctor’s office. Which is absurd, as he’s not in the office M-F (a lung specialist). Further - they were going to fax the request, which could take hours/days. I finally transferred the Rx AGAIN to the shoppers in Yaletown, which filled it without issue. I pray that no one ends up losing their life due to the ignorance and negligence of this pharmacy. Never again.

All of the workers here are wonderful but they are just horribly understaffed. They need to put more people on shift to deal with long line ups at the cashiers and the post office. Update : Left my food where I stood because you don't want to actually put more then one cashier on at a time and I refuse to go to self serve. Please improve in this area. Self serve is not the experience I want for a business getting my hard earned money.

6 months ago I was accused of stealing after I paid at the till and the security guard followed me outside and then proceeded to accuse me on stealing and ripped my shoppers bag open leaving me to pick up all my items. I couldn’t help but wonder if it was because I am indigenous but I passed it off as then actually being mistaken. NOW TODAY, one of my fellow indigenous kin was accused of being a threat when she is 5’1 and the nicest person I know. The cashier then punched her in the head multiple times and pulled her hair for no reason. The security guard was profiling them because they looked indigenous. This behaviour is DANGEROUS to the indigenous community considering all the trauma we have already faced for centuries. The staff here are horrible. They seriously need some cultural safety training because the way they behave is such a disgrace. I hope this shoppers goes out of business because they are harmful to our society.

We left the emergency room at St Paul Hospital and my son got a prescription for antibiotics. At 12.30am this is the ONLY pharmacy open in the region. The pharmacy said the system is "out" and that he can't sell the medicine. This is outrageous!! It's antibiotics, not chocolate or biscuits at a grocery store. Night in pain and infection growing, "thanks" to Shoppers Drug Mart. This is a total irresponsibility with customers.

The staff of this store are in dire need of a performance review as they could not provide adequate customer service if you had a gun to their head. Bought a defective Microsoft card from them and when I went to exchange it for a new one so as to not waste my money, they immediately and unequivocally refused to do so. All I wanted was an exchange not even a return. Bad attitude and bad service. This is my first review on google. Up to this point no other establishment I’ve ever frequented has gotten me so agitated as to write a review until now. I hope that bringing this to your attention will accentuate exactly how wholeheartedly infuriating this store is and how condescendingly poorly your staff treat many of its customers. I don’t want an apology. Do not be sorry. Be better.

This will be the last time i use this shoppers. The old Russian woman in cosmetics gave me an impression she thought i was going to steal. I'm currently enrolled in school and made a visit to grab sticky notes for my exam. Went to possibly grab some cosmetics i was running low on, and I was watched like a hawk, Made very uncomfortable she then told me how she can "ring me up now" and I said i'm not done yet. She then proceeded to tell me leave my sticky notes at the front. I felt very uncomfortable so i decided to end my shopping. Clearly looking at other reviews i'm not alone in interactions like this.

Filled a very expensive medication from their pharmacy. Was given the wrong number of pills. Apparently it takes 25+ min for their pharmacist to count to 28 (or in this case count to 14)... Lucky for me counting is pretty much in the bag, I can count to like 100 in like 2 minutes. Maybe I should be a pharmacist... After returning to the pharmacy to point out the error I was assured my future prescriptions would be "double counted" :| (spoiler alert: won't be an issue since I won't be returning)

Once upon a time this was a decent store, but as one can see by the descriptive reviews as of late, the store has gone downhill. The shabby appearance is the first giveaway. Upkeep is middling. The prices tend to be higher than normal, peppered with the odd on-sale item which really seems like bait to get you in the store. The pharmacy looks busy behind the counter but the service makes you wonder what's going on as there never seems to be a lot of customers (I dunno, is it serviced by Uber drugs or something?). The toiletries...wow, overpriced, a lot of low quality proliferates, peppered with the occasional high quality items that gathers dust and the old stock sits, waiting to eventually get marked down as their efficacy drops (those with better tastes know where to shop for more realistic prices, like online on Amazon). And the cosmetics...what a sad state of affairs. I can think of a dozen places anyone would rather go to and this seems to be more for emergencies. Not the most "handsome" crew, and any that are...well, the beauty department only serves the outside of the person, and nothing can help the poor attitudes of the clerks with catitude who look more interested in flirting with their security or checking their own makeup. It's not a "Mean Girls" revival audition; someone should inform them of that. Sleepy staff bumble around (let's not attribute this to any pandemic, there was no excuse beforehand as this lackluster effort is a mainstay), and any help consists of looking at the same aisle you did to reaffirm what you just told them. Uhhhhh, gee thanks. Managers? Supervisors? Some snot-nosed kid which brings the demeanor of a disaffected waiter (only less helpful) representing leadership doesn’t instill confidence. It makes one wonder what skills one needs to be staff there. It's like a broken sitcom but no one is laughing. There's other places in the West End, thankfully, and you will very much appreciate this review reminding you of that as you promise yourself to learn where those are for next time, and not just because of the savings, either.

Better never order pictures print to pick up on the their online page. This place is unbelievably unorganized! I got a tracking# and it said it was delivered July 11th to this shoppers, I went there 3 days later on the 14th and asked if they are there, as nobody notified me, but nobody knew about it and they sent me home! 1,5 hrs later they called me it’s ready for pick up now. And when I said to the women on the phone I was just there why could nobody gave it to me?, she got rude and said “thats not her problem”. I will never visit this store ever again.

Due to my condition I have to refill my prescriptions quit often. All the staffs have been really helpful and friendly. Except a person from pharmacy named "Raj"? Worst customer service ever. Called in to refill my needles. I said I need one for blood sugar monitor and one for injecting insulins. Before I never had any problems by saying this to other staffs, but she started giving me a lesson saying that I need to tell them the certain names otherwise no one knows what they are. I meant I only have 2 needles on my prescriptions and I am refilling both of them. smh. Also didnt even bother to let me finish whatever i was trying to explain to her.

The female East Indian cashier working evenings is extremely rude. I’ve come in several times and she doesn’t even say hello when you approach her to checkout, she just starts scanning the items. Doesn’t say anything but what the total is and rolls her eyes when you say you want a bag. Worst customer service ever…. If security is going to stalk someone the whole time they’re in the store.... make it less obvious. So uncomfortable. He was trailing behind me the whole time I was in the store. From the nail polish to the produce to chips, even looking at the Easter chocolate while I waited in line to pay. Security is there to make sure nothing gets stolen and so that the customers and employees feel safe. I felt like I would get tackled at any second- the exact opposite of what a security guard should do.

TWO different prescriptions filled incorrectly in THREE months. Save your time, money and energy and go somewhere else. I was literally given the wrong drug the second time, and it was a BATTLE to get it filled properly. I called the pharmacy when I got home and asked them to double check the prescription on file. They admitted it was wrong and said they had to check with my doctor and would call back. Never got a call back... Today I went to the pharmacy to ask for a refund for the wrong prescription. I was told that I had to tell them it was wrong the same day... but I called the pharmacy immediately? Now, I understand that this location is very busy. Maybe they are under-staffed. However, this seems pretty negligent and ridiculous that they won't refund a mistake that has been made.

Today the Pharmacy Owner…Vince, spoke with me because the hired pharmacists he hires are mostly people with heavy duty accents…today I phoned back as some pharmacist left me a voice Mail to phone as my prescription was not ready. This foreign speaking woman hung up on me. When I phoned back to speak with Vince, the Owner, he called me awful vicious names…And I could not get a word in whatsoever. I did call him back and mentioned that as a very ill 77 almost 78 year old female, a 4 Time Cancer Survivor, will not tolerate Verbal Abuse to an Elder, and if his horrible Staff ever calls me names and hangs up on me, because I cannot understand their heavy accent, I said I would report Him! When He bought the store from Bill…the lovely man (he always donated to the needy all items that were broken or opened, free )..,Vince takes off 10% and sells it! Some are broken junk! This store raised the prices, hires new mean unqualified people, unable to know nothing of their job. I have been a customer for over Twenty Years, and lately bed ridden…so not only have I had the wrong medication, they constantly argue with me, have no manners towards other Seniors…some shelves are empty, and I know about 7 wonderful People there, loyal, since before Bill took a great loss selling to Vince who changed everything. He never donates to the Community like Bill did, nor treats Seniors with Respect, dignity, he calls us Names…how terrible to have to be treated like that in our Wonderful community of Davie Village of Our City of Vancouver…where Lots of us have been born and raised! This is all truly accurate!

This stores always clean, organized, and today I couldn’t find a shampoo ???? but the lady stocking the shelves was knowledgeable she knew right away looked at the product and after consulting with a colleague knew it was a something they carried seasonally. My only thing I wish they would do different is carry my brand of shampoo “Every Man Jack” got it their at Christmas or shortly after. Amazing stuff. Thanks for remaining open and to the staff at this location. I can buy products anywhere i come to this store because of you. (Que cheesy music ????) but seriously.

As a customer who has shopped in this store for over 18 years I truly dislike shopping here now!! What happened to the cosmetics department? The staff that used to work there were so nice and friendly and helpful. The current staff in this department need to learn a thing or two about customer service. Not friendly, as a matter of fact can't even say hello!! I work in customer service and what I used to love about shopping here was that the staff recognized regular customers and treated them with kindness and respect. They would acknowledge my children and at the very least they would say hello and not act condescending or like they hate their job. Oh and on another note that hugely contributes to an overall horrible shopping experience. The supposed undercover shoppers!!! are you freaking kidding me!!! Great way to make regular paying customers feel like criminals. Don't you have security cameras in this day and age? I'm pretty sure you could observe from a camera and stop theives at the door, instead of belittling all other customers. I recently visited the shoppers on homer street and it was very pleasant I made a $60 purchase in the cosmetics department they were very nice and even sent me on my way with a little perfume sample. That is good customer service. Take a lesson from Homer st Davie st!!! I will do my best to take my buisness elsewhere.

Shoppers Drug Mart on Davie. It is totally unacceptable the way that managers in the Pharmacy area are dealing with urgently medication requests for patients in pain, and it is clear that something is being very poorly managed. Customer service simply no longer exists, the rudeness of employees towards the customers and lack of empathy and crisis management is regrettable. Employees now hang up the phone while the customer is still talking and requesting important information about medication, staff really don't care about safety or risk that delaying medication could cause to who needs immediate attention. It's a total disrespect. Higher general manager/CEO any thoughts? Let's provide feedback to your loyal customer? The system is collapsing and nobody takes any action? This is shameful! What happened with the excellent services we used to have at this location? Excellent customer service? Staff working with compassion, empathy and ready to serve with high levels of knowledge? I've heard from one of the managers today, if you're not happy, go find another pharmacy! Please?! Training over training to make that person capable to understand the BUSINESS! PLEASE AND THANK YOU! . That's an unfortunate!

Very disappointing phone experience with the beauty department just now. I always shop at this shoppers and am surprised they didn’t train this person staff to be even remotely decent. Called to check on stock of a face cream to be passed around to different people until someone picked up yelling at me for the product code- which I gave him - then put on hold for 5 minutes while he was checking. He answered and told me they only had one in stock but he couldn’t check if it was still there. When I asked why he couldn’t he freaked out on me and said there are other more important customers. I asked him to not yell at me for literally a simple inventory check to which he responded if I didn’t like it to bring it up with management. I completely understand someone having a bad day and the increased stress I’m sure they are under, but this guy needs to chill out. I hope they train their staff better because they’ve lost my business and will continue to do so with that type of rudeness. If they don’t want to do inventory checks that’s also fine just wish someone told me that at the beginning of this 15 minute phone call.

The pharmacist nor the pharm tech on that eve was taught how to enter insurance information properly. So even tho I have full coverage I had to pay all up front and get reimbursed they said. When you live pay check to pay check you can’t wait 6 months for insurance companies to reimburse you. The store is always very very very dirty. My least favourite shoppers drug marks. High prices for gross stuff and untrained staff.

I went into a clinic to get a flu shot nd they were running out on that. They suggested me that I might get it at the shoppers. Immediately I went to shoppers drug mart pharmacy for it nd something funny happened. The consultant told me that flu shot won't work on me cause Im already sick. It should be taken only when you're healthy! Nd told me to have patience. I was disappointed but smiled at her (like what an idiot situation that was) trying to find logic in what I just heard! Nd came back home without getting a proper consultation.

Was in town a few weeks ago and needed to get a prescription filled. Was in the area so decided to go in and see if the reviews about this place were true. And they were spot on. Aggressive, and lazy are 2 words to describe the pharmacy staff at this location. Couldn't pay me enough to fill a prescription here.Not only do they have the highest dispensing rates (Over $11) but the pharmacists and even the owner Vincent Yueng needs an attitude adjustment just like numerous other customers have stated. I find it highly inappropriate for the owner to aggressively argue with customers not only in front of other customers but his own staff. Which is what I witnessed when I was at this location. Not to difficult to see why the other pharmacists at this location have an attitude when the owner verbally accosts customers.

Wanted to buy simple drugs by prescription I've got in the "walk in clinic" next door. They told me wait a half an hour, but 50 minutes later nothing was ready so they told me that I have to wait again. American prices - Soviet service isn't something you would like to experience.

Had to fill my prescription at this location as the denman locations power went out and was extremely disappointed with the wait times as I had to come back 3 times because they kept telling me it would be done in 15-20 mins and took 3 hours only to find they miscounted the pills and refused to fill the remainder they owed me as they stated it was counted twice and signed off on. Granted they were extremely busy it doesn’t account for playing with someone’s health when it comes to medication. Go somewhere else if you are filling a prescription.

Dispensing fee of $11.60. Be careful to check your receipt!! The B.C. government will only reimburse up to $10 per prescription but this Shoppers location will charge you the full dispensing amount!!! Only reason I caught it was when I was trying to submit my expense to my health insurance and was trying to understand the costs of dispensing fees vs. the cost of the medication. I called in and spoke with a Michael from the Pharmacy who was not at all apologetic about what happened. Rather, he blamed the “new girl” as she was training. First of all, it were the new girl, clearly she does not have supportive co-workers and or adequate training (It was not even a girl who had helped me originally so way to go blame the “new girl”). Long story short he was rude and short with me - yet it was the staff Shoppers’ fault for overcharging. He was annoyed that I was calling in to complain/rectify the situation and basically made it feel like $11.60 was nothing. Oh! And proceeded to tell me that $3.00 was parking reimbursement so technically I was to only be reduced $8.60. At the end of it, he hung up abruptly. Overall, rude staff, terrible customer service, and high dispensing fees. I usually go to London drugs and I just happen to head to this Shoppers on the one off. Will never again visit this location and not because they have a higher dispensing fees, but simply was not treated right as a customer.

They refused to sell me needles for my testosterone injections without a prescription. I don't know if this is Shoppers Drug Mart policy Canada wide, but it didn't sit well with me at all, especially from somewhere providing service to a large percentage of queer customers. I've never encountered this anywhere else. Needles should be able to be bought without a prescription and no explanation should be needed.

the most inappropriate customer service practices i have ever seen in my life. Completely disgusted with the handling of the severely handicapped people stricken by poverty. They do not back their products that they sell and had expired hair products on the shelf that i purchased and didn't work then refused to replace it with another that wasn't expired. Also i was followed around the store and fairly embarrassed i have never stolen a thing in my life, also being a woman diagnosed with severe complex PTSD... being stalked like that was very damaging to my already anxiety in public issues.They seem to constantly inquire bout my legally registered service dog... there is someone keeping gate guard at the door. clearly he would check his registration before i entered. i dont need five others coming up and asking me over and over. For the record to all: Service Animals don't legally have to be wearing a vest stating that they are Service Animals and it is also illegal to ask what the condition is of the handler. The handler must have full control and the animal must not pose a safety risk or be a nuisance or destructive to property etc. Also my friend is legally blind but refuses to use a cane. people think he is drunk as he is constantly walking into things. the workers have yelled at him if he bumps into things and are rude and verbally voice their opinions that they dont believe him. he has a card issued by the CNIB proving that he has lost 80% of his site... Who is regulating these employees. Sorry but im absolutely disgusted by the conduct of various workers at this location. Also during this epidemic and being a place that is mainly visited by the very sick and elderly. they have no hand sanitizer at the door? LIKE WOW? Unbelievable!! NO Disposable masks or glove.... nothing to help keep customers safe.... Disgraceful and despicable. Head office needs to regulate and rectify this establishment. As a very long time customer of Shoppers and have spent an enormous amount of money in their stores I could not help but voice my experiences and hope that this be rectified.

Have had a bad experience, pretty much every time I've used this pharmacy. It's such a painful experience - from phoning to make sure a prescription is ready, then arriving only to find out it hasn't been started - then being told I will have to wait an hour. After I got upset they 'rushed' it, like they were doing me a favour Also on the advice of a doctor, went to the pharmacy to do a Consult of a medical device I needed to purchase. Called ahead again to make an appointment - to which I was told no need, just come in a pharmacist will be happy to help. When I showed up on Saturday, the counter person and pharmacist were both rude and unhelpful - telling me repeatedly I would need to pay for the device (which of course I would, or my benefits would) - which I found very insulting. Then the pharmacist only actual showed me how to use the device after I got upset - he actually told me to watch a YouTube video rather than do his job....ABSOLUTELY Terrible

I am a long time customer of the Davie st location and have gotten to know Bruce very well over the years! He is the farthest thing from racist!!! I am very disappointed that you would let such a good employee go. The staff at this location are constantly harassed and they just take it. Honestly I'm just appalled with this news. Worse service I have ever gotten from a pharmacy. I went to get the pharmacist to help me with feminine hygiene issues and she expect me to shout it out behind the counter and when I didn’t she came out insinuating that I might have other issues than what I am asking for when I clearly saw my gyno not even months ago and aware of what is going on in my body???? Mind you I was only asking for a product to help in the meantime that I go back to Quebec to see my doctor. Very insensitive from woman to woman. she really didn’t care to help and basically said to check it out with my doctor and kept talking about other things other than my concerns. No professional support was offered and Highly felt judged and shamed. I went on Amazon and find a product sold in her store for the exact problem I came for. Very incompetent !

A staff member here treated Indigenous people recently with grotesque racism, and physical violence. After a security guard followed young Indigenous people around the store, a staff member pushed them while they were walking out of the store, and ripped their masks off too. I am deeply disturbed, and will never visit this shoppers drug mart ever again. I encourage all others to do the same.

The store has paid parking lot. Theres huge sign at the parking meter saying 30min of parking will be reimbursed at the cashier. So i paid the parking fee and shopped. I asked the cashier about the parking reimbursement, she only refunded part of it. I asked why I didnt get full amount, and she told me tax doesn't get reimbursed. There is nowhere on the sign that says tax wont be reimbursed. Its misleading and disgusting lying to paying customers.

This place is a fantastic, well run, clean and organized place, the staff are helpful, professional, and a couple are funny as hell, also the pharmacists are super busy, and really on the ball, if you need to get a script filled, I highly recommend this place, they don't mess around, they have a never ending stream of people 24 hours a day, but they keep the line moving, fast and friendly! The store gets a 3 The pharmacy gets a - 4. They are slow and it's never ready ontime even though I usually give them a 24 time for refills. There are two good people at the pharmacy the others no. The store has some of everything. Their new point system lost 10500 of my points in the transfer and customer service was stunned and clueless. Revised my rating. Revised December 3.The people at the pharmacy are brain damaged. Take your business elsewhere it will save the hassle of fighting with stupid people

Horrible experience dealing with this pharmacy. When I gave them my prescriptions, they did not let me know I needed to pay in advance for some special order medicine so that I had to come back another time just to pay for it otherwise they wouldn't order for me. Secondly they reduced my dose of one medicine without notifying my doctor so that when I refilled my presciption they told me my refill quanity were all gone even though they found their mistake on the original copy of my prescription would not change their computer records. As a result I had to visit my family doctor again to give me another prescription. Lastly when I decided to visit Costco pharmacy instead of them to transfer my prescription and refill, they told Costco that all my refills were gone and they could not find the original copy of my prescription. Therefore I have to visit my doctor the third time just for a simple refill...

I went to this location a couple of days ago. As soon as I walked in I was followed by a tall man in a grey jump suit (obviously security). It made me feel very uncomfortable. There was no justification for this behaviour as I am a regular customer, well dressed and also a senior. I will never frequent this location again. I spent a fortune at this store and this is how they appreciate my business.

Very friendly staff, great prices on a perfumes. The customers are arguing with cashiers about the prices like that's their fault that something cost more than in the other stores. Some costumers should turn their logical thinking, because that's mostly a pharmacy not a supermarket. Too many junkies and thieves they should have been banned from all the stores in Canada.

Would urgently warn Deaf people and other people with impaired means of communications to avoid this location, especially for pharmaceutical reasons. There are staff at that pharmacy who facilitated the collapse of communication and subsequently banned me from the premises because I was distraught trying to communicate for my medication.

The pharmacy department is unbelievable. Called in my perscription to be filled they tell me it will be about a 2 hour wait so I agree. I arrive and - not yet filled. So they tell me they can have it filled in 5 mins. WOW! Earlier I had to wait 2 hours. Then they tell me their system is down. The SYSTEM IS ALWAYS DOWN at this location. Meds I NEED to live will now cost me $95.00 due to their system being down instead of my usual $14.00 I am sure that if you were able to look my profile up you also know how much you charge me. This location is horrible greedy cash cows Hopefully this never happens to you and your loved ones.

I was in their pharmacy last night to have a refill on my lost painkiller. The guy there asked me a new prescription, just because it was too early to have a refill on it and he promised to fax my old prescription to my family doctor's office to get her authorization for a refill. Sounds fair, no argue about it. So, I walk to St. Paul EMRG to get a prescription, and the doctor gave me 10 tablet till I see my family doctor. Sounds good. I ran back to the pharmacy and dropped off my prescription and waited 15mins to have my medicine. After 15 minuet waiting the same guy came to pick up disk to serve me. And he said I called to the doctor you've seen in hospital to give you 4 pill instead of 10 and he agreed. There you go $16.**. I asked him why he did call him, the answer was because it's too early to have this medic, wait wait, excuse me??? Who the hell are you??? I've talked to the doctor and told him the whole story that what happened and he agreed and then you...??? So, this morning I went to my family doctor's office and guess what? She called in sick and there was NO request faxed to them for an early refill authorization. It's ridicules when a pharmacy guy put himself between the doctor and patient and act sneaky. I HATE THE GUY AND THE PHARMACY...

I would not recommend this pharmacy to anybody who is trans or gnc. I was loudly misgendered by multiple staff more than once in front of other customers. I am a trans woman and explicitly corrected both staff who misgendered me. Neither of them apologized or corrected themselves. I left the store feeling really upset and asked my partner to call and complain on my behalf. The supervisor on shift who spoke to my partner also misgendered me even after my partner said I was a trans woman multiple times. He stated that staff "call it like they see it" implying that I do not look like a woman. My partner insisted that this experience warrants an apology but he would not offer one. He was adamant that his staff just gender people however they would like. My partner suggested that they offer some sort of sensitivity training as many queer and trans people attend this pharmacy due to its location on Davie street as well as it's close proximity to Three Bridges where many of us access TransCare. I will not be returning here and will be letting other trans people know not to either. I believe the staff here are ignorant to the ways in which accessing health care is difficult for trans women and do not care about correcting this and making their pharmacy safer for us. It is not that hard not to sir or ma'am somebody. It's 2020.
