Good location with the town's largest mall, liquor store and Canadian Tire. It's a full service outlet with deli, butcher, produce and a large bulk food department. The floral offerings are limited but I really like the pharmacy.

Medium sized save-on with a good selection of products. Items are very rarely out of stock. The cashiers can be a little slow during peak times but all of the employees will go above and beyond if you ask them for help.

For health reasons, we only do our shopping on line and have been getting our groceries delivered to our doorstep at least once a week, and to our complete satisfaction. Lately, however, there have been regular errors in our orders, like wrong/smaller size pack delivered, but charged price of larger pack. We complained. Managers Alwin (?) and Dan immediately investigated and efficiently rectified the problems and gave us due cash credits, and even followed up to ensure we were completely happy and satisfied! Wonderful. Well done, Save-On-Foods. Guess what..? -We're very happily locked in to you as confident and impressed customers...!

Save on foods recent colour scheme change on the UI of the self checkout kiosks is a horror for anyone with colour perception issues. White on lime green is an intelligent design fail for software systems. That is my only problem with it.

I always have a great experience when I deal with their pharmacy staff. They are knowledgeable, they make sure that I understand how to take my meds, and why. I went in on Tuesday, and I realized that I would be taking up time to get a 2nd shot for a non-Covid shot from people that wanted to get their 1st one. I asked if I could put it off for a while, and was told that I could wait for my booster shot until I get my 2nd COVID-19 shot in July. And that felt good, because I want to see everyone who wants to be vaccinated, get vaccinated.

BE AWARE AT THE PHARMACY. My mother gets her monthly injection pen medicine from the store and noticed the injection pen is defected. The content has a large air bubble inside. She wanted to return it but was told by the pharmacy manager that it is okay to use and also took out several other packs (for other patients) to show that they are all the same. My mother was smart to not use it but called the pharmaceutical company instead. The manufacturer confirmed that it should have been returned to the pharmacy. I want to add that the pharmacy manager is in NO position to give such advise when he does not have the knowledge. All the patients were trained to use this particular treatment and it is very upsetting to see a manager not doing his duty as a gatekeeper. I feel sorry for other patients and I hope that they are safe.

I had a frustrating trip to the store where I couldn’t find anything. Yes, I'm a grown man, and the store is clean and tidy, but the layout should be more intuitive! I spent far too long looking for peanut butter, and gave up and went home. Later I found out it's in the bakery section, so yeah, that's on you Save-On-Foods. Move your peanut butter to an aisle with the other "Spreads".

I have always felt this Save On to be consistently clean, well stocked and easy to shop at. This location sells BC wine so if you're running late, you can grab your groceries, wine and flowers here. The produce is slightly more than some other stores but it provides a nice shopping experience and parking is good. This complex has a TD bank and Starbucks. There are other shops as well but I don't remember their names. There are self check out stations as well as traditional cashier stations. I always prefer a cashier station myself. There is a decent selection for seafood, meats and poultry. They carry different offerings for dairy, Fairlife ultra filtered milk, Dairyland, Olympic, Oikos, Liberte... Off peak hours shopping is the best time to shop.

So I went to grab a turkey cranberry sandwich from the cooler , but there weren’t any. They had some in the deli section so I asked “Elena” for one. She motioned with her hand towards the self serve cooler, “why you not get one over there”? I said there are none, “why am I bothering you”? She now motioned again with her hand at the empty spaces that she was working at filling and said “yes”! I said are you kidding me and walked away, without the sandwich. Unbelievable. Awesome place to go to. Cheap pricing compared to Whole Friggn Foods. The only downside is these homeless people who enter the store and like to rep the west side thinking they gangstaz. They always ask for change. I give them Tic Tacs. I also dont like how the store discriminates against the elderly. How? There's only a handful of handicapped spots. I mean, I feel for those who need to park close. Show some courtesy ya schmucks!

Not shopping at this store anymore. Covid19 safety measures seem to only exist at the checkout. Starts at the door. No one cleaning carts and no wipes to do it yourself. Staff including the deli staff are not wearing masks. Staff stand close together talking - in pairs and groups - no social distancing. They even had a olive bar - self serve - open. Went to self serve checkout - which I have to say has more problems than any other system I have used - and when the woman who was staffing the self serve asked me to step away while she fixed something I mentioned that she was the only one showing awareness of the need to distance - a good thing - and then I said I felt unsafe in the store because other staff were not.She walked away and said go shop at Walmart then. Niice.

Great supermarket that now caries local wine. In bc this is a great start . Also in the back there is a discount section with gifts , decor and books . You can always find a great deal there . I decorated one room from the summer decor and really did some fab designs and each piece cost only 5 to 15 bucks. Super here at and really inexpensive . This is also close to Starbucks if you want a break after shopping

I love Save-On. Always have everything I need (except Diet Snapple recently, which is a huge bummer) and this store is fairly easy to navigate. Parking is always good too. The reward system is a huge plus if you're wanting to save cash on some basic weekly foods, especially when they put the giant box of chicken breasts on sale (normally $35, usually on sale for $26). Gotta feed my muscles, ya know.

First time there in a while. I found it s bit awkward with each isle split in 2. It made finding items harder than other store. That said, seem to more than one location for the same type of item - all at different price points. For example, needed a can opener. I had to ask, and was directed to a certain section ; 23.99; then I discovered another one for 6.99, only to find yet another for 4.99. Granted they are of different quality, would be nice to have had them all in one place. Same thing with the bacon. It is half way across the store from the meat department. Very confusing, last I checked bacon is always part of the meat department. That said, some great deals if you shop carefully. Very helpful and courteous.

My usual late night grocery shopping spot. Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Nori at the deli department who offered me a taste of their new natural preservative-free cold cuts. Nori was so knowledgeable and helpful. She patiently helped me sample a variety of the meats and we had a great conversation. If it wasn't for her impeccable customer service skills I would not have given the 5th star as I shop late night and no one has any energy left to "serve you right". I so appreciated her enthusiasm and energy. And not to forget, really enjoying the new line of Save-On's natural preservative-free cold cuts - I personally like the smoked chicken and turkey best but the rosemary ham was really good too (a lot saltier than the poultry variety). This is a very organized and clean store.

I had the worst kinda experience in this place today I’ve asked the lady in customer service for a mask for a customer who was at the door and forgot his masks ( I had my own masks on) The lady’s behaviour was far from respect or not even normal Even after she saw the mask-less man she didn’t bother herself to say sorry I treated you like a “free mask grabber…”

This is definitely my least favorite Save On in North Van. People working in the deli are wearing their masks under their chins. What exactly is the point of that? The lineups for checkout are quite long. Much prefer the Save On by Cap Mall or Brooksbank.

Huge Store, but doesn't have any updated feel to it. It feels completely dated. The hours are good, closing at midnight. But the store itself lacks pizzazz.

Some pretty blatant bait & switch practices going on here while they take advantage of the pandemic. This has been a regular occurrence during my visits over the past few months. Items go on sale but haven’t been in stock for weeks, luring you into the store only to have to purchase an alternative product at full price. It’s outright fraudulent to offer items for a discount that you know you won’t have in stock to steer people toward more expensive things. I could have taken dozens more photos of bare ‘sale item’ shelves. If I could give zero stars I would. All this while running ads about how “We all have to pull together” - Thia corporation is talking out both sides of its mouth.

Being renovated. Somebody chose a horrible green floor tile. The reflected green light makes all the product labels look bad. A less than stellar choice of colour unless they are trying to drive customers away so they can close the store. Makes for a poor shopping experience.
