Would rate 3.5. Rooms have nice floor plans and the staff is wonderful but the hotel needs a renovation its very clear that much of the furnishings are quite old but good pricing for the location

Francis Bangayan

Welcoming staff and clean rooms. All the amenities needed in a city centre hotel however a bit noisy at night from the sounds outside in the street.

Meagan Cade

The staff here are great. Rooms are clean, and good enough. Only complaint is that there aren’t any mini fridges, but the staff kept my stuff downstairs for me in their fridge. Considering the price of a night here, I’m pretty satisfied.

James Hare

Went there to pick up a friend. Staff was understanding but the clientele the hotel attracts are very young and immature. The hotel itself seemed okay

Arnaud Guanco

The room was really small and it only has the bare minimum

carl klumpenhower

Location was perfect

B B

Rooms are alright, staff can learn a thing or two about customer service though

Steve Vatkov

It was the cheapest hotel room for 6 we could find. We got what we paid for. You can hear clubs whomping all night, the beds are reasonably comfortable and clean.

Meherab Bhamgara

The staff were mostly nice, including the manager who was very helpful with our bags. The lobby and hallways smelled awful. The room was what you would expect downtown. It was quite small, bugs on the ceiling, and loud. The bathroom was the most disappointing. I did not want to use the shower as it was turning a yellowy colour on the walls and showerhead. Just don't expect much. Coming from other Ramada's I was expecting a slightly higher standard, but it was what it was. I won't be staying there again.

One of the worst places I have ever entered. Me, my wife and our two toddlers booked with them a day before our arrival. We arrived at the hotel around 11:30 pm ( June 7, 2016) and the older person who was at the reception told us they don't have our room, with a very smeared smile on his face. When I asked why, he said my pavement didn't go through. But my card was charged. He made me feel like I'm a minority with two other comments he made, which I would like to forget. I felt disgusted with his attitude and remarks he made. He said "find a another place and good luck with that". . I was so angry, I called another hotel in front of the receptionist and got a booking. My daughter asked me why he is talking like that. To concealed the idea of racism to her, I told that different people is what make the society beautiful If your skin is not light color please think twice before you stay at this place. They have a 2 star review on Yelp for a reason. I should have consider it before I made my reservation. This is my first ever visit to Vancouver Canada as a U.S. Citizen and I was disgusted by the fact that people who should be operate at their fullest at customer service " a receptionist " comment/ show attitude of racism. I thought racism is just a word until I experienced it. Shame on the receptionist and the management who place these type of people as receptionists. I cannot ask anyone to stay away from this place since it's their choice if they decide to stay. But I want others to know how I first experienced Canada and how this first impression left a permanent black mark on my mind regarding the place ( Ramada Hotel). I do not judge every person of the country based on one incident. But this is how I experienced Canada on the first day of my tour. For the upper management of Hotel Ramada: I believe there's good in every person/ thing. But there is a saying "it's easier to train a child than change an adult." So think twice, who you want hire to represent your hotel as the receptionist.

Devin Sixt

From the moment I arrive at this hotel, I already received a bad service. I had two large baggage and 3 other small bags. I had to haul all the bags from out of the uber, onto the hotel trolley, and up to my room, all on my own. No hotel staff offered to help me at all. When checking out, I asked for staff to bring my bags downstairs and the receptionist said that there's only one staff currently working for the whole hotel! So no one can help me. So I had to bring all my bags down to the hall again. Unbelievable. The bathroom is dirty. The bathtub is absolutely clogged! The water in the bathtub cannot be drained at all. I find a long nasty fingernail on the bed under the sheets. Bad customer service and dirty. Avoid staying at this hotel.

Robin Massey

Great place for poutine just around the corner from the hotel, no breakfast in the hotel but nice coffee shop in front of it right close to good restaurants and nightclubs,

joe christie

Do not stay here. Right above a nightclub. My bed had bedbugs! Then they were not going to refund us; in the end through our Expedia rep they did. Never again.

Jordan Moore

Poor service, no breakfast (chef didn't show up), chair in room was broken, photo is of replacement chair. Nice stain.

We checked-in on Sunday Aug 22nd in room 214 for 1 night and really disappointed with the condition of the hotel,. First of all, as we enter the lobby, there is so much smell of old woods, as if the building is 400-500 yrs old, room is also smelted like its closed since ages & washroom has urine smell, no fridge or microwave and coffee makes is one of the cheapest one, like you can get it for $10 from Walmart, Overall I think this is not for families or with kids to stay here,. My advise is to add $20-$30 more in your budget and stay in a branded nice hotel (then we stayed 4 nights in Sheraton Calgary Downtown which is just $20 more than this Ramada per night charges). This is our true experience and very negative about this Ramada Vancouver Downtown Hotel.

This hotel is not up to Ramada standards, I can't believe they can keep the name. Rooms are extremely outdated and the air conditioning does not work at all. Shower heads look like they were installed 30 years ago and never cleaned. Only cable available on tv, no digital services available. Please update your rooms to match Ramada standards or remove the name.

Booking over the phone, very rude. Went in and the staff apologized immensely! Very helpful, the room was immaculate. Had a wonderful sleep. I'll definitely stay here again! 6 stars

R Morgan

After spending nearly $400 for 2 nights, creaky floors, rude staff & stained sheets are not what you expect. Not to mention the vending machines that supply warm pop and melted chocolate. Will n o t be staying again.

Michelle Maris

Stayed on a Saturday night. Nightclub downstairs was clearly audible in my 4th floor room until 3AM. Tap water randomly fluctuated between freezing and scalding. Sofa was stained and worn to the point of being pointless to sit on. The valet moved my seat and mirrors and changed several controls when he moved it at some point in the night without so much as attempting to put them back, making it physically impossible to get behind the wheel when I went to leave in the morning. But, on the upside, the front desk staff were nice enough.

Elloraine Poingue

Extremely dissatisfied. We have been here for almost a week, will be here for another 3 days. The room is dirty, things are not good. Our cable box is fried, and the staff at the front desk has not been helpful in the slightest. The exact quote was "I don't know when we can fix it. I will try to do you a favor later." First off-- it's not a favor, it's solving an issue that we are paying for. Second of all, you'd think that the fact we are spending almost $1000 here this weekend (not including meals at the restaurant), they'd try to solve the problems. I've stayed at Ramada hotels all across cabada on many occasions, and they have been high end, very incredible facilities. This one is an absolute dive, and definitely does not fit the standards of what a Ramada should be.

First of all, the boarded door at the entrance makes a terrible impression. Then there is paid parking (which they didn`t inform at the reservation time). This will add $26 per day on your bill. Elevators are very old (I am talking 80s here), outdated and slow. On the first 2 days I was there the elevator`s floor were dirty. Carpets had stains and dirt everywhere. The room itself had a badly working A/C that I had to keep turned on at the max to try to dry the air and reduce the humidity. Bathroom was terrible. Filthy smell, outdated, bathtub that didn`t drain the water properly and worn out and shower without pressure. Location is fine, but that is it. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Terrible place and Air Canada should be ashamed of listing it as part of their hotel packages.

I had a terrible experience staying at this “hotel”. The neighbourhood is disgusting and packed full of homeless people. The hotel lobby entrance was half covered with plywood. The room felt grimy and was the size of a shoebox. The guest parking lot filled up on the weekend, so I had to park around the corner and my vehicle window got smashed and some things were stolen. Overall I do not recommend staying here or within any nearby blocks.

Sina Rostam

Very small room. No service. They did not had coffee at all in room Pathetic staff. All interns. Paid 24000 rs. Around 400 dollars for this bad choice. Noisy neighborhood

tharcilatecchio

I would specifically want to mention that the missing 3 stars are for the management because the place completely needs a revamp, it smelled funny, the parking place was filled with junkies and it wasn't very safe to keep the car there. The only reason I'm even giving 2 stars is because of the employees and their service, as the room was cleaned up and made every single day by the time we were back and all the belongings in the room were safe as well.

Nick Maddox

Excellent location. Very small room, i stayed as single occupancy and it was just manageable. No buffet breakfast. Fixed menu served on table. Take it if booking at last minute and other nearby property are booked.

Bailey Turner

Very happy with our stay here! They were helpful and flexible while booking the room and very friendly staff upon arrival! The room was clean and comfortable and we would 100% recommend to anyone. 5 stars without a doubt!

Matthew Costin

It was a great place to stay overnight and it has a very good location. The service was great and friendly. A bit of noises on the weekends since the club is under the hotel.

MOHAMMED SADIK TAILOR

Room has a very limited space. So if you brought in four of your 50lbs luggage and stayed longer than 3 days. Maybe, you should think of staying somewhere. Vanity room is too small for comfort. Price is competitive compared to the rooms that cannot compete with the rests.

For the price we paid per night, I was not expecting to be impressed and sort of expecting something to be off with the room, but on the contrary, the room itself was quite clean and spacious. The hotel is also situated in a very convenient place, as it's within walking distance to a lot of attractions, and easy to bus to and from. The lobby and hallways aren't as clean and inviting as the rooms themselves, but that is to be expected downtown. Something unexpected was that presumably a hotel employee walked into our room on one of the nights without us having requested service.

Trista Gartner

Pros: - close to nightlife - inexpensive - lots of parking Cons: - rooms very small - walls paper thin. We could hear the neighbours when they were talking at a normal volume - toilet leaked (not clean water) leaving puddle in front of it after each flush - staff didn't care to ask about how our stay was - when toilet problems explained, they were unapologetic and said they'd try to have someone look at it - no compensation for problems. Other hotels have discounted room for fewer problems - valet seemed to have kept our car in the insecure aboveground lot after saying 3 times that they'd move it underground (although it may be coinsidence that it was left for us in the same spot we originally parked in and parked just as off-center) Conclusion: I'd spend the extra few bucks to stay at The Burrard a few blocks away. No problems there.

Siddhant Saigal

very nice location, but it is nottttttt clean at all! the rooms are very small!!

Ian Barr

The staff is excellent and they do their job well. The building itself, that's a different story. The bed sheets had stains on them when I first checked in, the hallways smelled of urine, and my door wouldn't shut properly to name a few of the things. Staff took it in stride and was pleasant and understanding when dealing with my issues

R Scott

Clean and quiet. But staff seemed a bit confused and frazzled both when I checked in and out. I thought it was a bit expensive, especially given the small room. As an older (but renovated) downtown hotel, it's small. Small room with "queen sized bed," small elevator, small lobby (crowded with luggage).

Earlene Varner

This place is not for families. Never stay at this location if you are travelling with your loved ones. Some staff members are even rude. Rooms are not suitable for a family.

So upset to travel all day to downtown Vancouver to go to the coroner tmrw as my brother just passed. Spent $150 to stay in a room that is still shaking cause the music is so loud at 2am in the morning on a sunday. very poor sound proofing, don't stay here unless you're partying and not expecting to sleep.

Erica Guillen

We got a square room with a king size bed. That left about 4 feet from the edge of the bed to the wall on all three sides. The bed hindered access to the closet. I was woken up early every morning to the sound of garbage pick up out back. The mattress was not as comfortable as I tried to sleep past the garbage pick up noise and I ended getting up at 7am. The bathroom was a good size, bright and CLEAN!!!! What a difference that can make. Parking is at the side, $18.00 per day and they move your car to underground at night. There are plenty of homeless in the area asking for change and one had followed my us to the car and was persistent asking for change which I said repeatedly said no. Lesson learned, do not stand by your vehicle rejecting requests for money as someone snotted the gas cap while it was parked from 4pm to 5:30pm. Good staff, must point out Mrs. “S” at the counter for being very nice and cheerful. Full points for her as I observed her cheerfulness dealing with other customers and talking with co-workers while I was sitting at the front area.

Scott Hudson

Great location, unless you're relying on the Skytrain. Can be a bit loud on the weekends due to the club below but not too bad. Rooms are about average but very clean and the staff do a great job of making sure you enjoy your stay. They've provided me valet parking for my car and provided me with things that I've forgotten (bags, chargers, etc.).

Jesse Ferguson

Hotel is very unsafe- homeless drug addicts shooting up on the way in. Apparently this is a consistent complaint if you read other reviews for this location. I¿m a 25 year old woman, was arriving at midnight and felt so unsafe that I didn¿t end up s

Jen Djuracic

Friendly staff, clean hotel & room. My biggest issues were how hot the lobby and hallways were. (Thank goodness there was an air conditioner in the room.) The room was also very small for what we had to pay. And the bathroom fan was SUPER loud. We were attending a concert at Rogers arena and it was only a 20 minute walk, so that was good. (Don't walk back alone though, it's pretty rough after dark.)

Smail

Great location downtown Vancouver. Friendly staff. The building and rooms are dated but comfortable. Missing shampoo. Water wouldn't get hot.

Jocelyn Cheung

Room is good for the price. Duty manager was kinda rude during communication. Breakfast was good, but they should have a better communication with the restaurant regarding vouchers for hotel guests. They took our vouchers and later gave us a bill; had to explain the situation to the restaurant waiter.

Duncan Dempster

Room was OK but pricy for the money. Breakfast never happened, waiter seemed nice but never served me eventually taking care of customers who arrived later. Could be improved.

This hotel hosts some of the unfriendliest most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. They were downright rude, they refused to give me my deposit back because I was expected to pay $25/towel for 3 towels, yes you read that right, they wanted to charge me $75 for 3 towels because when getting out of the shower my self tanning solution turned one of them kind of pink, which washes out in the wash, and if they are sanitizing properly should have been bleached anyway. Then they proceeded to tell me there was makeup all over them and they can’t be reused. They wouldnt let me check out until they checked my room, so that right there shows me they were fishing for any reason to charge me more money, this tiny room that stunk like mold and was barley big enough for 2 people ended up costing me $360… Honestly, do not stay here, the manager, the staff the cleanliness, the extra charges, no pool, no breakfast, it isn’t worth the money at all.

Peter F

Hotel Manager, blonde foreign one needs to come to terms with the fact that the hotel is on Granville and it’s gonna be noisy. Don’t want to deal with nightlife? Don’t stay on the busiest street on the weekends simple as that. Get a real job honey.

Kristen Dee

Well the management was super nice, however I was scared for my life. I read the reviews whilst sleeping in the hotel bed and I thought that would be my last sleep ever. Kinda reminds me of the Cecil hotel. Also our car got damaged while there but not a huge deal at least I survived

Cloudy Low

I will say, the hotel itself is old and smells a bit off, but that being said it wouldn’t change me going back again. I would 100 percent return due to how incredible the staff was. I was extremely comfortable and they are very caring. 10/10 for spectacular customer service.

Jesse Peters

Worst hotel ever! We were there just for one night, it was terrible! Don’t recommend this hotel at all! It wasn’t even clean and making breakfast just for 2 guests took them for ever! Staffs are so basic and unprofessional. No even close to the room picture. It was like old motels.

Suzy Fekete

Overall a great place. Decently clean, though it is very obvious the place is very old. Things in the hotel are well used, but clean none the less. Staff are lovely and well informed of the area. VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE!! there are 3 night clubs surrounding it, although it is not the hotels fault, it should be warned that on Friday and Saturday nights it gets really loud. We were given a quieter room, but you can still hear it. Recommended to request a quiet room if this concerns you.

Jainif Marediya

Room is great. It's an adequate size.they have a functioning elevator and stairs. So if you complain about a working elevator then go ahead and knock yourself out on the stairs Chubby! Bed is comfortable. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is good. The room warms up quickly in the winter. The parking is $18 a night and for me it is great since I can walk to where I need to go while visiting the city. If you cant walk distances then there's a bus stop right out the front door. If you must drive then you will have an additional parking cost down the road. If you complain about this place then its your fault for not spending more money for a 5 star hotel. You get what you pay for you cheap/whiny bastards.

The Ramada is in a WONDERFUL spot for experiencing Vancouver's nightlife and is less than a ten minute walk from the transit stop which can take you all the way to the airport. You're spoiled for choice if you're looking for things to do. The drawback is that the walls are thin to the point that you can easily hear a normal-volume conversation in a neighbouring room. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and I don't blame them in the slightest, but if you're a light sleeper you're not going to be well-rested. So if you're here for the night life and you're a heavy sleeper, I highly recommend this location. Though I'm not a light sleeper, the building is noisy enough that I probably won't be back.

court and al

The room was very tiny and falling apart. There was no view, except right into another person's window. You could hear everything thru the walls. Wouldn't stay here again.

Leong Tan

Hotel was clean and we felt secure. Suggest reseach on how to get to parking lot view on google earth

Lindsay F

Absolutely horrible. I tried to book online, their system failed and I had to call up. There agent receiving the call locked me in for the wrong dates and price. I asked at check in what the price was, the guy said "whatever you agreed to on the phone" but didn't tell me. I checked into the room, which was small and stinky. My credit card company texted me and alerted me to the charge... TWICE what I had agreed to. They refused to correct it, saying "the system doesn't allow them to do anything about it". I cancelled and gladly took my business elsewhere.

Unfortunatly my stay wasnt good at all. We stayed in vancouver on grandville. After parking we walked in and had to wait for the personal to finish a privat coservation..after about 15 min we had our key and where ready to go up to the room..sadly we opend the door and there was a pair of old gentalmen on the bed watching tv relaxing, but we didnt know them haha they where just as surprised at us as we where at them. Still laughing we went back down and told them about the mistake..after about 25min and the personal getting mad at each other we finaly got our key. The rest of the stay was ok our room was right above a night club but that didnt bother us. We got home after our trip and i noticed i forgot my luxury watch in the room, this is where my acuall bad experience starts,i called them and had a unmotivadet young men on the other line,he sad hello ramada on grandville and i sad my bame and problem, just to find out that he had a second conversation that seamed to be funny because i wasnt payed any attention to. After a moment of listing talk in a different language he welcomed me again and i again explained what was wrong. We tryed finding my booking but couldnt find it even though i had my booking number, roomnumber i stayed in,name and any other info he ask for he still could help me without the booking he sad. Next he put me on a 20min hold and welcomed me a third time with hello ramada on gratville, confused i told him my name again. He answered me surprised that i was still waiting on the line, told me to call in the morning when the cleaning personal is in and that he has no way of helping me. I ask for his supervisor but he wasnt available.his name was chris last name he did not wanna give me. Unfortunatly noone has seen the watch or has ever called me back. I am very sad about this poor service and my material lost. Thanks.

Terrible experience. Room was smelly, carpet was dirty. Was promised a pool and breakfast but it doesn't exist. Was told that it would be loud next door because there's a club beside it, but was offered no apology or anything, just "yeah it's loud." The shower head looked like it was ready to fall off. The elevators were outdated and creaky. Walls are thin, could hear people at all hours of the day. Never stayed at a Ramada that was so terrible. Not like the photos at all, would stay elsewhere unless you get a great deal.

Katlynn Elmes

This hotel is next door to a night club. Did not know this when booked. One would expect a night club to be loud, but you could literally feel the floors vibrating on the 4th floor from the base. The club does not close down until 3 am and there are a number of inebriated club age young adults to be found immediately outside the hotel. Avoid this for weekend stays unless you plan on being in the club yourself.

The management here is terrible. We were charged a breakfast fee when we never had breakfast at the hotel and were never told it was even offered. We were charged $45 for two days of parking when the website indicated it was free and we were never told there was a charge. The room we stayed at was tiny, loud and the whole building just looks like it's going to fall apart. We are never staying here again.

The worst customer service ever. Upon check out, they forced a 40$ "damage" charge for old stains on the mattress sheets that were clearly not ours. Second time staying here and always a bad experience. Won't be coming back.

Tiny rooms, bad atmosphere, weird smells, no fridge, no amenities, sketchy area...something you'd expect from a $150 motel or hostel but at the $300 brand name price. Stay somewhere else!!

Summer L

The hotel is fine for a few nights, nothing special, everything worked as it should. Beds were ok, a bit soft for my taste. The room was clean and the people working there were very friendly and helpful.

Andrew Cordeiro

I am only giving it one star because I couldn't give no stars. Tiny room, gross bathroom, $340 dollars after all the taxes were added. Our view is a rusting staircase in an alley. This is a $60 hotel room parading as something worth maybe $75. Hugely disappointed. We will never come back and I will never ever recommend this hotel. Spare yourself the disappointment and stay at a hostel.

Katelyn Rosteski

TLDR: Worst hotel experience ever. False advertising for the rooms. Will not respond to emails. DO NOT STAY HERE. I purchased 2 sets of rooms for 3 nights and both were nothing like the pictures they took online. It was clearly false advertising and the room quality was horrendous. One of my guests could not stay in the room because it smelled terrible and he didn't want his family to stay in such terrible accomodations. He moved out the first morning and I have been trying to get a refund for the remaining two nights for false advertising. The hotel said they cannot refund me since the power was with my travel agency. They said if the travel agency wanted to refund it, they could do it in full. I contacted the travel agency and asked for a refund. They contacted the hotel, and after much back in forth, were only able to get a 50% refund. I asked the travel agency why only half? They said if the hotel agrees to 100% then the agency can give me 100%. I have been emailing the hotel manager, staff, anyone and have not gotten a single reply back. So much for their false promise. The location is also terrible, as there are homeless people everywhere and usually camp outside the hotel. You're better off staying in an Airbnb that is cheaper and provide much better customer service.

Hina Durvesh

great location. the building is older and it shows inside...used a door I thought was an exit and it opened to a room that has been sealed up, no exit!~ that was pretty weird. but the bed was great and the bathroom was fine. wifi worked OH there is a nightclub right underneath this hotel...I was on the 3rd floor and could hear house beats pretty clearly

Jordan Wiseman

I was very disappointed by the unfriendliness at check-in. A security deposit of 100 dollars was debited from my account and I still haven't got it back !!!!!!! I'm pissed !!! The room was not clean (cobwebs on the sockets near the air conditioner) etc.

sassygal3

What they very lightly hint at the front desk is that your rooms will be right over a night club. Around 10 pm to 2 am the night clubs music and bass will make it impossible to sleep for any normal person. The room and windows vibrated and if you used the bathroom you could clearly hear even the words to the music. Booked for the weekend and checking out early! Wonderful city bad hotel. Side note there is a very high vagrant community that stay around the area, we unfortunately saw a man defecate in the alley behind the hotel (the only way to their parking area) and then proceed to walk around with his pants at his knees. Not the hotels fault but just gives you a sense of the area.

Tariq Hack

Bed sheets were dirty. We asked for a room change, which they accommodated, however the new room had literal mold stains on the sheets.

Kevin Mendelsohn

There was nobody at the front desk when I arrived to check in. Have to wait for at least 10mins before the front desk agent showed up. There was a tiny cockroach on the bed. Good location though as there were lots of bus routes along the road.

Service was good. The rooms and building smell. Next to bars and clubs so if you want to sleep this isn't for you. Washroom makes weird sounds.

Janet Hohner

When I checked in the staff working the front desk were friendly and helpful. That was the only time the staff were friendly towards me. I called ahead to ask if there was parking for over sized vehicles (I drive a utility van for work). The person who answered the phone said I could park outside and then hung up on me. The rooms were small and outdated, but that wasn’t a big deal for me as I was just in the city for a couple nights because I was working close by. The paper thin walls was the biggest problem. The night club next door was so loud I could hear it plain as day on the 4th floor and couldn’t sleep. Then the following night the guests in the room next to mine threw a party. I called the front desk at 12:30am to complain and they didn’t say whether they would do anything or not (they didn’t) and didn’t really seem to care. They just apologized and hung up. The restaurant attached to the hotel (the Morrissey) has a breakfast deal for hotel guests but it still wasn’t worth it. Their food sucks. Undercooked eggs, toast without butter, burnt bacon, no condiments offered to me by wait staff, had to ask twice for a refill on my coffee. Just walk somewhere else and pay full price for a better meal. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. Lots of stuff within walking distance. But there are other hotels in the area and when I come back here in the future I’ll be staying at one of those.

Very loud club music until well after 3 in the morning. Rooms were old, small, and creaky. And the lady at the front desk was short with the guests and not very knowledgeable. I would not stay here again

There is no 0 Start so I have to give it a 1 star to be able to write the review. Please be advise with this hotel. Very Very unprofessional and I wish I could say Rude. Specially the way the manager, CAREANN. We got a death threat right before we open our room, ROOM 509 ( Please see the Photo ). The Note we found at 10:25PM Yes this could have been a note from a Sick Mind, possible a joke to to someone with mental disorder. Yes, who would write a death threat on a piece of note pad supplied by the Hotel. But in today's world, even a 1/billion chance, we could not ignore it. we called 911 and officers responded. we explained and they helped us clearing our room. Thanks VPD for helping us grabbing our belongs. Police Report Filed, Call 911 , Officer Responded ( Please see the Picture ) By the time we left hotel, it was around 11:30PM, literary no place to go and stuck. The next morning, I called the company that we booked this place through for full refund. Their policy stated that we should contact the hotel for any refund. So we did. The manager Caryann if i am spelling it correctly refused, offer 1 day refund, because of her logic that we left the hotel after 3PM check out time, therefore we missed that deadline and we were only going to get 1 day refund. This is how a person, in supervision manages situations like this. Wow, that is all I can Say. "SIR, DID YOU STAY HERE OR NOT? DID YOU USE OUR HOTEL SERVICES FOR THESE DAYS OR NOT? SO, YOU MUST PAY FOR THOSE DAYS. YOU KNOW THE CHECK OUT TIME IS 3PM, WHY ARE YOU ASKING FOR FULL REFUND? Still in disbelief. Can't believe someone in management position can use their reasoning and logic in this way. Better training handling these situation is definitely necessary for her managers. Just to advise on those who like to stay here. Be very careful as there is no Camera except for lobby. We all know that things do happen, we are all human beings. It is a good practice that we should put ourselves into each others shoes and possible understand what others. I can tell you being tough does not take anyone forward in life, yes you may feel good afterwards, but sleep with it and see where it takes you.

Location was fantastic! Room was alright (found a broken spoon under the bed), and bathroom floor was a bit sticky and the street was loud, but didn't hamper sleep. For value of what I paid it was a good mix and if I was going to visit a friend in the area I would stay at the Ramada again.

Twenty mins walk from downtown. Nice spacious room. Comfortable bed. Strong, hot shower. Good housekeeping service. Good hotel rates.

Look bad outside and smell bad inside. Attendants were nice and polite. The rooms are horrible and stunk. Make sure to book with bathroom in your room not shared. I'm glad i stayed at Howard Johnson by Wyndam Hotel across the street. Better price and does not smell.
